[ Arrive at Mac Anu, where the welcome party was held, to find it...empty? A quick look on the forums shows a little edit to Hector's post:

So that's where he is.

In the center of the brightly illuminated nighttime city, Hector's set himself up for his little get together. But since he doesn't have any tables or plates or anything fancy like that, all the alcohol and food he bought from various vendors are just...strewn around the floor. The food is probably still good to eat, though. It's fine. Take what strikes your fancy!

Hector's wearing his outfit again. He lounges on the steps of that funky spinny thing in the center of town, and anyone who gets close enough to hear him will hear music coming from his mic. Give him a break. He's doing his best.

When enough people have gathered, he might actually get up and drag everyone into a drinking game.

So enjoy—eat, drink, mingle, and smack your friends! PvP is enabled here, after all :) ]

[ When Fandaniel plops down beside him, Hector lifts his bottle again, this time as a proper toast. Thanks for joining him, bro. ]

Ha! You're right. [ He takes a big swig of his wine as his gaze sweeps over the crowd and party. Things seem pretty normal, at least for the time being. ] I just thought it'd be fun to have the party in the new city. Didn't really think about the PKing part.

[ If someone dies... Eh, at least it isn't real. Is it his problem? Probably not. ]

T'would be more fun if your party decided upon a free-for-all, although I suppose drinking and brawling is ill-advised.

[ Or extra advised. Name a more iconic duo than drinking and causing a fight. Alas, Fandaniel doubts anyone will decide to do any such thing, much less convince everyone else to join in. Well, he might try the first part, but he knows he won't be able to manage the second.

So, he just settles on cracking open the bottle of wine he collected on the way down to settle on the stairs and then plucks an empty glass off the ground nearby. He pours himself a glass over drinking straight from the bottle. ]

[ Hector idly watches Dan out of the corner of his eye. A glass. Fancy. He takes another chug from his bottle. ]

Probably. [ He shrugs a bit, taking in the sights for another moment. ] But it's just a game, right? Dying probably can't be that bad.

[ Supposing this comes before Mithrun tells him in detail what dying is like. lmao ]

That's the spirit! Why play it safe when life here doesn't matter? You'll only come back.

[ Weird way of putting it, Fandaniel, but okay. He takes a drink of his own glass before pausing to give Hector a sidelong glance and add, ]

Though I would suggest leaving the pain sensor setting off if you believe you may die often. It is not for the faint of heart.

[ That is a fair point. If it's like any other game, they can just reload if they fail. Or die. Hector nods as he takes another swig from his wine bottle.

At that second mention, though, he turns to Fandaniel, brow cocked. ]

What, is that coming from experience?
