Dungeon Run: Croaking Ruined Two Wings
He isn't exactly too keen on having an incredibly large party, but he isn't against a small one either. Either way, by the time some talks or casual chats are to be had, he finds himself with two other unfamiliar faces. Not many of his fellow colleagues or co-workers indulge much in such things, and for good reason. They haven't the time.
But right now, he certainly has a lot of it. So, as "Calx", Albedo turns to both Owen and Noe. ]
Shall we?
[ After that, he will just begin to stride along forward, assuming he's going to receive a positive reply. ]
no subject
He keeps those thoughts to himself for once, crossing his arms over his chest. He holds his fans in one hand, ready for combat but aware this dungeon will be scaled for his party members so he's not in much danger.]
Not going to wait for an answer, huh?
[Well. Suit yourself, Calx.]
no subject
It's not too tough, and I don't think I had too much of a hard time on my first run. If we're good about it, Owen won't have to do much at all!
[ He grins at Owen before catching up to Calx. ]
no subject
That's just as well if so. I hadn't the opportunity to pursue any of these party runs on my own time.
Seeing as you two have some experience, I will have to take what either of you have to say at your word.
[ ...Which confirms that he doesn't think he will have to wait too long for preparation's sake (he still thinks of it as a mere game on some levels), though it is telling he doesn't run too far ahead of the two.
Probably a good thing too, since there are two enemies crawling out of the wood work. Two Deadly Presents. Already, the blond will be stabbing towards one of them. Battle start! ]
no subject
None of them are all that complicated, so I wouldn't sweat it so much.
[There's no big final boss waiting to stomp on them at the end, unless they get incredibly unlucky... But he doubts they've patched in any super monsters yet.]

Dungeon Run: Wandering Destiny's Phantom
Albedo finds himself on another dungeon run.
He isn't exactly a busy body, nor is he a fan of large crowds, so somehow...he manages to get accosted by a stranger for some adventuring, or something like that?? It's all good here.
Nothing hideous temperature-wise. In fact, the whole strange murky forest environment feels welcoming in the creepy horror movie sense. But maybe most people won't think that, even when it is evident the entrance to true dungeon lies in the heart of the forest. ]
Quite an intriguing-looking dungeon we've stumbled upon, haven't we?
no subject
It's beautiful, don't you think? Does this type of dungeon suit your taste?
no subject
The aesthetic does suit my preferences well.
In addition, it also just so happens that there aren't any drawbacks to the aspects of the current environment.
[ Or perhaps that's just a matter of opinion. But, no overabundance of heat, or cold, right? Not that he seems to have encountered either. ]
no subject
[ but the rain is nice, too! hani starts casually walking forward, with patient expectation that calx will fall into step with them. ]
no subject
It'd depend on the circumstances behind the precipitation. If it's just light rainfall, I imagine it wouldn't be much of a drawback to contend with.
[ Time to start walking then...up ahead waiting for them, shrouded in the forest are two Phantom Wings. Using the fog as cover, they try to ambush the two right away. Albedo's caught off guard, bringing up his sword to slice at one after being hit with at least windy smack. ]

ΔHidden Forbidden Radiation Experimentation
Once he's here, Albedo looks like he normally does, but a bit more enthused, because experiments!! Fun times let's goooo! ]
Now, as we all understand, our foremost purpose is to utilize the explosives to get rid of the bridge so that the rubble will make it easier for those looking to cross below don't have to swim.
As it is, some of the bridge is already missing, and we're simply taking more off of it, though not all of it in its entirety. Understood?
no subject
He has an Aesthetic and he's clearly committing to it.]
...
Wait, explosives?!
[WAS THAT PART OF THE PLAN???]
no subject
Mm. The water made me freeze for 24 hrs after I left the dungeon. I think avoiding that again would be good for everyone.
no subject
[ Oria looks around. He's not looking forward to dying of fall damage and then freezing in-game and irl for 24 hours.
Anyway, he has some bombs that he's also dropping. Nanashi and Albedo can take half of what he drops, since he assumes Sinclair will have his own batch...
Before he forgets, he sends a friend request to Nanashi. ]
no subject
Don't worry, since you're a healer, all you need to do is stand a distance from the blast radius and you'll be fine.
[ Then back to Oria, he adds: ]
Yes, if we were the blow off the rest of the remaining bridge, that would be dangerous. But some of it will do just fine, won't it?

Naval Monte: Potenta scienta est
After all, there's still things to take care of. Such as finding more information about the world. It is only now that such 'tests' and 'obtaining knowledge' is now something done with a bit more urgency than before.
Albedo sends a request to Oria, telling him to meet up in Naval Monte for their little "test". Once the other arrives, he will turn to him, not with any semblance of worry, but curiosity.
He hasn't neared to where they'd need to sail, so still out of anybody else's hearing, he says: ]
It's good of you to come. I was thinking we could choose one of those more solitary?
[ Thanks for helping him plot out an attempted murder, Oria. ]
no subject
Truthfully, he forgot about this test because so much happened between those days both offline and online that he's still having a hard time being the usual genki he plays himself up to be. It'll be great to take things off his mind! And why not do it with some calculated NPC murder attempts in the name of science? ]
All the peddlers and merchants are grouped together...
[ ... ]
Should we lure out one of the hungrier ones with food? Or with GP?
no subject
Albedo might have conversely remembered it keenly due to the situation itself. Though he doesn't and would not have blamed Oria for forgetting. ]
Hmm...GP might do the trick. Food could work, but I have noticed that there is a far receptive reaction when money is involved. Perhaps because any number of things can be bought with it if they have enough of it.
Beyond other potentials...we could begin raising the amount until we get our desired action. The idea would be to lure them out and back across the waters, so we can take a trip in and back out to where the Chaos Gate is—thereby leaving open an option for a quick exit if it becomes necessary.
How does that sound?
[ Planning a killing attempt and a getaway option. More likely than you think! ]
no subject
[ Oria nods. He gets the plan and gives Albedo an "ok" sign with his hand. He is very okay with this plan despite how they're basically planning a murder. It's fine. This person isn't real. ]
Let's see... who looks most susceptible?
no subject
Let's take the ferry across and find out, shall we?
[ Assuming that they do, who appears to be available? Shop owners, the usual gathering of people maybe.
But what about the straggler or two that's milling near one of the homes?? There's people like that too, right? If so, Albedo points in that direction. ]
I did not get a notif for this I'm sorry

Mac Anu: Is it alright to pick up NPCs in a Root Town?!
Albedo hasn't stopped messing around with NPC nonsense. Why? Because people in pursuit of the truth must do what they can to undercover hidden secrets.
...Anyway, all that aside, he turns to his current trustable companion, Noé, with a tilt of his head. ]
I believe this should be simple enough. We go through each Root Town, pick up an NPC and see how far we can get with carrying them in our arms.
Though, it'll be likely a bit easier for you to perform the heavy lifting, considering.
[ His, well. Manlet status. ]
Lum....
[ He isn't against it, but...Calx...what is the reason for this. ]
I can help, but is this some sort of limit test?
nyoro~n
[ Albedo states with a neutral look on his face and so seriously he does on purpose to see if it makes Noé believe him. Then there might be a little smile which vanishes with the wind soon after it appears. ]
...But, yes. It is a limit test.
I'm glad I can depend on your assistance. Now, how about...that one?
[ He points towards one of the shopkeepers. ]
no subject
Noé looks over at the shopkeeper. ]
I'll be back.
[ And in less than a minute, Noé returns with a thrashing shopkeeper hauled over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. ]
Okay, now what?
no subject
Albedo makes no surprised or put off expression at the fact the shopkeeper is trying to fight from being carried wherever. ]
To the Chaos Gate. Provided the NPC is still with you when we reach, we'll next see if we can transport them in-between Root Towns.
[ Though, tbh the NPC will disappear before they even get to the Chaos Gate. Not that they know that. ]
