[ Despite the ominous aura, the haunted tower has seen no shortage of visitors recently. But for those who gate in today the air itself is different. The skies are black, and the mist that had blanketed only the top of the tower now pours out across the plains, shrouding the ruined city from sight.

Anyone who goes looking for the master of the tower will find that the room he occupied before now holds only a single door, standing unsupported in the middle of the room. It beckons, tugging with a terrible compulsion — you know whatever sight awaits you is one you'll later wish you could forget, and yet... you look. But the door opens only onto the bridge leading to Hulle Granz Cathedral, where the first quiet strains of choral music through the open doors guides you on. ]

You-[You know what, while Gorre is still occupied and Yael's already made his move, Dehya pivots to come running and attempt to yank him into a headlock.] We really thought you were dead! Where have you been? Do you know how much you worried people?!

[She succeeds with minimal effort. Yael puts up no resistance, though he does grunt when he's forced to bend (he's old and creaky) due to their difference in height.]

People've got better things to do than worry about me. I'd tell you I'm sorry, but sorry isn't enough, is it?

No, it's not. [She maintains the lock, though it isn't enough to strangle him.] You also have to survive the rest of this. Got it?

[How generous of her. Dehya really is too soft for her own good, but Yael's always appreciated that about her.]

Yes ma'am. Call me an idiot all you like, but save it for the afterparty. We'd all better be there.

Yeah, yeah. [Dehya slowly releases her grip... and then moves to swat him upside the back of the head for good measure.] And I won't be saving you from Kara or Hector if they kick your ass.

[She hefts her blade over her shoulder before looking back to Gorre.] After we deal with the big guy.

[That swat to the back of a head coaxes a laugh out of him.]

I offered to let him kick me in the balls and he passed it up. I might not be so lucky with Kara.

[But he'll cross that ball busting bridge when he gets to it. For now, it's all eyes on Gorre.]
