9/29
His eyes scan the milling crowd, lighting up only when he sees the harvest cleric through the shapes. His spear is pulled from his inventory and waved over his head, the bright white of the blade the most noticeable thing he can think of on his person.]
Nanashi! Over here!
Re: 9/29
He targets Mithrun the moment he's able to, casting:]
Pha Repth!
[Have a full heal, buddy.]

His HP starts ticking up - slower than you might expect, like it's the deeper physical injury offering some resistance. It's the bruising that fades first. Slow but steady as Nanashi's magic works into him, the reds its slow warp into purple dissipates, leaving behind only Mithrun's pale, lightly-scarred skin. His HP ticks up.
The shoulder is slower work. The first sign of the magic flowing through the damaged bones Mithrun's eyes going narrow, his lips pursing; bone and flesh knitting together - a strange feeling, uncomfortable, but not awful. There's the soft sound of cracking shoulder shifts back into place, bit by bit - it takes time given the delicacy of the healing, but, as sign of his progress, his HP ticks up - by great amounts. It looks like this was the greatest source of injury.
The rest heals quicker - minor nicks and cuts and bruises from battle. When it's all done, he exhales sharp - looking more alert, the fatigue faded with the radiating pain. )
... You... leveled up a lot.
( Guy who was at level five at the meeting really put some elbow grease into leveling.
As he says that, he reaches and grabs at Barrett's forearm, like he's trying to keep him from running off - which, it's inevitable. But he isn't any less frustrated about it. )

But wherever there's sounds of combat, Barrett instantly turns his attention, carefully circling the grounds with tired steps. Morgan was around here somewhere. And even if Morgan is in no mood to talk after today, Barrett still knows he has to find him.]
no subject
He's expecting Barrett, so he notices him when he comes, but he still finishes his combo before he turns to him, as if carried by momentum. Rapid arcs and his blade gleaming in the light; the dummy's HP hits 1 before Mithrun lowers his blade, standing straight, and the dummy's HP jumps back to full.
He turns to wherever Barrett might be standing, and studies him for a time. His expression is hard to read, but it looks like he's maybe deciding what he should think. )
... Are you staying?
( Or leaving again, after this? )
no subject
All of Barrett's armor has been unequipped, the skin of his palms and knuckles reddened where they cross over his knees. As Mithrun coasts to a stop, staring down at Barrett with a look that he can't even begin to understand, the redhead doesn't make a move to stand. Aware, complacent, submissive to the fact that he's done quite a lot of wrong in the last few hours.]
...I want to. [Quiet, but firm.] I can go, if you want to be alone. But... I feel like it was wrong of me. Leaving you.

Morgan. I'm here.
Can you let me in?
no subject
He looks - pale, like someone suffering a migraine; brows scrunched up, expression an echo of a grimace. That text conversation had taken a toll on him, in some way, apparently - amplified by the burden of the meeting not long before. His room is genuinely empty barring his guild inventory chest, so Barrett can guess from the faint redness along one side of Mithrun's face he was just lying on the ground until Barrett came.
But still, his expression grows very faintly more awake when Barrett arrives, like he'd been in a stupor. )
... Barrett. Did you want to go to your room?
( His empty room is fine, but he doesn't know if Barrett would want to occupy it. )
no subject
A pause, a swallow, reaching his hand out for Morgan to take.]

Before Gany meeting (week of 10/8)
Barrett waits patiently for Levi and Kara with his new armor already set, worn and battered, a new lance bladed with white against his back. There's a careful look of anticipation as he scrolls through keywords, deciding. But he lets his attention be drawn whenever his company of one is broken up by visitors.]
Mn. It's been a while since we did something together.
[He'll give a nod of hello to Kara, whether she comes with Levi or separate, before looking towards his brother and his new armor set with his brows raised.]
...What are all the moons for?
no subject
It sure has been. Let's have a good time today.
no subject
[It's Levi's first time really getting a good look at his new gear himself, and as he looks down at the sturdy armor and patterned sword, he seems...unsure. It looks cool, and it's bound to be great for fighting in, but something about it feels off to him.
He rotates the sword around in his hand, shrugging.]
Your guess is as good as mine. It was part of the new gear I got for hitting level 50. I just hope it isn't as, uh...vocal...as my last weapon.
[He got used to the lewd noises after a while, but it never stopped being embarrassing when others heard it.
But once he sees action with this weapon, he might be missing the old one sooner than he realizes...]

10/21 - MAC ANU
The chain that hangs from his chest matches the new decorations of his wings - the illusion of eyes, all seeming to stare. But it's only an illusion, like a bug distracting a predator.
He turns when he hears company approaching. The dark circles under his eyes are new, punctuated by eyes that... definitely look far darker than his normal brown.]
There you are. [His voice stays the same, as does the natural stoicism of his default expression.] Good.
I spoke to Lily. There was something he said that I don't think the guild should hear.
no subject
(His…friend?)
As concerned as this makes him, he stamps it down for the meantime. He needs to keep his cool, for everyone’s sake.
…oh, this is about Lily? His eyebrows raise slightly, but his tone remains neutral.]

Mostly? The redhead will be snoozing and immobile. It's hard not to guess why when his left leg is bound completely in a bright blue cast. Someone has drawn several animals in multicolored sharpie, and there's some signatures of numerous unfamiliar names that dot it as well.
He's not much for combat just yet. It's hard to tell if he ever will be like this. But he's alive. And he's got nothing but time on his hands for the moment, for those that need to get anything off their chest.]
shortly after he yelled at him on Uta's post
Jesus, Red. You just can't catch a damn break.
[Tossing out a joke to mask the very palpable relief in his voice.]

(jaws music)
Mithrun has built himself a little contraption for getting around guild homes: a wireframe of something akin to a three-wheel moped he sits sidesaddle on. Crude and simple in its function, it's not good for too much besides going slowly and making obtuse turns. This does amplify the length of time it takes for him to actually get to Barrett, considering there's at least one turn between Mithrun's room and the lobby, and... uh... good bye Mithrun...
But he does get there eventually. Preceded by Basque's nails clicking on the floor (since she'd been accompanying Mithrun happily everywhere since his return) and the sound of the gentle motor, Mithrun eventually rolls into the lobby. He does not look pleased, but at least he doesn't seem angry? It's a little hard to tell with his eyes covered by his veil, given he was trying on the lv100 gear he'd gotten in his room before he checked the forums. )
... Barrett.
( Without much thought, he pushes himself off the moped; he takes advantage of his lunging gravity to stumble forward two, three, four steps - directly onto the couch. He might have flopped badly onto your leggies if they were propped up on the couch, sorry dude. But he's scrambling up beside him regardless. no time for dat goku. )
Explain.

When Mithrun arrives, he doesn't stride in with his usual assertive distinction. He's quick to move in once he's directed to Barrett's bed, because he's very much worried - but, once he arrives, he almost seems to hesitate, his body language stiff and uncomfortable. He seems like he's not sure what he's supposed to expect, given where he left off in the conversation. )
... Barrett. Does it still hurt?
( Concern first, at least. He's definitely troubled by how scuffed up Barrett may or may not look. )
no subject
Morgan really must be dwelling on that conversation harder than he'd thought.
Expression growing firm, Barrett pushes himself to the side of his own bed, swinging his legs over the side with an exhausted huff.]
Yeah. It's sore. I got thrown into a wall really hard. But I won't be in as long this time, at least.
[A beat of silence passes, before he holds out one of his hands.]
...Hey. It's okay.
