"Over all the hilltops
Is quiet now,
In all the treetops
Hearest thou
Hardly a breath;
the birds are asleep in the trees:
Wait, soon like these
Thou too shalt rest."

At least you're trying. That's already a lot better than most people.

[ Oria smiles and lightly taps Sinclair's nose. Boop. ]

So yeah, that's Cethin. The other boat...

[ ...

Oria keeps his smile, but this one seems a little more confused as if he's not sure how to feel.
]

You remember the check I sent you?

... Yeah.

[ Oria pauses, because he's still gathering the method of how he should explain this in his head. It'll be the first time that he will be willingly revealing this to someone else. While it fills him up with dread because he's never done this before, he pulls Sinclair closer to him to try and negate that feeling.

...
]

It's my second account.

[ Under a fake name, but he feels like he doesn't need to say that. Anything sure is possible when you have a shit ton of money. ]

But surely, the person named "Satria" existed at some point, because they did. He's been unpersoned, but I've been living in his shadow ever since he was born.

[ He looks down to meet Sinclair's eyes with his own that are still struggling in wondering how to connect words when it's usually so easy. ]

He was supposed to be my dead twin brother.

[ Oria leans a little into Sinclair's hand as if to have a little reprieve from this difficult topic. It's really one thing if this game forcefully showed it to others, but talking about it by choice still feels daunting, even if he's halfway there and that Sinclair is right here, giving him support. This is a test of will and trust for a secret that Oria thought he would be taking to the grave. His family, his mother, will be undoubtedly upset if they ever found that he told anyone willingly. Oria hasn't told them the incident regarding the mirrors either, but this will be the greatest offense he's ever done against his family— ]

I resented him. Funny, since he was dead right out of the womb and erased like he never existed. I can be petty, but being that petty? Against a barely finished fetus? That would be like a whole new level. But I figured... even if there's always one person mourning him, I should give him a proper send off.

[ He quietly breathes in. ]

Mom was looking forward to Satria, because he was a boy. And I...

[ It would be easy to guess the context from here, but Oria tries so very hard to spit it out. He's almost there. He just needs to finish. He wants to finish. Oria came all this way, so he might as well.

But it's so hard.

Oria hardly mentions his own weaknesses, even if they seem mundane. In the 2000s, if word of this got out, he would be a social pariah—even worse since he's supposed to be maintaining that certain image of perfectionism in every way.

Even so, Sinclair deserves the truth, so Oria wants to finish what he wants to say.
]

... wasn't.

[ For the first time in his life, he feels liberated.

This changes nothing.

In any other context, this would be dreadful to hear, but right now? This? From Sinclair? It means the world. Perhaps it's because it's been from one emotional thing to another, but Oria finally, finally, breaks down and cries for the first time in eight years despite everything that happened in them. The tears are slow and Oria is quiet, just letting them flow down and between Sinclair's fingers. The tears that were meant to be let out eight years ago pour as steady droplets down his face.

He's finally enough for someone.

[ The affection with the words makes the tears ongoing, still ever so quiet. His shoulders tremble a little before he reaches out with both arms to pull Sinclair close and hug him tightly. ]

Stop it... you're gonna keep making me cry.

[ He doesn't know what to say to that. It's his response in an attempt to try and come back down from the high emotions that he feels right now, but even so... He feels very loved right now. ]

[ Oria grumbles a little, but it's not out of annoyance. He knows though. It's not a bad thing to cry. Oria always lets people have a good cry when they can. He knows how important crying is for catharsis.

But that's even more of a reason why he stopped crying years ago, just for it to happen again now.
]

Silly... I love you too. A lot.

[ Oria squeezes Sinclair briefly in his hold before letting go. He's not sure if Sinclair will though, so he just stays there regardless. ]

"Shining brighter than anyone else," huh...

[ He's done crying for now, and probably for a long, long time again. He has glasses on, so it's. A time. ]

Cheesy. Absolutely cheesy.

[ He huffs a little, but smiles a bit anyway. ]

[ Oria returns the light, chaste kiss and smiles when the kiss is over. ]

I do.

[ And he feels happy about it, but also— ]

You sound nice when you're confident too. I hope I can hear more of that in the future.
