Yes, that's exactly it. [Resting his chin on bridged hands, Matoba raises an eyebrow.] We talked about it before, huh? An Adept Rogue, and not taking advantage of surprising the competition with an advantageous choice... You're not really suited to it, huh?

That girl, on the other hand... I've been rather impressed by her viciousness.

As usual, Matoba is adept at getting under Levi's skin.]

I'm perfectly good at it in PVE content, and that's all I care about. Maybe I'd have given this tournament a shot if I was interested in the gear, but I'm not.

[Also, it's run by another person he dislikes. Makes things even less appealing.

As for Kara...]

You gotta be with a class like hers. It's speed and combo-reliant, so she can't afford to let her opponent get a hit in edgewise.

[There's a sneer to Matoba's smile, as if he knew something that he thinks Levi doesn't. His eye flicks out to the tournament field to watch Kara's fight finish up. He could almost think he can see it from here- that undercurrent in her eye that she'd shown at the guildhall.]

You're right, though. It'd be dangerous to allow anyone in. One wrong move-- [Matoba flicks a finger and make a popping sound.]

--Hahaha, I should know! Shadow Warlocks are also quite fragile.

Maybe. Like I said, I am quite fragile, [Matoba agrees. He's under no illusions about his own class stats!] However, the reward of a fragile class is usually a breaking point of DPS in the late-game. Never fear; if this beta ends without some rewarding stat bonuses for this class, I will be noting it in my feedback. A well-balanced game ought to take that into account, after all.

... Of course, in competitive, stats are not everything. [Smile.] There is also mindset. That is what I mean about "frame of mind".
