Who • Head Admin
What • A chance to see the Head Admin "in-person". May be cranky. Caution advised.
When • August 5-11
Where • Lumina Cloth
Content Warnings • Possible PKing (with player permission)
[ Any time between August 5 to 11, you may see a figure clad in a long black cloak with the hood up to obscure his face, either standing at random spots of the city with his 5' 10" height or sitting on a bench, being slightly less menacing. He stands out in a certain way, because his presence alone might be a little unnerving. He resembles what you would expect out of a grim reaper sort of existence.
Yet, if you check his character information, you'll see his level, class, equipment, and a very "friendly" blurb. A level 100... Harvest Cleric? Surely, that shouldn't be too scary to deal with, right?
Anyway, here are your options:
I ► You're here to talk about that weird quest. He will reject any attempts at being given the quest item. May straight up PK you without hesitation either way.
II ► You want to fight him. Maybe you want to launch a surprise attack on him or just straight up ask for a PvP round for whatever reason. Lumina Cloth is pvp-enabled for the entire root town, after all.
III ► You're not sure how to approach him, but you can hear him mumbling about a potato...
IV ► You want to talk to him about something else.
Wildcard ► Hit him up in-person or his inbox with whatever you'd like! I do want to note that every single in-person interaction has the possibility of him trying to PK you because he's a cranky and violent guy--yes, even prompt 4. If you would prefer not to get PK'd, please let me know in the comment header in advance, so that I can avoid that while threading with you! You can put anything you want under wildcard, including dragging him to the amusement park, but will he agree? Fuck around to find out.
He's just here to vibe. There will be no plot-relevant things here. ]

Some don't understand that this is a beta test.
[ That's all he says about it. What is he--a god? lmao ]
But I also have a nasty personality and I don't care what they think of me.
no subject
( But Mithrun figures they're probably providing an authentic player experience anyway so it's probably fine. (He isn't a gamer so he doesn't know if this is true or not.) He'll be over here running Area keywords dozens of times over to verify what they generate and trying to test every invisible wall. )
I think you're fine.
( This may sound like he's sucking up to Hien, but he would, unfortunately, say this about most people. Hien powertrips a lot and killed him but it's kind of whatever. )
You also answer my questions even when you seem like you'd rather not.
( A beat. )
I don't know if I'm having fun in Fragment, ( What Zelkova asked him before, ) but I think I don't think I dislike the time I'm spending here, either.
no subject
Because you have a lot of time to kill and this is an entirely new field to learn about?
[ He's seen you explore all those areas, Mithrun... ]
no subject
... I don't know. At the end of the day, this world isn't real; but it is more fantastic. Do you think it's more worth spending time in than reality?
( Especially considering the significant uptick in VR addiction lately; a game like this, when it hits the shelves, most certainly won't help those numbers. )
no subject
[ Hien answers without a single bit of hesitation. ]
But I'm not like everyone else. They're not me, so I expect a different answer from the others. What they find to be of worth is different from mine.
[ So he won't push that belief against anyone else's. Anyone is free to think for themselves and therefore, have their own opinion. ]
no subject
( He doesn't know if that makes reality better than Fragment; just more suited to his one very specific desire. It is, likewise, subjective to his own experience. )
Is the real world boring, to you?
no subject
I wouldn't say it's boring, but I'm here for a good time, not a long time.
[ Maybe that's why he doesn't care to be too professional about what he does, even if he seems to like the world of virtual reality—even if it means never being able to return. Life is just that. It is what it is. ]
Curious about the life of the head admin? It's nothing great.
no subject
Are you willing to share, even so?
( That wasn't a refusal, )
no subject
[ He seems to be closed off, but not too much so. Though, it does seem that he's not used to people asking him about himself unless they blatantly want something from him that he'd refuse to give.
His mood isn't horrid, but it's not good either. Smack dab in the neutral zone. ]
no subject
( Now he just has erotica in his inventory, he guesses. )
... What made you want to work on this project?
( A simple enough starting point. )
no subject
[ It's the truth. Nothing made him want to work here, yet he's here anyway? ]
That's all you're getting out of me regarding that.
no subject
All right. Do you have any hobbies?
no subject
Computers. Video games. Playing with my dog. Sleeping.
[ Being a sadist in some way or another, but he won't say that.
But congratulations, Mithrun. You have unlocked most of what Hien likes, which isn't honestly much to begin with anyway. ]
no subject
You like dogs?
no subject
... I do.
[ ... ]
My roommate got one and said that he was mine.
[ The dog or the roommate?? ]
no subject
What's his name?
( up to hien to clarify this one )
no subject
[ Is this really a clarification though. ]
no subject
... It's hard to imagine you playing with a dog.
( He looks at Hien, like he's trying to picture it.
Hmmm. )
But not impossible.
no subject
Regardless, it's the truth. And I have to think of a way to stop him from eating my potatoes.
no subject
( It takes him a second to get what genre of topic they're even talking about. )
Ah. Like the fad?
( u have potat pet ? )
no subject
[ He sighs, but there's maybe a tiny bit of fondness in there if Mithrun can... look for it. ]
He sometimes chews on them, eats them, or carry them to bed with him to sleep with. This is a problem with the latest fad.
[ So, yes. He has one. ]
no subject
( Or is it just tragic for your little potato buddy... )
Do you give them names?
no subject
[ He would pick his dog over potato pets... hell, he'd pick his dogs over most things in general. ]
I don't give them names.
no subject
Do you like people at all?
no subject
[ The fastest answer that Hien has ever given Mithrun, right here. ]
Don't ask me about my job either.
[ Whether he's suited or why does he have this job when he doesn't like people... ]
