Who ⬤ Ganymede and Co.
What ⬤ Dungeon-crawlin' with four people pt. redux. What can go wrong?
When ⬤ Following this, and other times at misc. moments (accounting for the future.)
Where ⬤ Concealed Mourning Bulwark, Closed Failing Pilgrim, & Pulsating Black Old World
Content Warnings ⬤ None and not anticipating any!

[ Ganymede has spoken to at least...two of these people, once.
That's what probably makes it reasonable for him to come along on the party raid.
Following conversation on the network and elsewhere, all three responsible receive new emails bidding them to come to the Chaos Gate. Ganymede is already awaiting their appearances.
Fortunately, so is information regarding their keywords, which are "Concealed Mourning Bulwark".
Once the Chaos Gate warps them over, they'll find...
...That they are all in an area that's more or less a stormstruck plain stretching from end to end. Right in the middle of this field is a flesh wall dungeon, the beginning point of the actual dungeon itself. ]
RESULTS #1: For Concealed Mourning Bulwark!
RESULTS #2: For Pulsating Black Old World!
RESULTS #3: For Closed Failing Pilgrim!

Mm. If we can keep out of their way, we'll be fine. But if they hit hard...
[Using brandish again to attract their attention. Go Swallow, Ganymede, go do your thing]

[ Well, it seems like morale's pretty good. This group does consist of nimble fighters.
Once again Ganymede's firing off the good ol' La Corv for his two reliable party members, followed up with two quick casts of Dek do on the already slow, lumbering giants! You know, giving physical power buffs and slowing down the enemies, as one does.
As a side note, they are easily attracted by Sinclair's aggro-grabber technique, lumbering in his direction with their maces. ]
Just remember not to get careless! But, if you do, I happen to have a healing spell at the ready.
[ Ganymede still has a good remaining amount of SP, though it's at least at its half-way point by now. ]

[And with that sage advice, she goes in with her scythe, a slash at both of them before hitting one in particular with a Reaper's Touch for a crit.]
no subject
[And then, for Ganymede's sake since he doesn't seem to know] It's when you keep hitting an enemy to stop them from releasing an attack.
[As he does with the other ironball titan. Triple wield, lets go]
no subject
[ This round of fighting nets obviously successful hits! Unfortunately these duo of monsters do no ostensibly go down immediately like other mooks the group has more or less ganged up on.
Though, there is one fortunate note—with Shoka landing a critical hit, one of the enemies is staggered enough that it cancels out a slow-as-molasses wide-range swing. The second one is further encumbered by Sinclair taking opportunity to hit it as well but not exactly stunlocked per say.
So, it looks like it is about to swing at the blond...! ]
no subject
[Swinging at that second one with another Reaper's Touch and - hello, second crit! It's not something she can keep up forever due to the cost, but she can at least stunlock it from finishing off that attack.]
no subject
[Sinclair is a good little tank. He puts himself between Ganymede and the grand electric, and charges up with another Thorn Dance to help finish it off]
no subject
[ Normally, their higher defense might make it difficult to stunlock it easily, especially since it was already mid-swing, but the combination of attacks focusing on the second one, cause a chain of damage that allows a miracle:
A break through the defense. A critical, and then a subsequent application of Thorn Dance fells the second Ironball Titans.
But, that leaves the other, doesn't it?
Which in the midst of them focusing on taking down its partner takes a swing, aiming to try to hit Shoka. Though Ganymede also ensures to toss another liberal application of a slow down debuff at it (Dek do), it seems that it still is in motion. ]
no subject
Oops! Too slow.
no subject
One more blow and it should go down!
no subject
I think the honor will go to you, Swallow.
[ But just in case, Ganymede will toss another physical strength buff towards the woman, with another liberal application of La Corv. No point in leaving any room for doubt or any unfortunate surprises.
Of course, that will leave them all available to collect the loot after that successful hit. ]
no subject
Fine, guess I'll put you out of your misery!
[-And with that, she leaps for it, scythe raised like a veritable grim reaper before bringing it down for one last Reaper's Touch.]
no subject
[ That was cool. And with a team like this, they do a pretty good job. Approaching the chest when everyone is ready]
1/2
Good job, everyone.
Let's claim the fruits of our labor, alright?
[ The blond states, completely cheerful, and immediately starts towards the chest. He's certain they can all distribute the rewards after it's open.
Once he goes forward, it's time to open up the chest... ]
2/2
[ ...And then, just like that, his eyes begin to tear up due to certain effects; he barely notices, though.
Their reward is an empty chest, with the mentioned tear trap...RIP. ]
no subject
Ugh, seriously?!
no subject
Ah. Another trap...

Once they gate in to the Area, they will find that they are the only players present. They've warped in on a bridge, giving them the perfect view of what stands before them: a waterfall, sheets of crystalline water pouring over a rockface that has a temple built into the side. The bridge leading up to the waterfall, however, has partially collapsed, leaving a big open space between the two portions. But maybe... if they brave it, they can make it to the temple.
If not, there are other things they can look at too, such as the bridge itself or the water down below. ]
no subject
...It looks like a new, strange area. But, making the crossing might not be all that easy. Let's look at all of our options, and then figure out how we want to go about this?
[ He thinks he'll head towards the bridge first regardless. Is there something here that can help them cross over that big gap? ]
no subject
Mm. Maybe we can find something to climb or make a platform with?
[Are there any secret climbing pathways here? Come on videogame logic]
no subject
If all that fails, we can always swim across.
no subject
Luckily(?), for the adventurers, the parts of the bridge that collapsed are on the bottom as rubble, crooked and just generally not well-placed. However, they're big and it's not like the river current is strong anyway, so it's not like they'll be swept away. The bigger problem is getting there in the first place.
At least the rocks from the bridge columns that support the bridge are capable of being climbed in whichever direction they please. ]
no subject
The bridge itself is a bit unstable, and I think depending on how much weight we place on certain spots we could easily plunge down below.
So, obviously chancing it only on that isn't a great idea.
[ That's what he happened to get on his end. He wasn't the one getting down near where the rocks were, though. Therefore if the others found stuff about that, they'll have to let him know. ]
no subject
[Peering down nervously. Ugh. That's...unsettling. The rubble does look more stable at least]
