[ You've got mail.
After some friendly chats, the trio decide to go out on a dungeon run together. Why? Simply because that that is the way the dominoes fell.
Their prize? A lovely scenery consisting of a frosty, snowy tundra that seems to encompass the surrounding area, though right in the middle of it is stone wall, of which there is an entry point into the actual heart of the dungeon...where there are monsters and treasure to be found!
Welcome to Blurry Marble's Slacker, folks. ]

He traces the shape of a flower in the air with his weapon.]
MeJuk Kruz!
[A hail of leaves spin around the remaining Rock Head, dealing heavy single target Wood damage. Hopefully the combination of increased magic attack for him and decreased magic attack for the enemy makes it possible to one-shot it!]

[ Ah, Oria's flattened before Hector can yell. It's fine, though. 20% gone? Not a problem.
A wave of his stick and he casts Ola Repth, filling Oria back up and overhealing everyone else. This is deliberate, however, since all that overhealing practically beefs up everyone's HP bar, turning all the extra healing into barrier/shields/temporary HP. Enjoy the extra 400 HP, team.
That's followed in quick succession with LaRig Gaem, so that everyone's SP will continue to tick up in the meanwhile. Hopefully, no one will run out of juice for spells this way. ]
Keep it up!
[ Oh, and more words of encouragement, of course. ]

...And reminded very well about why having one at all in the party is very convenient. When some of the Rock Heads continue their unrepentant barrage of attacks even in the face of fire back, it's very convenient. Especially when Leo brings one down. ]
It...it's, uh, thanks.
[ But, Ganymede isn't done yet. He starts a dance of a different kind, and right as he finishes a majestic twirl, he's topped off a Miu Lei on one of those remaining Deadly Presents, keeping it occupied with its fellow companion enemy, turning against it due to a charm spell. ]

[ To everyone for having his back. With the Rock Head out of the way, he aims Vak Doom onto a Deadly Present who isn't being hassled by the charmed one so that Oria and his party can have some breathing room. If Ganymede remembers their conversation about mortar shells, this was the particular skill he compared it to, because when Oria launches the skill, the visuals certainly look like one when it makes contact with the enemy. "Deals a single target devastating blow to with a bullet imbued by fire".
Boom.
The other two are up to Leo. ]
no subject
Leo draws a quick lightning bolt shape in the air, then holds his staff high.]
GiRai Don!!
[A large bolt of electricity flies from the tip of his staff into the air, then strikes down where the two Deadly Presents are currently standing. Hopefully that should be enough to finish the two of them off!]

Hector takes one satisfied look at the carnage before putting his wand away and dusts his hands off. Like he did any of the work lmao. ]
That was easy. You guys are good at this.
[ This time, he claps Ganymede on the shoulder before gesturing towards the dungeon. ]
Let's get a move on before more enemies find us.
no subject
That sure is a lot of fire power going on there, no doubt. Ganymede blinks, looking between the two spellcasters, then back on over at Hector, especially when he gets a clap. ]
...You too.
I think we're on track to blow anything else away that might come with everyone's efforts.
[ But they don't have much to go, so surely the rest of the way is a matter of walking instead of any other encounters? Only, no, that's not true.
Are y'all sick of them yet? Because there's at least one more Rock Heads from last time, and a new trio of enemies. That is, three more Lamia Assassins coming at the group. Ganymede's already on it, once again deciding to buff for both physical and magical temporary increases—a La Corma followed by La Corv! If a tactic ain't broke, then don't fix it, right? ]
no subject
Ah yes, the good old Rock Head. Despite it not being the same, Oria can be very vindictive over the smallest things, and that Rock Head? It's getting shot with a normal one for crit damage (20) and stunning. Nice. It doesn't kill it though, since that's not Oria's aim. He shoots regular shots at the three Lamia Assassins too, stunning two of them (14, 18), but missing one (4). ]
Faunus, can you get the moving one first?
[ He needs time to queue up his skill. ]
no subject
[Acting quickly, Leo draws a fire symbol in the air.]
GiVak Don!
[Unfortunately, his aiming was a bit off, and while he manages to blast the un-stunned lamia assassin, Oria is caught in the crossfire. Well. At least Hector has something to do now?]
Whoops! Sorry about that!
no subject
[ He sees the way Leo's health basically empties out the moment that spell brushes Oria, and he calls out in alarm. Was that normal? How did that happen? He didn't see anything attack him, so...?!
Once again, he casts Ola Repth to give everyone a healthy boost of 400 HP, which is hopefully enough to heal both Oria and Leo a good amount. At least until he can cast his next heal. Just. Don't get hurt in the meanwhile, okay? ]
no subject
[ Wow, there goes the perfect dungeon run, just like that. He is judging the failing in aiming here where Leo is concerned and it is very obvious in his tone, because honestly.
Ganymede thinks really hard about this, because there's not much time when it comes to the potential moves he can make. But he decides to leave the healing really up to Hector.
He decides to spam some dancing spells. Mumyn Lei to put to sleep two Lamia Assassins for a short time, because they're about to be unstunned, he's sure. This should at least diminish the heat from the opponent's side of things temporarily. Unfortunately, there's definitely the Poison status to contend with, and there's probably a bit more white magic needed. ]
no subject
It's his armor's fault, so Oria takes responsibility by using Rue Wipe to get at the remaining Lamia Assassins. There. He immediately turns over to Leo. ]
Faunus! Are you okay?!
no subject
Yeah, I'm fine! Just a bit woozy.
[He unsteadily gets to his
feethooves and readies his staff once more, drawing another flower symbol in the air.]MeJuk Kruz.
[The stunned Rock Head is blasted by a cavalcade of leaves.]

While the rest of the party concentrates on taking down the enemies, Hector quickly casts LaRig Saem in quick succession, letting everyone's HP replenish for, hopefully, the rest of the fight. So long as no one takes any massive damage, that should keep them alive.
Sorry about your run, Ganymede. ]
no subject
After ascertaining that he probably doesn't need to jump in with a quick heal, he refocuses his attention back on the remaining monster crew. While also being momentarily glad for once he doesn't have to worry about accidentally running into someone's deadly armor because damn. ]
Come on everyone, we can finish this!
[ Those two Lamia Assassins still persist, but they're teetering on the lower half of their HPs now. To assist the rest of the way, the blond decides to throw in a wonderful debuff. A MiDek Vorv and MiDek Vorma shortly after; a rehash of one earlier tactic to ensure their magical as well as physical defenses are lowered, even as the two enemies try to aim to attack Oria and Leo each. ]
no subject
So there's only one left, but Leo should be able to get to that. ]
no subject
[A bolt rises up and strikes down the remaining Lamia Assassin, ending it then and there with little fanfare other than the spell shout.
With the area clear... Leo looks over to Oria]
Uh, any idea what happened there? I accidentally hit you with one of my spells and I just. lost all of my HP.
[He doesn't sound upset per se, just confused.]
no subject
As usual, Hector helped. But he sees how heavy skill usage is taking a toll on all of their SP (even his), so he casts a LaRig Gaem to get it ticking up either before the next fight happens, or to reduce the wait time they need until it starts replenishing on its own. Better safe than sorry, considering how quickly these enemies are coming at them.
Anyway.
Leo directs a question to Oria, and Hector looks to Oria, too. Yeah, Oria. What happened there? ]
no subject
Ganymede just quietly folds his arms, leaving the explanation up to Oria. Not his armor even if the description can certainly be read, he thinks that was basically a kind of unpleasant surprise than either one of them could have foreseen.
Or perhaps known, minus the wearer, of course. ]
no subject
My armor has an effect that if something hits me, their HP will get reduced to 1 and poisoned. This always worked on monsters, so that's why I was fine with tanking.
[ He sighs. ]
I didn't think it would work on other players too, much less ones in the same party. So I'm sorry about that, Faunus. Hector, you can save your SP. Here...
[ Oria digs through his inventory and gets out game-recipe food for the three of them. These will restore their HP and SP! Feel free to pick whichever one from the professions list from levels 1 and 2! ]
no subject
[Leo jiggles the Phantasmal Pudding and immediately plops it in his mouth.]
Don't worry about it! I shouldn't have hit you in the first place anyway. You also know how to bribe me well.
[Chomp chomp chomp. Yes, he was speaking full sentences with pudding in his mouth.]
no subject
Hector plucks a serving of the Fairly Harmless Sausage from among his pickings and sticks it straight into his mouth. Tasty! ]
Got it. You probably should've told us ahead of time, but better late than never.
[ He wipes the back of his hand over his mouth and is about to pat Oria on the shoulder, but hesitates. Would that count as an act of aggression? He grins regardless.]
We'll just have to aim around you.
no subject
Ganymede's listening closely to all of this, but well... ]
At least no one got knocked out. I think we can be grateful about that.
[ Taking a piece of food, and deciding to pocket it. He'll use it in a bit, though, and he murmurs something like a 'thanks', before turning on his heel, beginning to move forward whenever everyone does.
Anyway, despite concerns about more potential battles, that's about all the enemies for now, given that was basically about three waves.
However, there's something awaiting for them at the end. A whisper desiring to give them a "blessing". Which is just an honesty effect, really. ]
Oh, it looks like we've reached the end. Though, I'm not feeling any different...
no subject
I don't feel anything different either. Is it some weird blessing about giving us nothing...?
no subject
Or maybe the blessing is more subtle? I suppose we'll find out in due time either way.
