[AFK Fandaniel? Owen doesn't trust like that - he could very well be just idling as he does something incredibly dull in the real world, but in a city that's a PVP zone? He's not stupid enough to let his guard down.

...But he will take this opportunity to test Fandaniel as he walks up to him, stopping about arms length away and using the burlesque skin on his fans to just... gently tickle Fandaniel's nose... Will he sneeze? Or be annoyed? Let's find out!]

[ If it is a trap to lure in those thinking they might get an easy PK, well, he's doing a very good job of it. When Owen approaches and stops before him, there's no reaction.

When he reaches out with a fan to tickle his nose?

No reaction then, either. He simply continues standing there. A bit rude, actually, considering he was the one who invited him to take a look around in the first place. ]

[Wow. Okay. Rude. Owen folds his fans back up, tucking them away into his inventory. He leans in a bit closer, eyes narrowed as he looks down at Fandaniel.]

Is there anything going on in there, or is your head well and truly empty?

[Don’t make him shake you!!! Or just leave, which is also a possibility.]

[ He says this as he moves his head to meet Owen's eyes and offers a smiiiile. His tome is already in hand. The non-screaming one, which means worse stats, but it still packs a punch as wind whips up razor-sharp leaves to cut at both of them. It's an area-effect spell, so even if Owen leaps back, he'll still be in the radius of it. ]

[First Hien, now Fandaniel… Why does this keep happening to him… At least Fandaniel is trying to hurt him and not flip up his skirt.

He leans back, but he’s not too concerned about the leaves chipping at his health.]

[ Oh, he's just... Fandaniel pouts at Owen when that's all his reaction is. Really? ]

[ He'll snap his tome shut again and stow it. ]

I don't make it a habit of giving people what they want unless it's something I want too, and your pouting face is simply adorable.

[He's a very sane and normal individual.]

Fandaniel's pout turns into him sticking his tongue out at Owen for claiming such but he won't dwell on his failure to pick a fight. Instead, he drops back into a smile and turns to the side, an arm sweeping out towards the entrance to the guild @ homes. ]

I hope you've memorized that pout, then, because there shan't be any others on our little tour today. I am excited to introduce you to our guild's nefarious tower! Onward!

[ And off he goes, expecting Owen to tag along as the entrance portals them into the right guild hall. It's... edgy as fuck? To be honest? All dark metals and sharp corners and red lighting. ]

[If he knew it would probably get him attacked again, he’d pinch Fandaniel’s cheek. His HP is still slowly coming back, so he can’t take more risks unless he wants to waste twenty minutes on the respawn timer.

[ That would have resulted in a PK for sure. Alas, Owen keeps his hands to himself, and thus does Fandaniel not get to murder him. It would be disappointing if he wasn't already moving on to showing Owen around the place. ]

It is dreadful, isn't it? [ Hating it is exactly what he was going for. Whether that's surprising or not, well... ] I'm not sure that I'm entirely sold on the red lighting, however. Since the guild emblem is purple and green, I can't help but imagine it'll clash if we ever put banners up.

[Some day Fandaniel will get to kill him directly. It'll be worth the wait!]

If you were concerned about clashing you would have stopped before designing the banner the way it is. It looks like a Halloween decoration.

Halloween fits the aesthetics of this guild much better, at least.

[ Cultist... Grunty... ah, well, Owen will see how well that fits the little creature when it comes shuffling out from around a twisted metal pillar near the walls. When selected, that will indeed be its name. Seeing it has company, it shuffles over to greet them, hooved hands waving up over its head once it stands before them. ]

OoooOooo, welcome to the dreaded Telophoroi tower! [ Wave, wave, aw, look, it's trying to be spooky. ] How can this humble Grunty be of service, heheheh~?

[Oh… Look at it. It’s adorable. Absolutely precious, with how it’s trying so hard to be spooky. Owen wants to pat it on the head.]

[They have little creachurs… Joining the guild is suddenly much more worth it. Once again, Owen cares about animals much more then people.

If the grunty counts as an animal still? It’s a gray area.]

[ Even Fandaniel has to admit, Cultist Grunty is cute, especially since it's based on him! Ah, but when Owen asks what it can do, Fandaniel will let Cultist Grunty answer on its own. ]

I can do all sorts of dark rituals to aid you in your quest for death and destruction!

[ It claims, though they're all just the usual functions attached to the guild grunties. Let it live its part, shh. ]

If you must needs summon forth a guild room for thyself, I can take your gold and sacrifice it for you! I can open a dark portal directly into the guild bank! I can even use my mystical magic to change the settings of the guild's @ home or even your personal room, heheheh~!

[Cultist Grunty might just be the cutest thing in the game.]

Useful to have, to be sure, and someone to keep an eye on the guild lobby day in and day out. [ Though he has doubts that anyone will be able to or bother to break into private @ homes. ] The private rooms have additional storage that's just for you, though, so it isn't the worst investment.

[ Anyway, he's going to drop into a crouch before the grunty and reach out to plop a hand on the top of its hood. Ruffle, ruffle, ruffle. ]

[ And, of course, Cultist Grunty takes this poorly and flails and baps away at Fandaniel's hand with its little hooves. ]

It’s not. The inventory in this game is actually quite small.

[He needs space for all of his armor skins!! And his horrible American armor set once he’s finally out of level 25. But mostly for all of his glamour.]

It’s hard to find it fearsome when it laughs like that…

Though I wouldn’t call it “hideous”, either. It’s more like… a child trying far too hard to be impressive.

Seeing as it reminds me of myself as a child, no, I do believe "hideous" is the correct term here.

[ Fandaniel carries on ruffling the hood over Cultist Grunty's hair, all to the background of the grunty whining about the whole ordeal. Cultist Grunty must be feared! Feared! But not for much longer. He'll relent soon enough and rise up to his feet again. ]

Though I hardly mean it without a touch of fondness, I suppose.

[How he was as a child… He looks between Fandaniel and the grunty, before he nods.]

Though, perhaps you’re still like that in some ways, so you can’t help but feel conflicted feelings for your mirror.

[ Excuse him while he strikes the most dramatically shocked pose he can imagine, leaning away from Owen, a hand flying to press against his chest. Aghast, simply aghast! Ah, but he drops that soon after. ]

You aren't wrong, although not all of that applies to my real life outside of this game. I rarely attempt to seem cool or harsh out there. Hm, but... [ He takes a moment to tap his chin thoughtfully. ] I don't believe I bother trying to be cool here, either.

[ But that said, he'll smirk at Owen. ]

[Absolutely not. He thinks Fandaniel is interesting, and his theatrics and shenanigans might be more endearing to Owen then most of the rest of the current playerbase, but “cool” is a bit much.

I don’t know that “cool” is how I would describe you, but I think seeing what you get up to is endlessly entertaining.

[ A clown until the very end, after all. In any case, the tall clown turns back to the little grunty-shaped clown and bids him to stop flailing. ]

Cultist Grunty, could you swap the color of the lighting out here in the lobby? Why don't we try some purple instead?

[ Cultist Grunty huffs and puffs but at least it's no longer being treated like a cute little child (despite being exactly that, more or less). Given a command, it gives a loud "your wish is my command, heheheh~!" and opens a little menu. Beep, beep, and boop.

Red lighting shifts gradually to purple instead, throwing the tower's edgy interior into a gloomier kind of mood lighting. ]

Color me surprised.

[Because all of his theatrics totally weren’t a giveaway or anything.

Is the purple better, though? At least he got proof of what the grunty can do, even if it wasn’t really in question, but now the lighting is…]

I think this is just as bad as the red.

[Maybe they should go with pink, even if it’ll be just as clashing against the green as the red, but pink is a great color.]
