Run results:
Your party heads off to Dancing Aster's Scud in search of treasure and adventure. You gate in and find yourself in a hot, volcanic wasteland stretching as far as the eye can see. Located within the heart of the field is a castle wall dungeon lush with treasure and crawling with monsters.
On your adventure, you encounter several strong foes, Disco Knives, Skate Rat Ark and Dalaigons among them.
After carving a path through your foes, you finally make your way into the dungeon.
The dungeon run seems to be progressing quite smoothly. As you reach the end of your adventure, you hear a rough, croaky voice whisper to you... "Welcome, weary traveler. Allow me to bless you before you depart."
...But you haven't been blessed at all! You've been cursed! You keep slipping and falling flat on your digital ass at random. The good news? The curse will wear off after 24 hours. Until then, chin up, adventurer.

Wait, let's get everyone on their feet first. [She turns to Hector, first, given he's their healer, going over to offer him a hand if needed.] You good?

Whatever, he didn't want anybody's help anyway. He's just going to angrily push himself back on his feet, by himself, a scowl contorting his features. Dosei dusts himself off; he has his pain sensors turned off, but it doesn't mean the experience was particularly pleasant.
This is why he doesn't like teaming up with people. ]

[ He's just gonna turn and his heel and go ahead, fuck y'all. ]

[ He immediately turns his attention to Dosei and jogs over to him. Sorry he fell over instead making it to you, buddy. ]

[ Doesn't wait for an answer. He casts Ul Repth on him to make up for whatever HP he lost. ]

That was a big one and we haven't even reached the dungeon yet. I wonder how many we'll see.

[ Dosei grimaces at the healing spell, trying to smack away whatever little remnants of the magic floats off him out of spite. Sorry, Hector. He's an angry little goblin.
He hefts the scythe back over his shoulder, trying to keep himself as far from the lava pools as possible as they venture forward. ]
Hopefully not much. I want to get my shit and leave.

Hector whips around to look at the others—Mithrun, why are you behind him? He pauses in his tracks to let them catch up, then gently encourages noodle boy to take the lead. He shouldn't be in front.
When he is appropriately not on the front line, he drags a hand through his sopping wet hair. ]
And I don't want heatstroke.
[ He feels hotter after the fight... Even though he didn't do anything.
Fortunately, they make their way across the volcanic wasteland with little other interruptions, but unfortunately, the inside of the castle wall isn't much cooler. If anything, the heat feels even more stifling in here, without anywhere for it to go. ]
All right. [ He's not going to complain, though. He's gotta keep morale up. ] Let's do this.

( ... Mithrun simply isn't about that life. His question to Dosei is indifferent, but pointed - clearly, Dosei does not have to talk, given he uses a voice synthesizer and all. He's unpleasant on purpose, but not in the same way as, say, Fandaniel. He's just deeply weird.
The castle's lined with vague portraits and beautiful red-run carpets throughout the stone halls - it's not lost on Mithrun how ovenish it is here. Nor does he miss the distant sound of clattering, multicolored cutlery - or, well, knives, but he can't tell where the sound's coming from yet. It's just audible that something is here, hoping to strike - and with advantage. He narrows his eyes, steadying his grip on his weapon. )

They reach the castle walls, and Dehya's equally (or more) ready to dive in, get their loot and get out of the heat. But, she cringes a little as Mithrun speaks up.]
Well, it's a little faster than opening the chat window in combat. I don't mind it.

(Un)fortunately, Dosei's attention gets dragged away from the heat...in favor of disbelief, which swiftly turns to anger as his head whips around. The hissing noise that slips out is not electronic in nature, but the words that follow are. ]

[ Just because it's hard for it to sound like a snap through a translator doesn't mean it comes across any friendlier. ]
'Do you have to talk', what, do you have to breathe? Don't ask dumbass questions.
[ He's...a little defensive. Just a tad. Probably at the wrong thing, as a scraping noise gets closer, followed by oddly brightly colored lights for a medieval castle. What seems to be the sharp edges of blades, refracting the light of torches, peek around the corners- like they're watching the show. Or waiting. Or both. Probably both. ]

Hey! Uncalled for, Mithrun.
[ He points at the noodle boy, voice in thorough scold mode. The calmer the group can collectively keep Dosei, the better.
On that note. ]
Ignore him, Ramiel. You should communicate if you want. This is a group effort, after all.
[ That distant clinking catches his attention, of course, and when he sees the brightly multicolored knives float menacingly nearer, he lowers himself into a ready stance. ]
Because I think we have company.
[ The knives slowly begin to swirl in place, as though sizing them all up, before one shoots out, straight for Dosei. ]

... If you dislike working with groups, ( to Dosei, ) don't participate in group content if you have nothing to show for your independence. The healer is only doing their job.
( In Mithrun's perspective, Dosei just kind of stands around and complains, and while Mithrun doesn't really care personally, Dosei walking off and trying to shake off Hector's healing when he's not strong enough to get away with doing so makes him a liability.
Even if Hector, apparently, would rather be nice than expect Dosei to operate competently.
The matter done with in Mithrun's mind, he kicks off as that knife shoots off for Dosei, blocking it with his broad claymore as if it were a shield.
He uses the momentum to bring it back around for a second, violent AOE sweep, which beats back that knife further and strikes the twirling knives just a little further beyond.
He'd placed his blow so he could maximize the number of targets in range - the one knife that had just been targeting Dosei dissipates, but the rest, making up for their HP with great numbers, remain standing (floating?). )

[Because they've got company. Mithrun deflects the knives first, sparing Dosei. Dehya sizes up the group, then charges to try and flank them along the left to swipe her blade through them and draw attention.]
