[Absolutely not. He thinks Fandaniel is interesting, and his theatrics and shenanigans might be more endearing to Owen then most of the rest of the current playerbase, but “cool” is a bit much.

He’s… cute, like Cultist Grunty.]

I don’t know that “cool” is how I would describe you, but I think seeing what you get up to is endlessly entertaining.

Entertaining? Heh. Honestly, I believe I'll take that over cool.

[ A clown until the very end, after all. In any case, the tall clown turns back to the little grunty-shaped clown and bids him to stop flailing. ]

Cultist Grunty, could you swap the color of the lighting out here in the lobby? Why don't we try some purple instead?

[ Cultist Grunty huffs and puffs but at least it's no longer being treated like a cute little child (despite being exactly that, more or less). Given a command, it gives a loud "your wish is my command, heheheh~!" and opens a little menu. Beep, beep, and boop.

Red lighting shifts gradually to purple instead, throwing the tower's edgy interior into a gloomier kind of mood lighting. ]

[Because all of his theatrics totally weren’t a giveaway or anything.

Is the purple better, though? At least he got proof of what the grunty can do, even if it wasn’t really in question, but now the lighting is…]

I think this is just as bad as the red.

[Maybe they should go with pink, even if it’ll be just as clashing against the green as the red, but pink is a great color.]

I could always opt for normal lighting but that is just so terribly, well, normal.

[ Fandaniel stares a moment at the new color of the light and how it hits the room. Not quite as sinister, but certainly more mysterious. ]

I imagine green would be as bad, too.

[Though normal lighting would absolutely be even worse... Can't have that. This isn't the normie guild for normies.]

Though it's often used for dramatic effect in movies, so it might worth trying? You won't know until you see for yourself.

[ The little guild grunty perks up again once Fandaniel is addressing it. ]

Could you slowly go through the various green options we have for the lighting? Let us say about fifteen seconds per green.

[ And as before, it pops open a display to tap on and begins going through the greens. There aren't too many but there are a few. Dark green, pastel green, neon green, shamrock green. ]

I think the brighter greens aren’t horrible, but I’m not sold.

[Green lighting and the edgy decor makes it feel like they’re on a mad scientist movie set or something… It’s at least not as bad as red, in Owen’s opinion, but now he wants to see if they’ll go through the whole rainbow.]

What about blue?

[ Blue? What... Fandaniel turns back towards Owen and raises an eyebrow at him. ]

Blue isn't even in the guild emblem, Owen.

[And yet that was his first choice for lighting...!!]

[ Fandaniel lets out a huff. ]

Well, yes, but red was the default! [ And he had simply left it on that. He puts fists to hips and looks generally put upon by the idea of running through every color not part of the emblem. Ugh. ] But if you must see blue, let us go through the entire lot.

[ Owen can waste his time right alongside Fandaniel. ]

Cultist Grunty, carry on through all the other color options, starting with the blues.

[He has an idea. It'd be stupid, but it might just work.]

Is it possible to set the lights on a color rotation?

[ Officially the gayest guild with that idea, amazing. Fandaniel gives a quiet laugh and then nods to Cultist Grunty, who's still listening to them, forever holding its little hooves before it in a bit of a monster mash way. ]

Well? You heard the man. Set a rotation.

[ Cultist Grunty gives an affirmative "heheheh~" and beep-boops away on its screen until the lights begin doing just that, slowly shifting from color to color, spaced out in a way to not make it too obnoxious. ]

Owen nods, happy with what he's done to the place.]

I think it looks fantastic. The best I think we could get.

It looks like we're planning a rave, Owen.

[ But he won't tell Cultist Grunty to stop it. It can run... for a little while. Maybe he'll get used to the slowly transitioning colors and leave it, maybe he won't, but for now? It can stay. ]

All we need now is the music.

[ And, loyal as expected, Cultist Grunty immediately throws his hooves up as high as he can and hops over to Owen, wiggling at him.

Piano, mostly, though I’ve played a few others.

[He pauses, looking like he’s considering something important. He has to decide how much to share with Fandaniel…]

I have played the harpsichord quite often, but mostly at the behest of my acquaintances.

[ Music isn't something he's that knowledgeable about. A gaping hole in his genius, one could suggest. ]

I wonder if they'll ever add instruments to the game. You might end up leaving us and starting a jazz club in your own guild hall instead if they do!

[Owen actually knowing more about a subject then someone else... It's rare, but music lessons were one of the few things he enjoyed as a youth, and if things had gone different he probably would have continued pursuing the arts.

As it is, it's just trivia, now.]
