[ Fandaniel, of course, is going to be over in the part of the seats he's set up for announcing the matches. He is styling the grandma skin available as one of the prizes because... of course, he would be. If asked, he'll mention it's one of the prizes, of course, and he won't have it anymore once the tournament is done, but until then, he is rocking that little old lady look, aw yeah.

But yes, onward to the announcing! ]

Hello, hello, I am so glad to see how many of you could join us today! It's shaping up to be a fantastic show of strength, even at only the current level cap! So do stick around, grab a snack from the NPC vendors, and enjoy!

[ Though nothing is stopping people from coming up to him between matches to pester him! ]

Of course! Everyone does love a good tournament... and a chance for a special little skin, to boot. Even if only for the Grunty one, it's unique enough to draw attention.

[ So long as the prizes are worth it, even those who'd usually avoid PVP might come crawling in to sign up! Ah, but speaking of skins! Fandaniel turns to look Hien up and down. ]

Although I see that you aren't sporting one of our possible prizes, hmm?

[ Furin has his snacks, but to enjoy those snacks he must yeet the froggy head. That's fine honestly, but to be on the safe side, or the cheeky side, he'll take a seat next to fandaniel to spectate, donning his maid outfit reward for hitting level cap. There is a lot of frills here between him and Fandaniel in a granny skin, huh. ]

Got future plans after this tournament? It seems like it's going well.

[ Oho, a wild Furin has appeared. Fandaniel lowers his megaphone now that he's announcements are done and turns to look at him, eyebrows raised high. No frog head? How rare! ]

Goodness, you do have a face! 'tis a miracle to see.

[ Ah, but then he glances back out at the match only just starting. The megaphone comes up, though only so he can tap it idly against his chin, leaving it off to not make any strange sounds while doing so. ]

Hmm, that depends upon them, I suppose, out there. Now that they've seen it done, anyone else could run a tournament, but I suppose I did call it my guild's first annual one.

[ Oria is definitely sitting in the spectators seat with a Sunflower Frappe. He's enjoying the fact that he can cook his own game recipe meals, thank you. ]

It's pretty exciting to see so many people fight and how they do it! Maybe I should take notes.

[ Oh Sinclair, run, ruuun, but it'll be too late since Fandaniel only announces himself when he's already there and taking a seat right next to him. If he can, he'll throw an arm around his shoulders, all friendly and everything. It's terrible. ]

[ He brought this on himself by sitting up in the stands. He also fails to escape on time so you know what fandaniel you get to be buddy buddy with him.]

[Candeloro was his second opponent during the tournament--which, may have been kind of impressive depending on who you ask that she even got that far, considering that she is at this current time severely underleveled outside of this tournament without the level bump tournament participants are given here for an even field.

Sadly, it had not been enough to carry her through the second round, but she approaches Sinclair after in good spirits all the same as soon as she has the opportunity to do so.]

[Levi is spectating the tournament to cheer Kara on!

When she wins her first match, he loses himself in his excitement. He gets to his feet to hoot and holler for the whole arena to hear:]

His face goes beet red once he realizes what he just did, and he quickly sinks all the way to the ground where (hopefully) no one can perceive him.]

[ She is not even remotely embarrassed. It actually means a lot to her that Levi is so excited about her win!! Kara turns towards the sound of his voice and enthusiastically waves to him. ]

[ It was an honorable match! Swallow and Kara both gave it their all. She's satisfied that it was a good fight more than the actual win, but also, thanks, boyfriend. ]

[ Fandaniel has relocated to the middle of the arena itself. He's passed out the prizes, congratulated the winner and runner-up, and now... for a very special announcement! And he does a little whirl and throws an arm out to beckon everyone, everyone in the arena, closer! ]

Ah, but before you leave, may I please have everyone join us down here in the ring! You, too, Hien! I see you trying to lurk away! There is one last special announcement that needs to be made!

[ Of course, as people filter down, he waits, and waits, and then when there are enough and, most importantly, Hien, regardless of whatever reluctance he might have to join them, he strikes... verbally! With his megaphone! ]

Our final event of the day, my friends! Our wonderful Head Admin has agreed to take all of us on in one last battle! All of us beta testers versus him! Who shall win?!

[ He points directly at Hien, a grin spreading wide across his face. Yes, this entire tournament was just for this, to get the drop on Hien. Surprise! ]

He really shouldn't be.

Hien sees his stats get nerfed to level 25 like everyone else, but he keeps his skills. He supposes that's the limitation of trying to nerf the Head Admin. He could just revert this, but you know what. He needs an outlet for stress.

They say that Harvest Clerics wield a staff in the name of a deity of tranquility.

Hien's staff looks more like a mace with a snake coiling around it.

Nothing like the good old days. ]

Fine. I'll kill every single one of you in a way I see fit.

[ Hien casts MeJuk Kruz, an AoE wood spell that consists of a very big tornado of extremely sharp leaves to start off then casts LaRig Geam right after to keep his SP above acceptable levels throughout the fight.

He's also in the Big Bad Wolf skin as part of the advertising. Wow.

ooc: This is for threading out the fight if you'd like! I'll adhere to the fates of the dice roll for the result at the end, but regardless of the outcome, he'll be pretty tough in the journey to the end anyway.

[This is it. This is what he'd been waiting for. The "chance" he'd gotten in Indieglut Lugh had not exactly been unfair but it had been under circumstances where he couldn't use any of his gameplay skills- which was fine, for the time, but he wanted to test himself. Even though when it comes down to it, he prefers to make it real.]

[But in public, let's try and save a little bit of face, huh, Hien-kun? (At least at first.)]

[While Hien is distracted doing his casting, a dark rumble sounds from beneath him- and suddenly, the ground explodes into brimstone and hellfire from beneath him from a MeAni Zot, knocking him off his feet it he isn't careful.]
