You head off to Forgotten Bustling Princess all on your lonesome in search of treasure and adventure. You gate in and find yourself in a hot, volcanic wasteland stretching as far as the eye can see. Located within the heart of the field is a castle wall dungeon lush with treasure and crawling with monsters.
On your adventure, you encounter several strong foes, Disco Knives, Sled Dog Kings and Grand Mages among them.
After carving a path through your foes, you finally make your way into the dungeon.
Nothing particularly unusual jumps out at you during your dungeon run... unless you count the solid gold goblin running towards you at lightning speed. "Hey you! Wait up!" If you stop and humor the garrish creature, it'll wave its stubby arms around and dance a merry jig.
"Howdy, adventurer! How ya doin'! I'm wonderful, thank ya very much! As a special treat, why don't I share my happiness with lil ol' you?!"
You're in a wonderful mood! You feel like there isn't a thing in the world that can stop you now. Ah, confidence. You love to see it.

unfortunately they do get to uta first and uta's attempt to block the attack goes hilariously wrong as her fingers slip on her keyboard or that her headset slips on her face in the real world...something and she takes the full brunt of the attack. a critical attack event that takes a chunk out of her hp.
how was that possible? who knows. she's being punished for trying to be an optimist apparently. ]

Kara, unfortunately, has zero healing. None. She cannot help poor Uta, and her eyes go wide when she sees the other woman get hurt.
There's something akin to extreme fury in her eyes after the fact, and she throws herself at the knives, winding up for a powerful set of punches. They don't take out the cluster just yet, but they do significant damage. She manages to catch them off-guard, enough to give her an opening to check on Uta. ]
Are you alright? Hang in there, okay? Please.

someone has learned from her past mistakes, fortunately, and uta has brought a few potions with her and will immediately use one now that kara is offering her some support and room to do so. it doesn't bring her back to full but at least she's not in danger of dying in the dungeon. ]
Thank you Kara. I'm glad that I bought some of these and remembered to bring them with me.
[ unfortunately because the dice gods still hate me, and likely due to the face that she's been smacked around, while she's able to sort of do more damage to the mob, it isn't going to end up finishing off the lot of them either. ]

Oh, good! You're prepared.
[ Kara, however, does not bother with potions and instead runs up to the mob and packs a powerful AOE punch with her Tiger Bite skill. It hits so hard that it KO's the mob immediately. Never underestimate Kara's wrath when you've messed with Uta, apparently... ]

[ well if kara was looking to impress uta then she definitely accomplished that. uta's seen plenty of people going full ham on their opponents with varying degrees and success. most of them ending poorly—if she were going to be honest about it all.
once all of the monsters are cleared out from this segment of the dungeon, uta will make her way over towards kara's side proper and clap her hands. it's also probably best not to run ahead under these circumstances. ]
That was super impressive, Kara. You really showed them who was boss.

[ She seems very impressed with herself. Like, overly so... Kara smiles brightly at her comrade before she gestures to go forward with her head. ]
Well, let's not stick around. I think we ought to get moving again, don't you?

it's kind of a shame that there aren't buffs that she could give out. it would be all too fitting if she could. ]
Right. Now, as they say in America, "Charge!"
[ does she really need to be expending this much energy when it's this hot? probably not but it doesn't stop her from doing so. anyway, into the next room that they go and hopefully this time things will not end in disasters. ]

[ there's a genuine sincerity in her voice as she shares her questionably valid opinion about americans. kara is more than allowed to question the way that uta is viewing things...it's just a matter of whether or not uta will budge on it or not.
either way, the next room doesn't come at them fast and furiously despite uta also joining kara in being vigilant. ]
But of course; I can't let my spirits be so easily defeated.

maybe it should be the opposite but somehow it has the opposite effect on uta. blame it on her hp and sp being back to being full. ]
I'd be a bit disappointed if it was. However, I've been in a few dungeons where it has been rather uneventful after the first two rooms.
[ and into the next room??? is there really nothing for them?? ]
Or maybe we can expect extra special treasure!
