It is dreadful, isn't it? [ Hating it is exactly what he was going for. Whether that's surprising or not, well... ] I'm not sure that I'm entirely sold on the red lighting, however. Since the guild emblem is purple and green, I can't help but imagine it'll clash if we ever put banners up.

If you were concerned about clashing you would have stopped before designing the banner the way it is. It looks like a Halloween decoration.

[ Cultist... Grunty... ah, well, Owen will see how well that fits the little creature when it comes shuffling out from around a twisted metal pillar near the walls. When selected, that will indeed be its name. Seeing it has company, it shuffles over to greet them, hooved hands waving up over its head once it stands before them. ]

OoooOooo, welcome to the dreaded Telophoroi tower! [ Wave, wave, aw, look, it's trying to be spooky. ] How can this humble Grunty be of service, heheheh~?

[Oh… Look at it. It’s adorable. Absolutely precious, with how it’s trying so hard to be spooky. Owen wants to pat it on the head.]

[They have little creachurs… Joining the guild is suddenly much more worth it. Once again, Owen cares about animals much more then people.

[ It claims, though they're all just the usual functions attached to the guild grunties. Let it live its part, shh. ]

If you must needs summon forth a guild room for thyself, I can take your gold and sacrifice it for you! I can open a dark portal directly into the guild bank! I can even use my mystical magic to change the settings of the guild's @ home or even your personal room, heheheh~!

[Cultist Grunty might just be the cutest thing in the game.]

Useful to have, to be sure, and someone to keep an eye on the guild lobby day in and day out. [ Though he has doubts that anyone will be able to or bother to break into private @ homes. ] The private rooms have additional storage that's just for you, though, so it isn't the worst investment.

[ Anyway, he's going to drop into a crouch before the grunty and reach out to plop a hand on the top of its hood. Ruffle, ruffle, ruffle. ]

[ And, of course, Cultist Grunty takes this poorly and flails and baps away at Fandaniel's hand with its little hooves. ]

It’s not. The inventory in this game is actually quite small.

[He needs space for all of his armor skins!! And his horrible American armor set once he’s finally out of level 25. But mostly for all of his glamour.]

It’s hard to find it fearsome when it laughs like that…

Though I wouldn’t call it “hideous”, either. It’s more like… a child trying far too hard to be impressive.

Seeing as it reminds me of myself as a child, no, I do believe "hideous" is the correct term here.

[ Fandaniel carries on ruffling the hood over Cultist Grunty's hair, all to the background of the grunty whining about the whole ordeal. Cultist Grunty must be feared! Feared! But not for much longer. He'll relent soon enough and rise up to his feet again. ]

Though I hardly mean it without a touch of fondness, I suppose.

[How he was as a child… He looks between Fandaniel and the grunty, before he nods.]

You aren't wrong, although not all of that applies to my real life outside of this game. I rarely attempt to seem cool or harsh out there. Hm, but... [ He takes a moment to tap his chin thoughtfully. ] I don't believe I bother trying to be cool here, either.

[ But that said, he'll smirk at Owen. ]

Why? Do you think that I'm cool?

[Absolutely not. He thinks Fandaniel is interesting, and his theatrics and shenanigans might be more endearing to Owen then most of the rest of the current playerbase, but “cool” is a bit much.

I don’t know that “cool” is how I would describe you, but I think seeing what you get up to is endlessly entertaining.

Cultist Grunty, could you swap the color of the lighting out here in the lobby? Why don't we try some purple instead?

[ Cultist Grunty huffs and puffs but at least it's no longer being treated like a cute little child (despite being exactly that, more or less). Given a command, it gives a loud "your wish is my command, heheheh~!" and opens a little menu. Beep, beep, and boop.

Red lighting shifts gradually to purple instead, throwing the tower's edgy interior into a gloomier kind of mood lighting. ]

Color me surprised.

[Because all of his theatrics totally weren’t a giveaway or anything.

Is the purple better, though? At least he got proof of what the grunty can do, even if it wasn’t really in question, but now the lighting is…]

I think this is just as bad as the red.

[Maybe they should go with pink, even if it’ll be just as clashing against the green as the red, but pink is a great color.]

I could always opt for normal lighting but that is just so terribly, well, normal.

[ Fandaniel stares a moment at the new color of the light and how it hits the room. Not quite as sinister, but certainly more mysterious. ]

I imagine green would be as bad, too.

Green might make the place feel a bit... ill.

[Though normal lighting would absolutely be even worse... Can't have that. This isn't the normie guild for normies.]

Though it's often used for dramatic effect in movies, so it might worth trying? You won't know until you see for yourself.

[ And as before, it pops open a display to tap on and begins going through the greens. There aren't too many but there are a few. Dark green, pastel green, neon green, shamrock green. ]

I think the brighter greens aren’t horrible, but I’m not sold.

[Green lighting and the edgy decor makes it feel like they’re on a mad scientist movie set or something… It’s at least not as bad as red, in Owen’s opinion, but now he wants to see if they’ll go through the whole rainbow.]

What about blue?

[ Blue? What... Fandaniel turns back towards Owen and raises an eyebrow at him. ]

Blue isn't even in the guild emblem, Owen.

[And yet that was his first choice for lighting...!!]

[ Fandaniel lets out a huff. ]

Well, yes, but red was the default! [ And he had simply left it on that. He puts fists to hips and looks generally put upon by the idea of running through every color not part of the emblem. Ugh. ] But if you must see blue, let us go through the entire lot.

[ Owen can waste his time right alongside Fandaniel. ]

Cultist Grunty, carry on through all the other color options, starting with the blues.

[He has an idea. It'd be stupid, but it might just work.]

[ Officially the gayest guild with that idea, amazing. Fandaniel gives a quiet laugh and then nods to Cultist Grunty, who's still listening to them, forever holding its little hooves before it in a bit of a monster mash way. ]

Well? You heard the man. Set a rotation.

[ Cultist Grunty gives an affirmative "heheheh~" and beep-boops away on its screen until the lights begin doing just that, slowly shifting from color to color, spaced out in a way to not make it too obnoxious. ]
