So! [ tone shift. ] This could be very dangerous. But I doubt it since these glitches always seem to run after being discovered.

[ Albedo remembers seeing that posted on the network, he thinks, and he has vaguely scrolled over it, thinking of a response, though only ended up reading to see what everyone said instead. ]

'Run'? It sounds like you're implying that the glitch is, instead of being properly fixed, purposely 'disappearing' instead after such occurences.

Someone would have to run a dungeon back to back to know for sure, but... it's strange these glitches are never mentioned in any patches if they're actually being fixed by the dev team.

[So, whatever's happening, she doesn't think it's CC Corp itself dealing with them.]

--Oh, uh. I don't mind if nobody else does? [She looks at Hani and Albedo.] If it is still dangerous, then more people means we can cover each other better.

I think Swallow-kun would be an excellent addition. Did you see the way she compiled the notes on classes about - [ they can almost say this part without reacting at all. ] - Mithrun-kun's glitched death?

I don't think any of these glitches will get patched. Every indicident seems like another step in a much bigger plan.

[ and with that, they'll zone into a thunderstorm. the field itself is lush and overgrown, wet with large puddles and mud. ]

But, it's fine. There are worse things to start a dungeon run with. ]

It seems up to us to figure out their 'plan', as it were.

Soon enough, there's gonna be three Mimics coming at the party. Albedo immediately focuses his attack on one, but with his level it is going to take a little bit to whittle down HP. ]

[Eh, that's fine. She's a level 50 player, after all. So, don't mind her leaping in as a Flick Reaper and firing off a Heavenly Wheel to catch all three Mimics in a single spinning sweep.]

C'mon, is that all you've got?

[Well, then she offers Shoka a smile and a party invite. And then it's in they go, to a thunderstorm.

They're all here to carry Albedo. Shoka gets in the middle of getting all of them, so Dehya runs to flank the left side and bash her broadsword into that one.] Watch your step!

[Because it would really suck if someone slipped and fell in the middle of a fight.]

[ yeah, apparently the puddles are really deep so the shorties should watch out - albedo. shoka vibrates tall energy, so she's probably okay. ]

MeAni Kruz - [ echoes dramatically as all the caster spells do, trapping all their enemies in darkness - or something. hani doesn't really know what this spell does as it's their first time using it. but it sure is fun to say. ]

How do these enemies feel so far? [ hani thinks they feel rather normal, but maybe that's just them?? ]

I haven't noticed any differences on my end. Though, it could be that we would need to see how it would feel if an enemy lands a hit on our person.

[ With all of these barrage of attacks, the three Mimics aren't having time to retaliate. They're about down to half-HP already.

Albedo's focusing on the one earlier, exercising a well-timed Cross Slash to help in further stunning/bringing down HP. ]

Steakboy's a tank, so makes sense that he took some hits. We don't really have someone like that on our team, though.

[Because she sure as hell isn't volunteering herself, continuing to swipe at the enemies with the full intent of killing them and avoiding any hits she can.]

Well--he said aggressive, right? They don't seem meaner. [Mean, but that's to be expected. Anyway, they don't have a tank but they do have three melee fighters and one is level 1 so Dehya's sure they can't actually avoid getting hit every time. Still, she swipes out a Koranshuu to try and take the last of their HP down.] Let's focus on clearing the dungeon like normal and see how it gets further in.

[ and just when hani was about to suggest playing rock-paper-scissors to figure out which of them would act as the striking dummy - for science, obviously - dehya comes up with a reasonable plan. if it works, it works, they guess. ]

[ the mimics perish, and that’s one group down. two more (?) to go. first they’ll have to make it to the castle walls up ahead. ]

But I don’t mind being bait if we need someone who can take hits. Probably not Calx-kun though!

[ watch him explode if they breathe too hard in his direction. ]

[ He opens his mouth, but then he closes it when he remembers his HP bar is too small. He'd die too fast to be able to judge the difference, he imagines.

...I suppose I'd likely expire too fast, in that case.

[ He is being hard carried by a team of strong non-binary folk and bad-ass women, yep. Heading towards those castle walls, tho. ]

That said, as the highest level melee in the group, she'll just go ahead and move to the front of their little crew and press on.]

If it comes to that, then someone with the highest level and defense is the best choice. [But if the monsters are aggressive, Dehya doubts they'll get on without suffering any hits.

Still, she looks at Calx.] These guys would probably turn you into paste in one hit, so how about you bring up the rear and keep an eye out for anything weird?

[ what awaits them as they pass through the castle walls are two (2) grand electrics, aka evil wizards, though none of them have the lightning bolt mark on their foreheads to prove it. what a sham.

there's also one (1) mimic because calx willed it into existence. ]

Abracadabra - Oh. I mean - MeGan Rom!! [ as always, hani rushes into danger with no sense of self-preservation because they simply don't need it. uh, but they thought wizards would be weak to rocks?? maybe that's just witches.

anyway, their spell does next to nothing. but! now they have the attention of all the enemies. ]

Maybe Calx-kun can be our strategist and shout out orders from the back.

Well, I can't certainly expect to always get some kind of reward without risk.

[ Albedo states calmly to Shoka, proving about just the level of his self-preservation.

But at Dehya's suggestion and also at Hani as they unleash a spell of their own, he gives a small nod, and adds: ]

...That I can very much do. I don't have any advice or observations right now other than it should be easy to defeat the enemy spellcasters long range than not.

[ But, he imagines the more experienced folk already knew that. He also does well to ensure he doesn't miss anything strange in their environment. ]

[Swapping to Blade Brandier in a flash and using Ani Revolver to execute a mutli-slash combo on all three at once, racing to beat them down asap.]

[There Hani goes... with a very ineffective spell.. Absently to Albedo:] Great, leave you to it then!

[And then she's charging forward to help deal with the enemies, leveling a Calamity on one of the wizards to disarm it.]

[ not one to let anything stop them, hani fires off a mejuk kruz, which hopefully is not a lightning spell! they don’t know; they’ve never used this spell before.

and i don’t know either bc this is a phone tag and hover text doesn’t work.

but everything’s okay because all the responsibility has been shoved on calx. ]

[ Shoka really is trying her best here.

But wow look at all of those leaves assaulting them, you could swear that the enemies were probably wishing they should shout, "LEAF ME ALONE!"

But they can't. At least one of the wizards is, well, they're magic spellcasters, but all in all the various discrepancy in levels is certainly a thing. Yet, focusing a hit on the wizard from earlier helps by a lot (thanks Dehya) One of the enemies (a wizard) goes down, leaving just the annoying Mimic and the Grand Electric. ]

I believe it's only a matter of keeping up the heat.

[ So to speak. ]

[She'll use Reaper's Touch on the remaining Grand Electric, hoping it crits to take it out immediately.]

[Whatever helps Albedo feel useful. While Shoka attacks the Grand Electric, Dehya diverts to the mimic to knock it out quickly as the weaker opponent. Then it'll be easier for all of them to focus on the last of if need be.]

hani is happy to oblige, a swift cast of their fire spell, the name echoing off the walls dramatically. the mimic just barely dodges the brunt of it. ]
