( Perhaps intrigued by the mail allegedly sent by CC Corp, perhaps visiting the Shoreline by chance, gating into the Area goes as it always does, until the music stays cut for longer than it should, and the black, liminal transition screen lingers for a little too long. The seconds tick on. They near turn to minutes. You can't struggle, you can't argue— you can only simply be, and it occurs to you that maybe you'll be trapped midway here, conscious, for maybe forever.

And then you hear static. Your vision warps; pixels strain into words, blurred and unstable. You see them combat for your attention; you see— )

[ Macha seems immune to damage at the moment, but Oria, who is still stuck in that literal bloody chest, is not. He takes damage, and maybe a bit too much than expected? His HP instantly plummets below 50% from that alone when he was pretty healthy earlier, due to the devastating water weakness his special armor gave him. He's finally free of being Charmed.

He also tries to free himself, using the splashed water to his advantage, so that the water isn't a total disadvantage to him--he's successful (16)! He barely makes it to the rest of them after falling off the ball. He'll also just casually ignore Michel and Leo's bodies for now (Oria knows the deaths are fake, but still, it's rough seeing them dead like this). ]

( Though Ramiel's strike lands, it predictably receives Invulnerable! Too well-loved to be struck! feedback. Oria, though, is not so protected, and by the time he recognizes Oria's wriggling as a means to escape, Oria's already gone— not that Macha had held on all that tightly, anyway.

He always lets the people he likes slip through his fingers, somehow. )
