The seconds tick on. They near turn to minutes. You can't struggle, you can't argue— you can only simply be, and it occurs to you that maybe you'll be trapped midway here, conscious, for maybe forever.

...Macha's been targeting me. He hit me with a direct attack, and then he made Oriade and Aki- ...Deto attack me.

Oriade ended up shooting Deto, so he died. And for some reason, Macha made Kara drag Deto's body to him. After that, he... [Ate? Consumed?] ...absorbed Deto's body.

[If he just wipes the feelings away, they can't hurt him. So, why can't he get them to stop?

Taking in a breath to steady himself, he pushes himself to his feet and casts Ola Repth to give people a chunk of health back faster than relying on just regen.]

...Oriade's special armor has a skill that lets him put his target in a temporary death state for about 15 minutes. It activates automatically when he uses a normal bullet and sometimes activates with skills. Deto isn't dead.
