[ A few days later, they will all receive an email from an "Anonymous" encouraging them to go investigate a new area under the keywords Θ Hidden Forbidden In Heat.

Should they choose to go to this area, they will immediately notice that it's extremely, extremely hot before anything else. It seems like there's a mansion far off in the distance, its large façade almost wavy-looking in the intense heat.

What will they do? ]

[Can't be any worse then any other mysterious sets of keywords Owen's seen before, so he's hopping in to see what happens!

But of course it's hot. Of course.]

Why couldn't it be somewhere with snow?

[Now, where are his party members?]

Of course it's going to be hot.

[ the keywords pretty much clued him in on yet another one of these places, but... this is obviously very different. ]

Big building though. Don't think I've seen any of these before areas before, so...

[ then again he's literally gotten hot deserts, rocky dungeons, icy tundras and like. a forest once ever. so. ]

... yeah, let's get on with it.

[ The three start off on a large circular platform with the floor decorated as white and black checkerboard tiles. The platform has a fence guard all around with plus-shaped decorations painted on them. Ahead of them lies a bridge of the same aesthetic, except it is harshly broken down. What runs parallel with the bridges are tall stone structures that resemble incredibly thick walls that is carved with a similar design of the fence guard with a bright orange circle glowing. This could be mistaken as part of the decoration itself, but no, this is where all the lava pours into the place, with the platform they're on being their savior to prevent being roasted alive.

There lies a huge mansion beyond the ruptured bridge. It is impossible to tell if the ruptured bridge is due to age or by the lava, but as the rest of the building is fine, it was definitely not the lava.

In front of the doors to the mansion stands a large, imposing statue that looks as if it is guarding it to prevent anyone from going inside, moat of lava aside. Not that it would be the only thing preventing them from getting there anyway, since there's a visible, yet transparent wall blocks them from passing over the bridge regardless of any skills you have.

The air is thick and hot, the entire area coated in the orange-red hue that reflects off of the lava. Perhaps one day, they may be welcomed into those doors, but for now? It's best to do something else. Luckily for the three, there are little orbs that flitter about as if they are spiritual remnants of a long lost past.

Careful now. You may want to be quick, because the hear will only get worse and worse the longer they stay. ]

[Said dryly, as he looks into the lava surrounding them.]

Seems like it’s also impossible to get into that mansion. Hope neither of you end up with migraines after this.

[Because that wasn’t fun. He does look at the orbs, curious… How close are they? Close enough to touch?]

[ the little orbs have his attention; they're the only thing that seem to be worth any merit. but he'll do his due diligence first. ]

Probably impossible. [ musing out loud, as he idly swings his scythe around. ] But I don't want to give up that quickly.

[ though tbh there's not much for him to really understand. the statue is a towering problem, but what's behind it is... definitely more of a problem. ]

What do you think they are?

[ he might be a little worried that they could dangerous... ]

[ The little orbs flutter close to them, but they're always out of reach when someone tried to grab them. However, after some time, they might notice that they keep moving in the same pattern, as if they're trying to write the same letters in the air. However, whatever they're writing might not be familiar to anyone in the group. Maybe someone should take notes? ]

[ She'll also attempt to trace the patterns with her index finger. ]

[ The little floating orbs continue to move in a pattern as if they're trying to spell something out. However, it seems to be a pretty long cycle is the group chooses to see when it starts repeating. At the very least, it isn't in English.

The heat is starting to get unbearable--worse than before. as time passes. Will they succumb to virtual heatstroke or continue to try and decipher the long string of whatever letters? One of the letters seem to resemble an arrow that points up. ]

Okay, so there's an arrow pointing up...

[ She looks up -- is that what they're trying to get them to do? Look up?? It's hot, though. ]

[ Luckily for Cyno and Kara, Owen is correct! These are indeed runes. But there is no in-game confirmation. Instead, the little floating balls continue to repeat the movement in those runes, which is pretty long each and every time... The heat begins to reach critical levels, so it's best advised to leave very soon.

There's nothing else to explore! Well done, adventurers! ]
