[ It might sound like he's contradicting himself here, but it's actually his lack of communication skills. But for once, he's going to try his best to get his point across. ]

You're good as you are. [ That logic... well, it doesn't have to apply to him, right? ] But stick to normal food, unless you want La Pumpkins to talk in your stomach.

[ It's a ridiculous fact to point out, but here he is. It's not even the most ridiculous thing to happen during this conversation, so it should be all right. Also, this hopefully is the face Uta's making while saying "oh no". He's not recording it, yet it doesn't necessarily mean it'll be lost forever. Oh no Melon!Uta is going to live rent free in his head.

The next moment, something unexpected happens and it's Joonghyuk trying to impersonate one of these melons as well. His voice is to deep, so it's far off from the somewhat squeaky voice an Oh no Melon! can make. ]

[ fortunately for him, he does get his point across and uta will offer him a warm smile as a reward of sorts. she's really happy for him and this progress? tossing all notions of bad reputations into the garbage, she definitely likes this side of him and is happy to be able to speak with him like this.

she couldn't simply leave him with a smile as she'll quickly start laughing as she pats her stomach, however before she gets the chance to comment on it, the statement of a lifetime will come across her ears. it's so good that he'll have Oh No Melon!uta living rent free in his head because she'll have the same.

once she gets over the shock of it. which will take her a bit as she'll just stand there gaping at him, slowing raising a hand to cover her mouth. if he's worried that she'll end up laughing at him...? well— ]

[ cue her take a step into his bubble but still respecting distance. ]

Please! [ a step even closer to him. ] I wasn't ready!

[ how will this man deal with an uta who will be giving him a look with stars in her eyes and nearly vibrating with excitement. what does she mean by she wasn't ready? there are two guesses and maybe both of them will be wrong. ]

[ Normally, he would just log out. But how many times can he tell people that he has connection issues when he has to face the consequences of his actions? Joonghyuk clears his throat and looks away, flustered. After catching a single glimpse of Uta's gaze, he can feel her eyes focused on him even when he's avoiding eye contact.

What does I wasn't ready even mean in this context? He's contemplating just asking Uta for an explanation, but in the end he just takes a deep breath and makes the worst impersonation of the grunty food once again. ]

now, as for what she's preparing herself for? well, it's a very good thing that he does it twice because she still wasn't quite ready despite the deep breath to cue her in. (which totally wasn't because she was making sure she was set up properly to record the whole thing.) uta will absolutely for the next time and join him for the second impression.
