11/05 — ΣHeartless Snaring Cathedral...?

Who: █████ & visitors
What: scheming
Where: Δ Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground (Hulle Granz Cathedral)
When: Sunday, 11/05
Warnings: to be added
[ Despite the ominous aura, the haunted tower has seen no shortage of visitors recently. But for those who gate in today the air itself is different. The skies are black, and the mist that had blanketed only the top of the tower now pours out across the plains, shrouding the ruined city from sight.
Anyone who goes looking for the master of the tower will find that the room he occupied before now holds only a single door, standing unsupported in the middle of the room. It beckons, tugging with a terrible compulsion — you know whatever sight awaits you is one you'll later wish you could forget, and yet... you look. But the door opens only onto the bridge leading to Hulle Granz Cathedral, where the first quiet strains of choral music through the open doors guides you on. ]
((Note: Characters are welcome to receive the location from any other player and gate directly to Δ Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground. Allowing those who found his tower inaccessible to come join, too, is cruelty.))

[ Tylor sounds genuinely concerned for Gorre's aptitude. One arm holds Hani close as the other slices out at the source of Gorre's voice. Only once the skill is activated does his scythe appear for a Vak Spiral (15).
And then he throws the whole weapon at him, aiming for wherever he thinks Gorre's face is in the recovery from his daze. Not that it will really do much, if any, damage. But he never was one for strict rules. And it will dematerialize once he switches classes anyway.
He is staring again, trying not to do more than glance, wince, at the damage everyone else is taking. His voice is still hopeful, confident, when it's directed at Michel. At Gorre. ]
We'll laugh about all of this over a game someday.

Michel knew… He knew we had noticed. How could we not? It was an understanding between us. You may think that, too, is a cruelty, but as you are now, I wonder if you could ever guess why we noticed and seemingly only watched as it happened.

The hit visibly hurts; fortunately for Ganymede, it catches him in the chest rather than outright in the face. But he staggers, and his HP bar drops tangibly.
Annoying. Inconvenient. With the tethers still in place his HP is recovering still; but it's plain he can be hurt like this. ]
No. I have data on this, too. You did nothing... because you believed it would not be necessary. You cared for him more than you cared for the lives of anyone else here. And you believed you could retrieve him later without consequence.
[ He understands, he understands. So much data from the last fight. At the thought, his gaze turns to Justy again. He is holding this consideration for the moment. ]

[ Genuine curiosity, still protectively curled over Hani. Though they are free to move wherever they like. ]

[ Which he is still, gradually. There's so many models to run this data through. ]
They are here because they concluded that this would be resolved easily. And you are here because if you do not pursue, you will always be left behind.
[ The eyes turn towards that injured leg and narrow momentarily in something like amusement. ]

No, you're wrong. You have the pieces, but you can't escape your limits. You are not Michel after all, so you can't...
[ ... understand. ]
Will you keep trying?

Tylor breathes a laugh after Hani speaks, gaze still unwavering. ]
Oh, no. I never thought it would be easy. Fighting people you love is never easy, let me tell you.
Besides, even if I was-- that doesn't sound so bad to me. If they all get to go home, including Michel.
[ Tylor smiles, tilting his head no matter the answer to Hani's question. ]
Do you still find me that elusive? Even like this?

I will complete my analysis.
[ Is this what Hani is asking...? To Tylor, ]
The person you love is gone. You simply refuse to lay him to rest.
[ It's not an agreement with Tylor's final question, but for a moment, the head swivels away as though in discomfort. A weakness in his data set... ]
