[The time has come... for fun! Δ Haggard Traveler's Reprieve has been decorated with all the niceties that a beach party requires - docks for fishing, large umbrellas to hide from the sun, several tables with sets of chairs for sitting and conversing, and the most obvious addition: a massive roaring bonfire with a big cooking mesh over the top of it for barbecue cookin'!

Leo's wearing a fishing hat and aviators alongside his trademark loincloth-and-nothing-else getup for maximum dissonance. From his position on the other side of the bonfire, he waves a hand at those arriving.]

Welcome to the Beach Bash! Snacks and drinks are on the tables, bottles of sunscreen and crafting tables are under the umbrellas, and complementary fishing gear are at the docks for your convenience. Have fun, friends~

[Emperor Grunty is also here, should you wish to annoy him! He's currently laying in the sand with a reflector. What? Grunties need their sun too!]

[ Noé is curious about what's being scribbled so intensely over here, but he doesn't know if prying is really a good idea right now. What's he's more interested in is the paper itself.

He approaches Dosei, a little sheepish about interrupting, but he'll present his question nevertheless. ]

Hi. Do you have a piece of paper I can borrow?

[ Who the fuck is this clown...Dosei's head whips around as he covers up his paper, lips tugging downwards into a near scowl at being approached. one would wonder why he came here anywhere but we don't need to worry about that right now.

The request is. Unexpected. But it doesn't make him any less squinty. ]

Why. You can't get your own?

[ Most nice people would say 'sure' without much complaint. Dosei is, unfortunately, not nice people. ]

[ Plain and simple!!! He doesn't seem very fazed by Dosei's everything, though. ]

You don't have to give me any, though. You seem pretty busy with what you're making.

[ Whatever that may be...! ]

[ Oh, this guy's self-aware. That's almost impressive.

His frown dips a bit deeper at that, and for a moment there's just...silent contemplation. Mainly because no, he's not a nice person, and he really doesn't like giving people much of anything.

However.

If it'll keep Noe's eyes elsewhere, then whatever. Maybe he can see his own really shitty attempt at drawing something, too.

Another beat, and Dosei finally tugs one of his sheets of paper loose, holding it out like it's got rabies or something. ]

Fine. But that's all you're getting from me, weirdo.

[murrmoire]

[ He sure is! ... Kind of. But, Noé will take the paper from Dosei and nod. Dosei will even get a little grin! It's his lucky day!!! ]

[ But before he gets to work on his own thing... ]

[ Dosei will, unfortunately, not return the grin. It is not Noé's lucky day. ]

[ Just to drive that home. You know, normally.

Just as normal as Dosei shoving his hand further over his own paper, frown deepening at the question. ]
