[The time has come... for fun! Δ Haggard Traveler's Reprieve has been decorated with all the niceties that a beach party requires - docks for fishing, large umbrellas to hide from the sun, several tables with sets of chairs for sitting and conversing, and the most obvious addition: a massive roaring bonfire with a big cooking mesh over the top of it for barbecue cookin'!

Leo's wearing a fishing hat and aviators alongside his trademark loincloth-and-nothing-else getup for maximum dissonance. From his position on the other side of the bonfire, he waves a hand at those arriving.]

Welcome to the Beach Bash! Snacks and drinks are on the tables, bottles of sunscreen and crafting tables are under the umbrellas, and complementary fishing gear are at the docks for your convenience. Have fun, friends~

[Emperor Grunty is also here, should you wish to annoy him! He's currently laying in the sand with a reflector. What? Grunties need their sun too!]

[Sinclair can be found in a lot of places today. And of course, not at all.

Near the beginning of the party, he can be found by the docks, armed with a fishing pole. If you decide to approach, Sinclair instantly brightens as if he's very glad to see you - even if you haven't spoken to him before or left your previous conversation on bad terms - what? Why?

Because he's full of love and joy and the first three people he sees today will get to know how awesome they are.

...oh no...

Anyway Sinclair cannot be found at all around late afternoon, but near the evening he returns and sits at a crafting table, frowning at some equipment. How can he put this together to make an armor that wasn't so...bloody.]

This is more away from most people, though; he is drawn to this person working at a crafting table, however. ]

I'm trying to work out how to craft my own armor, but it's harder than expected.

It's trying to work out what materials would work best to make good armor and a weapon.

[ It's a deluxe box so everything is there. But lining it up on the menu without a guide makes it hard to know what to use]

I don't want to waste it...

[ Looking at everything all at once makes the bigger picture seem much more confusing, doesn't it? ...It's always best to narrow it down. Break down the problem into smaller pieces. ]

[ Here's a guy Sinclair's never seen before! Memoir will go ahead and join him on the docks with a fishing pole of his own. He'll sit nearby and cast his line, and he'll wait patiently for any cues to start reeling something in. ]

Oh, not the outfit. I dress a lot more plainly in real life. That's part of the appeal of these kinds of things though, isn't it? Being able to wear things you normally wouldn't.

[ For example, who wears a full suit to a beach party. Memoir, that's who.... He may not have a swimsuit skin, but still!! ]

Even things like fishing. It's hard to make time for it in person, isn't it?

[ unfortunately this is not a case where uta will find it too particularly strange to be greeted in such a positive way. rather, she will not see the true problem with it. if sinclair wants to be super happy and flash everyone a bright smile, he should be allowed to without judgement.

...even if it is a bit strange. it's fine? totally fine. people should find the small pleasures in (virtual) life despite all of the doom and gloom and crazy stuff that has been happening. uta doesn't have a fishing pole herself but she does match sinclair's smile.

but, at the same time, if she isn't one of the first three people he sees, her greeting is not too much different. she accepts sinclair for whatever and however sinclair wants to feel. ]

Having any luck catching anything? I'm curious to see what kind of fish they've programmed.
