[The time has come... for fun! Δ Haggard Traveler's Reprieve has been decorated with all the niceties that a beach party requires - docks for fishing, large umbrellas to hide from the sun, several tables with sets of chairs for sitting and conversing, and the most obvious addition: a massive roaring bonfire with a big cooking mesh over the top of it for barbecue cookin'!

Leo's wearing a fishing hat and aviators alongside his trademark loincloth-and-nothing-else getup for maximum dissonance. From his position on the other side of the bonfire, he waves a hand at those arriving.]

Welcome to the Beach Bash! Snacks and drinks are on the tables, bottles of sunscreen and crafting tables are under the umbrellas, and complementary fishing gear are at the docks for your convenience. Have fun, friends~

[Emperor Grunty is also here, should you wish to annoy him! He's currently laying in the sand with a reflector. What? Grunties need their sun too!]

[ Oria is not in any form of swimsuit. He is in his default clothes with a long scarf—actually he'll take the scarf off. He's sitting on one of the tables, helping himself to some tasty barbecue that Leo cooked up. If anyone interrupts Leo from making the food of the gods, he's going to kill someone.

He has gone through 4 plates already.

This is also the wildcard option because I'm planning on tagging around anyway. ]

[ Surprise, Michel is here! Where the people are. Despite his mild human allergy. Unlike Oria, he is in swim trunks. He doesn't really have much interest in the barbeque, but he plunks into a seat across from Oria to just stare in fascination.

How many plates are you going to go through, Oria. ]

[ Oria goes through two more plates before finally regarding Michel with a raised eyebrow and then shoving a rib into his mouth if possible. Eat something?! Damn. ]

[ All he wanted was to hover here like a pale crow counting plates. How could Oria have betrayed him like this?? Operation rib stuff is successful and leaves Michel staring balefully at him, both hands raised to his mouth as he tries to figure out how not to choke or make a disgusting mess of it. ]

[ (Affectionate). Anyway, he's snagging a napkin for himself to try to clean up whatever damage Oria did to him with that rib. Augh. He's like a bbq sauce vampire now. ]

[ Well... that comparison isn't so bad. In fact, it sounds kinda cool, so he'll let it slide. ]

[Orion the pomchi is at Oria's feet, trying to beg very cutely for some food. Is BBQ meat good for dogs? Who knows.

But where is Sinclair?]

[ To Oria, black pomchis are really unique, but they stop being unique when it's all he sees almost every day. He looks at Orion. ]

No food.

[ He tries to firmly state that. They can be trained like real dogs, right? That's what Oria thought he heard. But yeah, there's... the emotional support dog. Where's the target for the emotional support? ]

[Orion whines sadly at the 'no food', but frisks away across the sand, towards the docks.

But there's still no Sinclair?]

[ When Oria arrives, he can't find Sinclair. Where on earth...? He looks down into the waters and he can't find him like he did when he found Sinclair's title hovering above his head when he was submerged in the pond. Perhaps it's because it's the ocean, but it's pretty deep. Logically, if Sinclair drowned somehow, Orion wouldn't have even be able to go and find Oria.

... ... ...

He tries very hard not to think of the possibility that Sinclair might be drowning instead and even though he's always hesitant with water and how there's a reason how he never goes swimming or anything as recreational purposes, he bites his bottom lip and dives. WHERE IS SINCLAIR?? ]

[Down at the bottom of the ocean! Or well, as deep as the game's rendering lets him get. He hasn't been aware of time passing at all, having dropped a few things into the ocean by accident - stupid drop button in his inventory. When Oria find Sinclair, he's collecting the last of his inventory - a silly mood ring he doesn't actually want. He glances up when he sees movement.

Oria? Oh, Oria!]

[ Oh. Sinclair isn't drowning. That's good. Oria thinks Sinclair must have eaten the stew, which is a good idea, because Oria is running out of air, so he swims back to the surface. When he gets there, he gasps for air. His lungs feel like they're going to explode. Lordt. ]

[ ? ??? That is very worrying movement. Just swimming back up as fast as he can, breaking the surface shortly after Oria. No gasping for breath because...underwater stew]

Oria...? What's wrong?

[ What's up man he's also in his default clothes, shirt partly unbuttoned to account for the heat. He takes a seat across of Oria with a plate of food of his own.

That's a lot of plates. Noé is only on his first. ]

You went through the food pretty fast. It must be that good, then?

[ No hesitation whatsoever. ]

Leo makes some sick barbecue! These ribs are awesome. Here.

[ He gives Noe one too. Here you go, lad. ]

[ He'll take a bite out of one of the ribs. His eyes immediately light up. ]

Wow, it's delicious! The flavor just melts in your mouth... I didn't know you could do things like this in a video game!

They released a quest on this, actually--to celebrate the release of profession jobs. If you cook something that isn't a game recipe and submit it to the head admin--

--he'll judge your dish and give you a reward if you pass.

I'm not really good at cooking, so it's better that I don't enter. That just means that the people who make good stuff like this have less people to worry about, too. Did you enter?
