After some friendly chats, the trio decide to go out on a dungeon run together. Why? Simply because that that is the way the dominoes fell.

Their prize? A lovely scenery consisting of a frosty, snowy tundra that seems to encompass the surrounding area, though right in the middle of it is stone wall, of which there is an entry point into the actual heart of the dungeon...where there are monsters and treasure to be found!

[ Right?

Well then, there's the accursed large monster coming right at them! It's not like it's something to be playing around with, and of course he so happens to see that it's taken notice of Cyno right away.

Ganymede immediately leaps into action. It isn't like the other male has taken a strenghtening potion so he doesn't have to bother questioning if it will stack. Once dance, he's tossing a debuff Dek Do at the creature to slow it down.

But he's also keying up to do another. A buff of temporary increase in physical strength for both of his allies, courtesy of another usage of La Corv. ]

[ oh actually maybe he messed up with his choice of potion. ]

[ it doesn't even hesitate directing its attention at cyno; the flick reaper audibly gulps in turn. as it charges at him, he notices two things at almost the same time: that he feels suddenly stronger, and that the monster also seems to be charging a little slower? enough for him to react.

with a swing...!!!

his blow is seemingly ineffective (4) as he doesn't time it up quite right, instead having to hop backward to keep himself from getting toppled over. ]

Yo, did we step into its territory or something?

[ when he tries to swing again, it's almost like he can't keep himself from whiffing (2). where is his luck... where did it go? ]

The watersaurus is surprisingly quick for its size. Perhaps it's seeing red after encountering trespassers. ]

I'm sorry, but we won't leave until we get what we came for.

[ Noir has a clear sight to her target with Jackal occupying the monster. She feels strength coursing through her as she fires a round of bullets (15, 10, 7) at the slowed enemy. The beast's hide is thick in places, lessening the damage, but in others— ]

I think its belly might be its weak point!

[ Hey, that's why he cast a slow down spell on it. One can never tell how the big boys are going to move. Just as well, considering its unfortunate quick maneuverability.

Ganymede's thinking about leaping right in, thinking it might be a problem, and aims his bladed fans towards its belly, resulting in... (20, 20, 19)

Well, let us say that even for a support-level person like him, Ganymede's essentially stun-locked the enemy so that it has difficulty making another charge. But, its HP still have a little bit to go. He thinks that another round of hits from both Cyno and Haru should be enough to finish it. ]

Alright, let's finish this guy off!

[ He's having faith in y'all's capabilities. You can do it, fam! ]

[ okay listen. he knows that eventually he's going to have to have some good luck. it's been pretty miserable not having the best effect given he's literally their only true melee, and given that it's not like every enemy has been ranged (just one). he's bound to have a few good ones left in him. right? right???

he's got the SP to blow. the belly is exposed. all he has to do is run in, hit it with another reaper's touch. in fact, he's hyped up? there's no way this can possibly fail?

cyno charges. bam (18)! the sound of a strike actually hitting is music to his ears. another one (19)! will he finally finish a combo? will he finally be the one to actually end an encounter early and feel like... you know... cool and stuff................

nope not today, bye

at least his hits were pretty solid tho. ]

[ That's it, Jackal! That's...it. Well. Two sweet, solid hits is still enough to make the watersaurus writhe and flop onto the snow, visibly weakened from all the damage.

...and that opening is enough for Haru to land a piercing Thorn Shot where the monster has already been smacked. The bullet rips completely through its pixelated body and out the other end. It's a KO!

The battle music fades, and the storm becomes a gentle snowfall. Noir beams at them, not a trace of fatigue on her face. Rather, she feels refreshed from the violence. ]

And with that, we bid it adieu. Great job, everyone!

Yeah, good job.

[ He means it despite the way he says it rather gently...just because someone flubbed an attack towards the end doesn't mean it was a terrible result. No one got KO'd, which is good enough for him. ]

I think we should see what kind of treasures up ahead? Provided we don't run into anymore monsters.

[ He checks everyone's HP real quick as well, though. ]

[ true, no one has been KO'd! that's always a blessing.

he wipes his forehead. yeah, there's a couple beads of sweat there. and he appreciates ganymede's tone because otherwise he would feel even worse--- cyno did purposefully take the potion that would draw attention to him and attention he received. ]

[ his HP is... well it could always be worse. at least it's not pinging him with warning sounds and blinking lights. ]

Hm... is it just me or is it way quieter than it was outside?

[ Noir's HP bar has taken a hit from the starfish earlier but is still in the healthy range. ]

Perhaps it's because the monsters are gone? Ah, look over there!

[ Towards the very back of the dungeon are glittering treasure chests, and more of them than usual, too. Hoarded and previously guarded by the fallen watersaurus. It seems they've hit the jackpot! ]

[ Treasure chests galore! Ganymede's excited to see that doubloons!

He's already running towards them in a heartbeat. Why? Because he likes the idea of opening and receiving nice rewards for a job well done. ]

Don't hold back everyone—

[ ...Or maybe they should.

Because suddenly there's a trap springing forth. It's a sloth trap, even with the empty chest, he doesn't feel... bad? He feels like taking a nap, actually. ]

—nevermind. I'm going to take a nap.

[ And just like that he logs straight on outie! ]

[ who doesn't love opening boxes full of treasure???

cyno follows after, wondering if the chest will open up just as easily--- and it does. of course he's not expecting the trap that ganymede trips when he opens his. just moments after? he's yawning, stretching up and out. his eyelids feel so heavy. ]

Wait...

[ he doesn't even get to say goodbye? with a weak laugh, he shrugs apologetically towards haru. ]

Sorry. Honestly, a nap feels good. Message me later, okay?

[ and he follows. sleep time. ]

[ Noir is too busy stifling a yawn to bid Ganymede farewell, suddenly struck with fatigue although the battles earlier had her blood pumping. She exchanges a tired smile with Jackal. ]

Mmm... That sounds like a good idea right now. Sleep well.

[ She nods in hazy agreement. A second later, the dungeon is abandoned as the last player logs off. ]
