[The time has come... for fun! Δ Haggard Traveler's Reprieve has been decorated with all the niceties that a beach party requires - docks for fishing, large umbrellas to hide from the sun, several tables with sets of chairs for sitting and conversing, and the most obvious addition: a massive roaring bonfire with a big cooking mesh over the top of it for barbecue cookin'!

Leo's wearing a fishing hat and aviators alongside his trademark loincloth-and-nothing-else getup for maximum dissonance. From his position on the other side of the bonfire, he waves a hand at those arriving.]

Welcome to the Beach Bash! Snacks and drinks are on the tables, bottles of sunscreen and crafting tables are under the umbrellas, and complementary fishing gear are at the docks for your convenience. Have fun, friends~

[Emperor Grunty is also here, should you wish to annoy him! He's currently laying in the sand with a reflector. What? Grunties need their sun too!]

[ Tylor doesn't comment and it's hard to tell if he saw anything at all since he turns away so quickly. And he only gets stuck in one short bout of small talk. So, he returns eventually, waving his good byes and walking backwards before turning on his heel. Once he does, Ramiel gets a grin like Tylor's gotten away with something.

Casually, he sits beside Ramiel, looking back and forth like he's just back from a heist.

He makes a move like he's grabbing something from his pocket. Only, Tylor times pulling the mystery from his inventory like some kind of mmo hat trick. Ta-da! Tylor offers Ramiel a cola. Or whatever the closest thing is that they've got around here. The point is, there's been an attempt here. ]

[ Honestly, he doesn't really expect him to come back. The moment he leaves, the moment he sees him open his mouth to talk to someone else, Dosei turns back to his own work with a slight frown. Tylor's paper shoved haphazardly beneath his own, he hunches back over his work, tucking his knees up as he tries to drown out the sound of everybody else chatting away.

Whatever. He didn't expect much, anyway.

That's exactly why Dosei seems actually surprised when he hears feet on the sand and looks up to see the older man returning. It's met with a skeptical squint, to cover up his bewilderment, eyes cautiously watching his hands as they make a grab for something.

...Huh. ]

The fuck. [ He?? takes it?? But he's staring at it like it's a foreign object. ] You're nuts if you actually went all the way over there just for this.

[ This guy barely knows him, or so he thinks. That's why he doesn't crack it open right away, although he's heavily debating on it. ]

[tylorific]

Huh? What's so nuts about that?

[ Tylor asks in all genuine curiosity as his head tilts. He's closer now than he'd been before he left in search of soda, but not nearly close enough to touch even as he leans slightly and peers at the bottle in Ramiel's hands. ]

Didn't you say you like cola?

[ This guy is just- unbelievable. Frustrating, in a certain way, that has his brows furrowing deeper. Does he really have to spell it out for him. ]

I mean, yeah, I did. Normal people would just leave it at that.

[ Like, not that he isn't glad that someone is acting like a lackey and grabbing him stuff, but it's the fact he didn't even have to ask or say anything. He just...did it. Which is a surreal thing, in Dosei's opinion. ]

No point in doing shit for people who wouldn't do the same for you.

[tylorific]

Well, why not? It's not like I'm expecting anything from anyone.

[ A shrug. And the rest is said like it's the simplest truth in the world-- ]

I did it because I wanted to.

[ This guy? Cracked. Just whacked in the head. The more Dosei listens to him, the more he feels like he's getting a headache coming on. Who can live like this... ]

You've got like no self-preservation, do you.

[ Derogatory. Or positive, for him?? Who knows. He's tucking his cola away, regardless, neatly on the sand right next to his makeshift workdesk, just in case. ]

Somebody's gonna mug you with that attitude.

[tylorific]

What do you mean? Are you going to mug me for sweets and cola?

[ Tylor jokes, head in one hand. Still slightly tilted, he's looking over at Ramiel from where he's now slouched casually over to rest his elbow on his knee.

His free hand disappears behind his back, gaze steady on Ramiel. And then his hand reappears with another cola, another magic trick punctuated by a smile. This drink too gets offered up. ]

It'll stay cold if you put it in your inventory right away. You know, for later.

[aphonik]

I'd rather mug people for better stuff. [ Dosei are you /srs or /j ] But depends.

[ Not that he needs anything, really. Anything. Or that's what anybody in real life would tell him, anyway.

He's about to put pencil back to paper when Tylor opts to do his silly little clown gestures again, side-eyeing him with an unreadable look behind the mask on his face for a few moments.

Finally, he reaches down and shoves said drink in his inventory with a huff. ]

Maybe you should just go pull pigeons out of a hat for a living, instead.

[tylorific]

Oh, like what? Money?

[ He asks with sincere curiosity, as if discussing the weather instead of robbery.

The not joke might as well be one, because Tylor laughs in good humor before admitting -- ]
