Open | The Epicurians Present: The 1st of September Beach Bash!
Who ► Leo & Anyone that wishes to join!
What ► BEACH PARTY!!
When ► September 1st
Where ► Δ Haggard Traveler's Reprieve
Content Warnings ► People will be drunk. Will add to if needed
[The time has come... for fun! Δ Haggard Traveler's Reprieve has been decorated with all the niceties that a beach party requires - docks for fishing, large umbrellas to hide from the sun, several tables with sets of chairs for sitting and conversing, and the most obvious addition: a massive roaring bonfire with a big cooking mesh over the top of it for barbecue cookin'!
Leo's wearing a fishing hat and aviators alongside his trademark loincloth-and-nothing-else getup for maximum dissonance. From his position on the other side of the bonfire, he waves a hand at those arriving.]
Welcome to the Beach Bash! Snacks and drinks are on the tables, bottles of sunscreen and crafting tables are under the umbrellas, and complementary fishing gear are at the docks for your convenience. Have fun, friends~
[Emperor Grunty is also here, should you wish to annoy him! He's currently laying in the sand with a reflector. What? Grunties need their sun too!]

I've seen way too many stories about the weirder glitches to just mess around and see what happens.

( "how do you find the time to do those things and test the limits of the game" imagine logging off
Speaking of, though. He pauses, studying her - rather, her weapon. )
... Were you the one who couldn't log out?
( If true, that would also explain the aversion. )

...So what if I am?

Did the head admin speak to you during the glitch?

He seems to be able to notice tampering by sight.
( He doesn't know if it's the admin UI that allows him to do so, or just special admin avatar eyeballs or something - but if he apparently did nothing else notable with Shoka, it may be in this ballpark. )
He must not have seen anything when he looked at you.
( Which means...? Either the log out error wasn't the result of someone's tampering, or it was an issue - too broad? too deep? for him to see. )

He looked at the mirror and he said the one responsible for the mirror glitch was the same individual responsible for the level cap armor. He wouldn't elaborate further on that.

The end result is the same, though, whether it comes down to a can't or won't: he doesn't offer information, even when users need it. )
Users can stop playing if they want to. ( Unless you're Shoka and the log out button denies you. rip ) CC Corp probably doesn't take use distress seriously because of that. It probably makes for interesting data collection, even if none of this may be intended.
( May be. There's always a chance that not all of this is as unintended as the administrators want them to think - or, as unintended as the administrators think it is. Hien is subject to the same effects as users, and Zelkova may not exist offline. They can't be that vital to the CC Corp hierarchy, and may think they're here to carry out a more legitimate job than their employers-slash-creators intend for them.
But that's just a theory... a game theory. Mithrun's had way too much time to speculate while fishing. )
