[Sinclair laughs a little and jostles Oria in turn. That probably would have taken out Sinclair since he would have tanked most of it before he got wiser but.

He will not say how he forgot all about Triple Doom's ignore defense capabilities until in the middle of their fight. ]

[ Pfft. Okay, Oria can't keep that up. He almost snorts. ]

That's to say, I'll probably have to get more experienced first. I doubt most of us are used to fighting in real life, so this is a really new experience.

Mm. I had to take some fencing lessons when I was younger [the life of a rich kid] but that had been for fun, and didn't stick. And it's not like this at all.

Fencing... the closest would be like blade brandier, right? The sword class. But fencing is a completely different style. Might as well use a rapier instead. Nothing else though?

[ He wonders what Sinclair's life would have been like... ]

Probably. I don't think I was very good at it though. [He was always hesitating to start first, and his instructor used to get so mad. It was a relief when he was allowed to quit]

Mm...I did whatever they asked me to do at school [Like dance classes, maraca class] but not really. What about you?

[ Oria would absolutely flip his shit if Sinclair tells him that he took a maraca dance class... But he seems to think about it for a while. ]

Would you believe me if I said I could do everything?

Well, I can play a lot of sports. I mostly play shooting games too. I do in-line skating parkour in my free time...

[ That's the only reason why he's not an absolute noodle or round since he eats so much food. ]

[Rubbing his cheek, which is probably soft like mochi tbh. Curse of a soft face. He considers it and glances at Oria. That's right, Oria looked exactly like he did IRL]

In-like skating parkour?

[Sinclair doesn't eat a lot to begin with, so. Noodle he remains. Not enough protein intake]

In-line skating parkour is basically parkour but with, well, in-line skates. That's really the only difference apart from doing things you can only do with skates. I got over my fear of heights this way.

[A tiny sulk. Puffing his cheeks just a little]

Ah--that does sound pretty intense. It's hard to imagine you being afraid of anything though.

[ Cute. The way that Sinclair puffs his cheeks makes him want to poke it more, but he'll let those cheeks rest for now. ]

Ah, well... everyone is afraid of something, whether that's physical or conceptual. I am too.

[ But will he reveal his fear? No. He won't, because that's just what Oria needs to be—a charismatic social person who doesn't seem to have any serious flaws.

But he can let loose in the game a little.

He's about to joke that his sister and mother get "scary" enough, but he doesn't think its a good idea to bring them up, considering Sinclair's circumstances. So he just smiles at him instead. ]

[Sinclair looks at Oria for a long moment. It's hard to imagine, he thinks. But he knows Oria is being honest. Regardless of what it is, Sinclair wont pry. It's not his place. He rubs his thumb over the edge of his gloves instead, letting the fluffy lining soothe him. ]

...you know, if you were going to say something about your family, you don't have to hide it. I'm not that weak.

[He remembered enough from their few chance meetings at those parties, after all. He can see right through what Oria is doing right now. It was kind of him. But unnecessary. He just needs to make it clearer himself]

[ He's glad when Sinclair makes it clear, and he laughs a little. Oria feels that Sinclair has gotten a little stronger and honestly? It feels great. ]

Yeah, they can be, huh? Better not mess with them when they're pissed off and such, but sometimes it's kinda fun.

[ His family is important despite everything. He'd drop everything and travel across half planet if it was for family.

[Sinclair's relationship with his sister has been entirely different, especially once she had grown out of the 'lets bully my baby brother' stage. It was a lot more doting, after that]

Yeah, she's super sensible and no-nonsense, so I guess all her stat points were put into that!

[ His head jerks a little just like last time. It's most likely due to outside stimuli. ]

Maybe you shouldn't tease her if you want to keep playing.

[ But they finally reach where they can get food! Their HP and SP has been slowly ticking upwards since they haven't drawn any aggro either. ]

You know what I should do next time for PvP? Equip that quest skin.

[ The milk gun. ]

I bet people would wanna run away from it. It would make kiting a whole lot easier, don't you think?

[ Now he's just being a little shitter. ]

[Sinclair pulls a face. He doesn't want to think about the quest skin. There are so many regrets honestly]

[ Oria finally takes his arm off Sinclair's shoulders to buy some digital food. He has a bite out of a cheeseburger. Yum. ]

So friend privileges mean you don't get to see it! See? I can be pretty generous.
