Shoka brings along food from the various food stalls and mall restaurants for the after party this time. Plenty of variety, and surely enough to take some with for later meals, thanks to the convenience of their inventories.]

...Fandaniel's confirmed as a Wave. And... Barrett told me Cubia probably got to 0koto, too. But he doesn't want us to engage.

...It sounds like even if Cubia's gotten in his head, 0koto's pretty set on killing Cubia himself.

[ She's not even remotely surprised that Fandaniel turned out being a Wave, and for as much as she'd like to tear him apart at the moment, she will leave that to other people. As for 0koto... ]

Set on killing Cubia...as a potential Wave? I thought the Waves were always meant to obey him?

That's what I thought, too. Either Cubia isn't brainwashing him as much as the others, or he's got a hell of a willpower to resist it.

That, or he's just straight up lying, I guess.

That's pretty strange. I've always been under the impression that 0koto's had his own agenda, but I didn't realize such a thing could resist Cubia's temptation...

Me neither. At this point, I'm just kind of guessing.

Then again, I guess one of the waves in the poem is the "Mirage of Deceit." Maybe he's trying to deceive us into thinking he's on our side?

You could be right. I wouldn't put it past him to use that to his advantage.

[ A beat. Her voice goes a little quieter. ]

For what it's worth... I really do think we're on the right track. We seem to be able to save people pretty consistently as-is. Just...

If someone's already dead... there's no coming back from that.

Yeah. I think...the people who went are taking it really hard.

[ If Ganymede is here, she'll just quickly glance over at him before looking back at Shoka. Kara is pretty devastated herself, but she'll be okay. ]

Do you know who the remaining two might be? I know Hien and Nanashi were among those cursed by Lily.

[ And, well, there's one other person who's been affected by Lily that she is not going to name. ]

I don't know much about either of them, so honestly? I have no idea. The only other person I suspected was Fandaniel, and now that he's confirmed it, I'm out of leads.

Fair enough. I'm in the same boat as you.

[ She shrugs. She's got no other guesses thus far. ]

Not like there's really much we can do until they decide to challenge us, anyway. I'm not on board with Mithrun's suggestion of killing them once they're confirmed.

Yeah. It was a close call during Gorre's fight, but...

Three out of four is still pretty good, all things considered. If we mess with the formula, it might not work out the way the first three did.

As if he's smart enough for that.

[ Ganymede isn't using any real logic for this. He's just here I guess in the background and while he is happy about the results of one boss, it's been a very long week for all of them.

[ Ganymede doesn't mean them; that others can find out and kill the waves before they transform but feel free to have it taken any which way.

He's sitting down for the record but he looks real pissy and like he doesn't want to be here. But thank Shoka for that instead of him fighting uselessly with Fandchell. ]

Yeah. Guess we'll just have to wait and see how it all shakes out.

But for now? Our best bet is to rest and recoup until the next fight. I'm sure it'll be time before we even know it.

[ At least he's not getting up all that much. Seems he's taking the rest and recoup seriously. To an extent.

He will be at some point getting a drink at least. ]

...I was also wondering if you were getting a little tired. I know we're all going to need to keep pushing through, anyway. But, checking in with each other constantly will help too, I think.

I mean, sure I'm tired, but pretty sure it's the same amount of tired as literally everyone else here.

I know that, but that's why I'm asking.

When everyone else is suffering, we only have ourselves to check in on each other. Even if it might not be effective...we can't forget to do that.

[ Even if Ganymede is still reeling from his own loss, he wants to be there for the others he cares about too.

So that no one feels alone, even when surrounded by a crowd. ]
