[ A blessing, the croaky voice had said at the end of the dungeon, but he didn't feel blessed. Fandaniel didn't feel any different at all, actually! Well, no matter. Though he did get some... interesting loot, to say the least, and that got a laugh or two out of him in these dire times.

Interesting enough that he imagines Fai might like them instead of him, so back in Lumina Cloth, he pauses briefly at the @ home entrance of that root town, hesitant, if only for a second. Considering his last encounter with Yael... Would Fai even want to see him? Had Yael even told?

With a shake of his head, he decides to find out, and wanders on into Fine Wine in search of Fai, those awful new Fish Flops equipped. ]

[ Though after his visit to Fine Wine, he more or less flees the place to find what he hopes to be solitude in his own guild hall, which isn't the best idea, considering Fai has access to it now, too, but... ]

Welcome home, my lord, hehehe~! [ Cultist Grunty trills a welcome, waving its hooves in the air spookily -- or so it imagines so -- as Fandaniel comes stumbling in. ] Can I assist you w--?

[ And last, at last, finally, Fandaniel abandons the guild halls completely. Sensibly, he should log off, run away, get away until this blessing has faded, but he yet lingers. Where else does he even have to go? What else to do? He hadn't meant for everything to go like... this.

Log in, stare at Mithrun's body for a few minutes, run an Area, and then begin collecting what he needs for picnics and dinner parties and just... cooking! In general. It should have been fine, not this! Not this disgusting urge to spill his darkest secret to anyone he encounters!

But now his wandering has taken him out to the sky islands once more. The familiar voice on the wind he seeks has been patched out, no longer able to simply stand here and listen to her cheerful, happy laughter, asking him to come play with her. Now it's only wind... empty wind... and Fandaniel stands once more on the edge of one of the islands, staring out into the void. ]

Shoka's been wandering a bit listlessly herself - it's hard to focus on gaming when there's a corpse laying out in the open for all to see. And, to top it all off, Fandaniel's standing at the edge again, staring down into the abyss, almost as if he wishes it would swallow him.

[Well, it’s not just Cultist Grunty in the lobby. Owen had just intended to stop by Telophoroi to drop off some equipment he doesn’t need at the time being, then go on his merry way with one of his many grunties and the poodle he acquired from Hien.

[ Fai is indeed in Fine Wine, and he looks surprised to see Fandaniel there, though no other look passes across his face.

He does, however, point at his shoes and laugh. ]

[ Sadly, she's going to find out that it isn't her imagination whatsoever, though when Fananiel turns to look at her, it's silently. He dreads opening his mouth to say anything. He can feel the words already cramming up behind his desire to keep his mouth shut for once, as wild as that thought might be.

So, he simply looks at her, saying nothing, standing there on that edge of the world, wishing her to walk away. Go on, Swallow. Leave, leave and save yourself. ]

[ Hector chuckles quietly into Fandaniel's ear, but— ] Ah— [ He wasn't expecting the squeeze. His eyes flutter, his head bows slightly. Mm. Better regain at least a little composure so he can go where he's needed.

He pivots, throwing his other leg over Fandaniel's opposite hip. Arms wreathe around the smaller man's neck as his eyes, hazy from the bath and from needy arousal, settle on his, keeping eye contact as he sinks down, lowering his stiff cock onto Fandaniel's. Slowly, water ripples in serene waves as Hector begins to rock his hips for the pressure, the relief he's oh-so desperate for.

[ And that's it. He says all that quickly, stiffly, and whirls away from Owen to storm off down the hall towards the private rooms. ]

From a dungeon, yes!

[ Fandaniel replies with a laugh of his own. He'll do a little walk, sashaying about in the flippery flip flops, one fist on a hip, the other hand up in the air doing a little princess wave, showing them off in the funniest way possible. ]

I thought I might give them to you, actually... [ And that's where that sentence should have ended. Right there, right then, and he finds himself carrying on with, ] Since I won't have any need for them once the beta test is done.

[ Oh. He freezes then, rather abrupt in the motion, and then he frowns, brow furrowing. He looks... surprised? By something. ]

[ That look lingers a moment longer, then he turns away again, back to staring out into that wild blue yonder past the edge of the island. ]

My dear Swallow. [ He begins there. ] I would beg that you leave before I tell you something terrible.

[ It's all he can manage. He can already feel the need to tell her, just like with the other two, the dreadful truth of his plans for once the beta test wraps up, disastrous as it has been. ]

[ The weight of Hector settling down on him, the press of his cock against his, feels so good. It's easy to get lost in it, a quiet groan leaving him once the other man begins moving on his lap, rocking against him, hot, sensitive skin grinding together. [Ohhhh borzoi........ She does distract him for a moment, because Owen has a soft spot for borzois. She's not nearly as good as his own, but a dog is a dog.

Still, he's not going to sit around in this guild for however long it takes Fandaniel to get over whatever it is about the game that's got him in a mood this time, so he gives the borzoi a gentle pat before following Fandaniel down the hall.

Hopefully he can catch him in time, calling after him.]

And how long will I have to wait?

[ Borzois are good, good dogs, so good, but when Fandaniel's dog is left behind to instead play with Cultist Grunty — which they will, because, naturally, something in this edgy tower has to be too adorable to exist — and Fandaniel finds Owen catching up to him, he has to bite back the urge to yell at him.

Not again. No more outbursts at Owen. No, no, no, absolutely not, and so when he turns back to calmly tell Owen that he has to wait out the rest of the day, he finds himself instead telling him, just as calmly, ]

Until I off myself, I suppose. Provided the game doesn't do it for me, you'll have until the end of the beta test to wait it out.

Fai raises his own brows, caught off guard both by the statement and by the way Fandaniel furrows his brows.

[ It takes Fai a few moments to process what exactly that means, but it doesn't take long.

End things. Settle affairs. He wants to make sure there are no loose ends after he passes, doesn't he? His heart beats fast as he stays seated, still as stone. ]

[ Why? That question doesn't leave his lips, because he knows why, he knows the feelings that accompany those plans all too well.

So, what is there for him to say? Nothing, apparently. ]

[ This time Fandaniel laughs, ah, how can he not? He warned her! He really did. Maybe he should just... jump. Save them both but then she'd only demand to know why he did that, hm? ]

Yes, something dreadful. To you, anyway. Playing this ridiculous game will be the last thing I do with my life and I am so... so relieved...

[ What else is there even to say? Fandaniel watches Fai uncertainly, trying to gauge how he feels after having told him. He had laughed at Yael when telling him, but that had been pure maliciousness.

Here, it just feels... like a relief? Maybe?

He isn't sure. So that just leaves them staring at one another, silent. ]

[Oh, so it was like that.
