[ Well, given that everything got crazy, Albedo hasn't had opportunity to do what he'd like to with his boyfriend.
That, fortunately, changes when he slips away to nab Noé, and entice him onto their little, cozy camping trip. He has brought along adequate materials...by accident. He has a habit of being prepared, but the fact of the matter is that the place regularly contains materials perfect for this kind of outing.
Albedo subsequently turns his attention towards the other male. Then silently holds up a bag of marshmellows extricated from one of those supplies. ]
Are you prepared to engage in the optimal camping experience?
[ Why can't he just talk like a normal person... ]
[ By now, Noé is probably in better spirits, all things considered. It's why he agreed to this camping trip, and while Albedo's got a bag of marshmallows, Noé has a chocolate bar in his hand.
... One that he's eating, actually. Boy...please. ]
[ He swallows another piece of chocolate before he sets it down. He moves to be next to Albedo, and he snakes his arm around the other's waist, pulling him close. ]
[ Albedo feels more than a semblance of excitement spike up through him. ]
...Ah, I see.
This is the result of you expanding those indulgent feelings. Naturally, I have no choice but to receive them gracefully, and grant some of my own in return.
[ He leans against Noé, the action relatively simple even as he opens his bag of marshmallows. ]
It is quite nice, isn't it? To get away like this.
[ Noé is absolutely receptive to that little shift in Albedo's weight, and he'll gladly hold him close and let him lean all he'd like. ]
It is. I think we both needed it.
[ He tries to shove the image of Unna's body out of his mind. It'll haunt him for a long, long time, but he also has space for Albedo in his heart. He doesn't feel like turning down the opportunity to heal in whatever way he can, after all.
He holds the rest of his chocolate bar with his free hand, and leans in to press a gentle kiss to Albedo's cheek. ]
Myself as well? Hmm...I suppose I can't refute your statement, as it is rooted in sound logic.
[ Albedo almost questioned it, but he supposes he can't pretend to have not been hard at work himself. Not to mention, the benefit is more than twofold in differing respects; not only to assuage Noé's emotional wounds, but like this, they can spend time together in peace.
His small smile grows softer, feeling the gentle peck against his cheek; he is in the meanwhile reaching with one hand for a small branch nearby to stick some marshmellows upon it. ]
I can assure you, that as long as you're here, it will remain as such. That said, being outside in the elements does also happen to feel comfortingly familiar.
[ It's not like it'll take that long of a time to arrive, though believe it or not, Albedo isn't as much of a movie connoisseur so he has no, uh...further suggestions. Well, there are probably boring-ass scientific documentaries as movies Albedo is aware of but that is not for recreational purposes. He's not trying to put his boyfriend to sleep here, goodness.
...So that's how he ends up picking out Shrek. It seems like it might be an interesting pick, is all? ]
I gathered enough popcorn for the rest of us, though I was uncertain of your preferences when it came to other things.
[ Noé is proving how sweet he is. Albedo's certain it would be considered quite boring, but...maybe he can find other interests in different movie genres too. ]
Not many would say that, especially if they knew what kinds of movies I am inclined to watch.
Though, I am glad you're giving the current selection a ringing endorsement.
[ But he will take the hand gently, and then head in. ]
...Of course.
[ It is easy to find a seat. Albedo will gesture to one near the front and they can plop down. ]
We can watch something you'd like after this, then. I want to know what you like, even if people don't find it interesting. I know I will.
[ He walks with him into the theater, popcorn in one hand and Albedo's in the other, and when they sit, he makes sure not to let go. He'll keep Albedo's hand nestled nicely in his.
When they have a moment to wind down for the movie, Noé idly wonders about his question on the network. It feels like the words "I love you" will leap out of his chest any moment, but he's trying to be patient and wait for the right time. Still, he can't help but look at Albedo softly as he contemplates his timing. ]
...I see I have landed myself quite the considerate partner.
[ Isn't he fortunate? He squeezes the hand that is within his own.
Albedo wonders how he managed this in the first place. The world was a much harsher place without him, and he felt so lost. He hopes that things will remain this way.
Though, he feels the look granted his way and turns his head at the other in turn. ]
[ Well, a lot's been going on lately. More than not, of course, for various reasons—Albedo has probably caught wind somehow that Noé is in the infirmary.
Whatever the reason, he decides to make sure that when he arrives, he has some sweets with him. Going for simplicity, he has taken the time to bake an apple pie, and making sure Noé is resting properly. ]
...Noé, how are you feeling?
[ Let's start with that before he breaks out the food, though. ]
[ Noé is exhausted and very sore, so he didn't hesitate to get himself looked at at the infirmary. He didn't have a moment to text Albedo; thankfully, the other seems to have already found him. Noé brightens up at his arrival. ]
[ Seeing Noé brighten up at his arrival, Albedo can't help but be glad he arrived when he did. He looks over him again, expression not really indicative of immediate worry but that is evident in his actions.
Once he is satisfied with his visual injury evaluation, he decides to reach over to lightly brush aside those light-colored bangs once again. ]
I'm happy to know that I've improved your condition significantly just by my presence.
...At any time if you feel any aches or pains, please do let me know. Also, I have brought something for you.
Now, please feel free to indulge...after you answer my question.
[ Albedo states with a bright smile. Even he can be surprisingly a little tough when it calls for it (but is it necessarily 'being tough' when he brought dessert?)
Anyway, they spend time talking, sharing apple pie, and... ]
[ ...the future is less forgiving. The following result of the battle writ before their very eyes as Albedo is lead alongside Noé to the infirmary.
He didn't expect anything else. Not really, not even when his words tingled with slight hope to reach Hien. He considered simply the likelihood of it being rather low, following the death of Matoba. Albedo did his mourning before he stepped onto the battlefield (and he is certain, most of all, that he has come to terms with it.
But who is he to mourn a man he hadn't known all that well, anyway?)
However, that isn't the case for everyone else. ]
...Whatever you so happen to be thinking, if you can manage it, I would like to hear from you.
[ Getting on the infirmary bed is going to be difficult, he thinks. That axe kick broke something... ]
[ The future is far, far less forgiving. A lot of people have been lost, perhaps not relative to the group itself but far too many in Noé's mind. Unna's death is still something that cuts deep, and while he's saddened by the loss of the others, Hien's death is another one that's shaken him to his core.
When will enough be enough? When will it stop? He knows that it's really up to them, but it truly feels like nothing will ever be enough. They can't bring back the dead.
Noé turns his head to look at Albedo. His expression is very pained. ]

It does. I feel like I've done this before...! Several times, even. I remember how to make s'mores and everything.

...Usually my tastes would be, perhaps, considered far more boring than your own.
As it is, I am also unfamiliar with the selection. Therefore, if you have any recommendations after this one, I will gladly watch with you.

I want to tell you something. You probably know what it is, but -- it's hard for me to hold back, even if the timing is a little strange.
