He casts Pha Repth, a 100% single target HP heal. LaRig Geam keeps ticking his SP upwards too, like a regen. He's never low on SP, and he supposes he can just play the waiting game until the two Shadow Warlocks are out of SP and he can go bludgeon them to death with his staff-mace. ]
That's it? There has to be more effort than from the two of you, right?

[ But that's a hard sell since even if everyone else joined in right now, those healing and SP regen spells are going to be tough to out-DPS. Still, Fandaniel didn't go into this scheme assuming they would win. No, that was never the point, not exactly...
And it sure won't stop him from snapping out a good ol' GiVak Kruz (16) to follow up his little question. If Okoto keeps him moving, he'll keep following up. They can work together, for better or worse! ]

Though her all... seems lackluster, almost hesitant this time (5) compared to her mercilessly placed shots in previous rounds. There's so many players moving about, and friendly fire is a thing! It wouldn't do to get trigger happy on her teammates. ]

Admin... you don't need someone else to fight for you, bastard.
[ When it might seem that he's going to launch another attack, Joonghyuk leaps away with the intention to grab Brambles and leave the arena, but it's clearly not his lucky day as he slips (4 lol) while at it, but steadies himself just fine and in case of a counterattack, he'll try to dodge (9). ]

Whew.
The Death Bringer combo especially took a huge chunk of HP out of Hien, but he follows it up with another Pha Repth to restore his HP to full. ]
Your friend has free will that isn't limited by my activities, so shouldn't you be scolding him instead?
[ He hasn't done anything to convince Brambles?? Wow.
This time, his focus is a lot better when he casts another AoE leaf tornado spell (15). The range is much more massive than last time, so please take care in not getting hit, everyone. ]

[In order to do the most damage....]
Spells can only do so much, right? That goes for us, but that goes for you too, dear admin.
[Regen is great and all, but it depends on just how much he can heal at a time. With 4 or more attackers and a good roll, they ought to have a chance to gang up, right?]
[Matoba decides to add more bodies to the fray, more trouble for Hien to have to keep an eye on- and casts More Goblins, not only the greatest attack name in history, but right what it says in the tin: 3 gnarly, annoying little goblins to harass him, on top of everyone else. Enjoy!!]
[Also, that AoE? He's just facetanking that. But Hien already knows he can take that much, doesn't he? 🙂]

They're dead.
He quietly breathes out and a laugh almost escapes him. ]
wow dw stopped sending me notifs for this???
He gets caught up in the storm of leaves from Hien, feeling them slice at his skin and catch at his robes, whittling down his HP as they strike (8), though as he turns to bludgeon Okoto's goblins to death, he strikes out with a BiJuk Rom (14) of his own: one whirlwind of dangerous leaves in return for another! ]

This is what Hien meant by handicap earlier. Hope Fandaniel fully understands that now. ]

[But Matoba notices the look in Hien's eyes, his slow shift from the annoyance of swatting flies to enjoying himself. It's a change that makes him pause, not from fear, but in reassessing the situation.]
[It's time enough for Hien to be able to freely change course, and run up to bludgeon Fandaniel.]
[Doggy's having a little too much fun, isn't he? Time to calm down, now.]
[While Hien's back is to him, Matoba casts a STAB GiRue Kruz to nail him directly to the back of his head with a geyser of water (20), which if nothing else, he hopes to distract his attention back off of Fandaniel, who will certainly need a moment after that nasty critical staff attack.]
[This isn't playtime anymore.]
I'm right over here if you want to start taking bites out of people, attack dog. [It sure sounds like Matoba isn't surprised by this behavior out of Hien, huh? What's up with that? His eyes flick to the other fighters in the arena, hoping they can tell he's giving them a chance to get out scot-free while they can.]
[And if they don't, well. They had warning.]

steel chairsnake staff! Fandaniel begins to move but he isn't fast enough, not by a long shot, and, yes, that is when he realizes exactly why Hien called being a Harvest Cleric a nerf for himself. It's a split-second realization and then it's lights out for Mr. Fandaniel as the head admin is upon him, staff swinging and connecting with his head with a very audible crack. He doesn't even get to laugh. All he can manage is a second of shock, then the beginning of a grin, and then he's collapsing to the dusty ground of the arena, taken out by a very painful-looking crit.
Someone's going to be nursing quite the rattled skull in real life for a bit, huh? ]

Anyway, he was pretty elated and distracted with the killing blow he enacted that he won't be able to dodge that GiRue Kruz anyway (13), and with that crit, Hien takes a good amount of damage despite it being magic.
But will he heal?
No, not right now.
Matoba is the next target and Hien runs to do the same to him too, running up to Matoba and using his staff to bludgeon his head (20). Attack dog? Yeah. Absolutely. The Head Admin is going feral.
He's a healer? lol. lmao. ]
no subject
[Taking a chunk out of his HP feels good. Yeah. You turn around and look at him now, Hien, talking shit on the Warlocks!]
[He couldn't beat Hien in a fight the last time and it looks like he's not going to manage it this time. He's charging up another spell, but before he can manage it, Hien is running at him. He has a choice: try to finish firing up his spell at point-blank before Hien takes him out, or.... take advantage of his proximity.]
[Another attack is meaningless at this point. He knows which one he's choosing.]
[The staff clubs him in the head and he's seeing stars, lights, colors; the stickiness of blood. But as he sways and stumbles, he lurches forward to grab onto the front of Hien's shirt, and slams his forehead forward into Hien's (5).]
[With a harsh, shuddered breath, his tongue swipes out against the side of Hien's mouth, tasting the blood from when he smashed his nose. Satisfying.]
I hope you had fun, Hien-kun.
[His grip loosens as he passes out, dissolving to respawn in a little while outside of the Arena.]
no subject
Yeah, he's having fun. He is absolutely having fun. He takes that forehead slam and he feels a little dizzy after that, but it's just blood (that will eventually fade when the two respawn elsewhere in a minute) everywhere. Honestly, the only reason why the crit staff attack worked was because they were already low on HP. Hien is still level 25, after all. Despite how Harvest Clerics have the highest physical attack out of the other spellcasters, it's still low in comparison to actual physical DPS classes.
Hopefully, Matoba's sacrifice wasn't in vain for the people who wish to dip out and away from this lunatic of a Head Admin, because Hien is surveying the fighting arena to see who wants to be next. ]
