[ Oriade just has his default outfit with a flintlock pistol that looks a little too big for him, but he's using it effectively anyway. He just watches Fandaniel kill everything in sight. Honestly, the flesh walls kinda make him feel sick and considers sending a feedback report that Fragment should be rated M. ]

Hey, aren't you running out of SP?

[ He actually feels concerned. He feels like Fandaniel won't hesitate to smack the enemies with his tome too, once he runs out of SP. Oriade spins the gun by the trigger guard, waiting for any opportunities to kill any other enemies that spring up at them that Fandaniel won't catch. ]

Flesh walls, again?

[ Tylor mumbles it, but before he even has the chance to try and tank for him, Fandaniel is already off draining his SP. So he just follows casually with his fingers laced behind his head like they aren't walking through a dungeon. He's learned things will auto equip with ability use so why carry a heavy polearm all the time?

To himself, he mutters loud enough for everyone to still hear-- ]

Wow, he really is in a bad mood.

[ Tylor decides to linger near Hani (and presumably Oriade too), ready to steal aggro from any potential leftover enemies. ]

[ somehow, hani has killed (?) enough enemies in this game and actually Done Things to level up to 25 and have a decent set of equipment. ]

Tylor-kun, look! The cycle we talked about has continued. What do you all think? Are we giving these enemies purpose?

[ also look at this! ]

Flaming... Cocktail! [ that's them tossing a cocktail at the squidbods and then casting GiVak Don to spread the flames even further. there's no friendly fire in this game, right? right?? ]

It's so nice to have new spells, isn't it?

[ Wow, it's some kind of weird insane caster party up in here, ain't it? ]

The only... purpose... [ GiRue Kru, GiRue Kru, GiRue Kru, GiRue Kru. ] These things have... is to die!

[ And die they do. Between Fandaniel and Hani, this has become a wild mess with no strategy whatsoever. It may not go too well if they finally run up against something stronger than the rampant armored squids. That said, Oriade isn't wrong. Fandaniel's SP bar is ticking down steadily until something completely different crashes its way out of some of the flesh in the wall and lashes out with a sword at him.

He attempts to strike out with GiRue Kru one more time only to be met by the inevitable error message of "Out of SP" flashing across his field of vision. ]

...ah.

[ Well then. He's in danger. ]

[ And that's his cue. With Triple Doom and Thorn Shot, Oriade successfully sends three quick shots to distract the enemy and a final shot to crit and stagger them momentarily. ]

Tylor!

[ Please tank for Fandaniel, is what he's trying to communicate with that single name alone. He's also not going to say the name in full because that's embarrassing. ]

[ Tylor beams over his shoulder at Hani-- ]

Well, I'd say so! They're here to help us cure a whole curse. I feel even more sorry for our moody friend than the monsters today.

[ He looks! And makes a delighted sound at Hani's display, even giving a little clap after. But as they move along, he positions himself farther ahead of Hani and Oriade. His gut says Fandaniel can't keep up wasting all his SP like that. It's not intentional that he lets him sweat a moment while Tylor bounds happily toward his duty as a tank. ]

On it! [ Truthfully, he's already moving, but he spares a wave to Oriade and Hani as he goes. ]

Finally, something to-- [ His hands are empty, but he swings his arms as if his spear is already there. Brandish materializes his super spear just in time for it to hit his target and pull aggro to him. ] do.

You should really be more careful.

[ Tylor says it to Fandaniel with Genuine concern, using thorn dance to skewer whatever the monster thing is while he's here. ]

Oh, I'll have to tell Gani-kun that someone agrees with him about the monsters.

[ hani waves justy off with a warm smile. well! it's just them and oriade in the back now. ]

Everything alright, Master? Do you need a heal - or a drink? [ either option would be understandable. they turn and hold out a cocktail to oriade, too. y'know, in case he wanted to drink and/or to use it as a weapon.

huh? drinking age? what's that? ]

What's the point of being careful if nothing here even matters?

[ Fandaniel grouchily snaps back at Tylor, though he certainly doesn't wait to duck behind the man and let him tank once he finally decides to dive in. That was closer than he would have liked but... It is his own fault, truly, so he doesn't snap at Tylor further. He snaps his tome shut and decides to drift to the back of the party with Oriade and let his SP recover.

It's a blessed relief, a break from the cacophony of screams coming from his weapon. Hearing them die over and over again, his parents, his baby sister. He isn't alright but he will reel his temper back in to offer Hani a politer — if somewhat terse — reply of, ]

I'm fine. [ A beat passes before he decides to add, ] Do not worry about me. Focus on keeping our tank alive.

[ Oriade would prefer to be in the front despite being a backline DPS, but he opts to stay back with Fandaniel for now, waiting for his SP to recover little by little... if the party stops pulling aggro. He doesn't have any SP recovery items.

He can still enact some crowd control, so he just does that to group them together slowly by forcing their direction of movement by shooting at appropriate places. ]

You need a weapon, so you need to stay alive for the reward.

[ That's what Fandaniel came to the dungeon for, right? Oriade understands regarding the weird sets that were given out. His entire set makes him feel so tired mentally, but it is what it is. ]

The path looks clear after this wave, so let's run for it once they're dead!

[ Tylor isn't fazed by the snappiness. Even if he wasn't distracted trying to keep things from killing the snapper.

Also, he can't relate to issues with the special sets, as his inky black armor shifts and changes like the evening sky instead of murder cries. If the game thought reminding him of his parents and the stars would negatively impact his performance, they were wrong. Not that anyone probably noticed his armor because I forgot to mention it until now-- it also changed with his shift to Lord Partizan. He's energized by his own look and the practice he's gotten in since his first few area explorations.

Tylor turns around to thumbs up at Oriade, as he starts to move their last enemies into a good spot for the mages not to accidentally kill him too. ]

What's there to worry about? We're a good team.

[ the reminder from fandaniel is nice, but hani has been keeping an eye on justy since the beginning. more often than not, their eyes drift his way to share a smile or a laugh. silliness seems to be contagious.

and despite their attitude, their raid awareness is decent. probably what happens when one is nosy and interested about too many things all at once. everything just catches their eyes, wow! justy seems to have the mobs in a good spot, so if fandaniel and oriade are both in the clear, then a good combo will probably finish off the pack.

hani whips out their weapon and sends out a sharp cast of flames. givak don, less effective without the alcohol to help it. which is fine. it's prep. a flick of their staff and another cast - merue rom - to douse the fire and shock the enemies with the hot and sudden flash of vapors. it's a crit!

did that do it? ]

[ Oriade earns a peeved glower from Fandaniel, thankfully obscured due to the nature of his current hood, but he is right. He needs a tome to replace this one or he'll be stuck using a low-level one in its stead. It was only the puny damage offered by his pre-25 weapon that him reluctantly keeping the one from the set equipped. If he can only make it through... ]

Fine. I suppose that does matter.

[ The agreement is begrudging at best and when just enough SP has ticked up for another spell of two, Fandaniel isn't one to be left out. He follows up Hani's spells with a thunderous MeRai Kruz. Normally, that wouldn't do much against Earth enemies, but the dousing Hani gave them apparently forces the matter with electrocution.

That does it... for now... and from the bodies of the mobs that poof away, something else rears its small and adorable equine head. A whinny rips through the air and a tiny horse begins dashing about all over the corridor, towards them, then around them, darting between their legs, tempting someone to give chase and, perhaps, to give it a boot. ]

Oh for the love of... Not another of those things.

[ Fandaniel, for one, is not kicking another tiny creature. He had bad luck with the last he met! ]

[ As long as he understands! When they get through the horde of monsters and look over at the lucky animal, Oriade looks at Fandaniel, Hani, and then Tylor.

Steam gunners are relatively fast, so Oriade runs off in an attempt to kick it. How can you see that and just NOT kick it—he wants this satisfaction. Let him have it.

He does this despite never having a good run so far. Yolo. ]

Yeah we are! We should really party more often!

[ Tylor raises his voice over the sounds of spells and killing. It feels natural to catch Hani's eyes as he keeps an eye on his team. Their smile, Tylor returns more often than not as he taunts the mobs to and fro. Light on his feet, faster than a Partizan yet slower than a Tribal Grappler, there is a natural bounce in his step even as the odd strike lands and chips at his relatively high health bar.

Even when he slips, or nearly falls right on his face, he keeps going with a laugh or a peace sign thrown high for his ranged party members. Clearly, the Bad Mood Curse is not contagious.

Once the hordes are cleared, Tylor blinks at the chibi equine development. Oriade seems to have that handled, so he'd rather go plop down near the other two. ]

Oh, how cute! [ To noone in particular, but certainly loud enough for everyone-- ] Huh, does it want to get kicked? I wonder why.

Another one, Master? What neat thing did you get from the last one?

[ hani tugs on justy’s sleeve lightly to let him know they’re about heal him. hold still for a moment, please. murmuring “thank you and good job, tylor-kun,” they quietly cast ul repth.

it’s a good thing they’re distracted by chatter and healing because otherwise they’d join oriade and the lucky animal - but, uh, not as a fellow kicker. so yeah, y’know. ]

And, of course, thank you to Master and Oriade-kun, too. [ oriade is busy kicking cute things, so only fandaniel gets a little clap from hani. ]

Perhaps, it’s another question of purpose? Its purpose is to be kicked. I think that qualifies as “BDSM”?

[ glancing at fandaniel. did they use the term correctly? ]

A neat thing that I wished had happened to FlameMane instead. The cat variety will half your stats if given the boot it so desires.

[ Though with Oriade dashing about after the quick little pony, all they get is delayed, delayed from being able to unequip this terrible book, and while he did say he wouldn't attempt to PK anyone on this run, the horse isn't a player. ]

And while normally I would make light of such a question, Tabibito, I think all this qualifies as a nuisance.

[ And that means, rather than merely waiting and letting Oriade kick the poor thing, Fandaniel gestures towards Sleipnir and, with a snap of his fingers ~~that he certainly isn't stealing from anyone from his canon no no~~ throws out one last thunderbolt with his MeRai Kruz spell to kill it outright instead. ]

[ Oriade lets out a startled noise when he was just about to kick it but then this thunderbolt came out of nowhere-- ]

Hey!! This better mean you're giving me kicking rights!

[ Kicking his ass, maybe. But after Sleipnir is gone, he makes his way back to the party. ]

[ Tylor's weapon unequips at the tug of his sleeve. He turns to them and stills, smiling with a-- ] Oh, thank you. What a useful spell! [ He is content to let it work its digital magic, restoring his health and pulling a contented sigh out of him like they're relaxing after a day's hard labor. He follows Hani's glance toward Fandaniel. ]

Well, that doesn't sound like a very nice cat. And who's FlameMane? [ There is a short window to respond his question, before he is pointing to Hani

Also yes, this is all said completely innocently: ] I'm pretty sure BDSM is less anyone's purpose and more about fun. Liking a spanking doesn't mean your only purpose in life is to be spanked, right?

[ There was a fifty-fifty on that thing helping or harming. Not knowing which, Fandaniel made an executive decision, that's all! Although Oriade yelling at him over it... does earn a laugh, at least. ]

[ But he's already on the move again, even going as far as to try to snag Tylor by the collar of his armor and drag him along — expecting him to scramble to get up — as he follows Hani into the next fleshy section of the dungeon. Ahead, a cavernous heart chamber, complete with everything pumping like a beating heart itself.

Whoever designed the flesh dungeons should really be fired. ]

Tabi... [ He is seriously considering if someone gave their fourteen-year-old kid their account to play in their stead when it comes to this guy. ] I highly doubt either of us wants anyone to have those rights.

Oh, I will--

[ Then he hears what Hani says and he just. Stops. And stares at Hani.

Fandaniel is right. Oriade doesn't want those rights. Cancel them all. No rights allowed. ]

[ Tylor, still beside Hani, helpfully adds-- ]

Hello up there! Nice to meet you! I hope you're ready for a fight because - GiVak Don! [ their spell echoes through the fleshy cavern as flames rapidly spread toward the humanoid enemies. something something tanks are supposed to pull first, but whatever, this is more fun! ]

If kicking were just "spanking with your foot", it would be called spanking, not kicking.

[ Fandaniel can only pray that puts an end to it. Since Hani doesn't ask anything else BDSM or spanking related immediately, well, it's likely time to move on with their spankless lives. He lets go of Tylor once they're in the next room and gives him a shove forward.

Then he whirls towards another pack of Cannibals that have been drawn in by Hani's display of DPS trying to tank. He switches to BiJuk Rom now that there's more space around them, the area attack whirling up with a blast of wind and leaves to cut the enemies up. ]

With a full party of capped players, the dungeons are really a joke, huh?
