A year to move back. Not stay cooped up for a year. Chiba and Tokyo are basically the same area, so don’t think you’ll get away with being a shut-in.

Shops and NPCs. But the NPCs here aren't as interesting as the ones in Naval Monte.

The ones at Naval Monte have their own lives and schedules, and they'll even invite you home for dinner and tell you about their adventures! You have to pay some GP to get in, though.
