⬣//A BRIEF REPRIEVE
⬣//BREATHE. EVERYTHING WILL BE OKAY.
This is your Official™ catch-all log for the month of November. While the boss battles rage on, those of you who are looking to disengage from combat and kick your feet up for a spell can do so here.
Post your open prompts in this post. Closed starters may also be posted here or on @Altimit, but all open posts belong here in this log. Lawbreakers will be bent over the modly knee and paddled into compliance. Thank you.

Jokes aside, Albedo has no fears still, so he wanders into Naval Monte, perhaps thinking of causing a certain graveyard guard some trouble because he hasn't learned his lesson.
Fortunately, Hien is in the state he is first. Upon discovering the head administrator's near-dead body, he will move to kneel down beside the man, staining blood on his pants, but not being bothered with that. Instead intensely focusing on the issue in front of him. ]
Hien, open your mouth.
[ Even a healer can be too incapacitated to heal thyself. He begins to rummage for some potions... ]

[ An involuntary response. Albedo moves to gently see if he can get the other male to lie on his side. Judging from how much blood is...just, everywhere, there's probably a lot in his lungs.
It may be that he'll have to cough out some more before he can think of even feeding him an item of some sort. ]

Albedo looks back at the glaring eye. Then, he checks if Hien is able to open his mouth again without...doing the coughing. ]
Are you able to consume some items that I have? You may be a healer, but I see you're in a critical condition.
[ He asks, already extracting some tea. ]
no subject
'm fine...
no subject
With all due respect, I found you lying in a pool of your own blood.
[ Though, there is also a little pause. ]
Speaking of which, I truly can't fathom why your wounds keep reopening. Alongside potentially new ones. [ ... ] It wasn't because of what you told me, was it?

... If you remember Misteaks and Mithrun suffering headaches during the meeting at the mansion... it's just that, but worse.
[ And the only reason why he managed to mention Hoerwick's name just fine back then was because he constantly had a headache. He couldn't tell which one was from his wound or from the curse lmao ]
no subject
I do recall, yes.
Of course, I believe that something like this is rather egregious for a consequence. But, I don't suppose there is much to be done about it at the moment, hm?
[ Now he has blood on his pants like he committed a murder. But, no, it is just a result of Hien being extremely cursed. ]

[ Hien still stays on his side, trying to even out his breathing. He doesn't want to open his eyes all that much right now... ]
... Stay back, Calx. I'm going to dump water on myself.
[ Unless he'd like to stay for the cleansing?? Then be his guest. ]
no subject
I imagine you have experience in doing this already yourself.
[ Albedo does not want to be 'cleansed', stepping back far enough to which he figures is a good distance. While he will need to take care of his pants, he is the independent sort who'd want to handle it all on his own. ]
no subject
He gets out a roll of bandages and a towel and holds it out to Albedo. ]
My head.
[ If he would, please. ]
no subject
Very well. It is only fair.
[ He takes both items. First, he towels Hien's head before moving right along to the immediate area for good measure. Then, after drying as much as he can of that black hair, he unrolls the bandages.
Not one for unnecessary chatter, he begins to roll up his wounded head carefully, but also securely. Ironically, Albedo is perhaps one of the best people for this out of most here, given his background. ]
no subject
Mm... Why were you not a Harvest Cleric?
no subject
Certainly so; he can only imagine that keeping this up by oneself would be a daunting activity. ]
Hmm, hindsight is everything, I suppose. Though, that could have been partially remedied if I had chosen Adept Rogue as a class.
[ Not that Albedo regrets it, mind. He likes too much the feel of a sword swinging in his hand. ]
Incidentally, while I also imagine that tending to yourself has been a regular occurrence, surely you have allowed others to lend a helping hand on occasion?
no subject
... There's no one around me when it happens, so. No.
no subject
I see. Then I suppose it truly is an outlier due to the 'consequence'.
no subject
Mm. I'm usually in the closed off area when it happens, so... I guess this really is an...
[ What did Albedo say? ]
... outside variable?
[ what's an outlier ]
no subject
[ Insert vague george meme about someone consuming certain things over a particular threshold, and therefore considered an outlier- ]
I imagine it takes simply longer in the usual instances, however. It's a pity that you can't simply equip bandages as an additional accessories and have to go about the process properly, but it is what it is, I suppose.
no subject
[ They're made for holding people together. This is probably how Hien can keep the hood up and have bandages around his head at the same time. ]
... You're using big words again.
no subject
[ But, eh. What can you do? ]
...It is simply the way I talk. Though, I do recall encountering such criticism before from another moderator, I believe. PinkPilgrim, was it?
That aside, I assume you're now all set and don't require any further assistance.
[ Albedo will therefore hand him a towel before he thinks of leaving, however. ]
no subject
[ It doesn't anymore to Hien, but apparently he wrote that himself. So it must mean something to someone, right...? ]
Goodbye, Calx. Thanks for your help.
no subject
[ Duly noted, he means. Then, he extracts some chicken parmesan (or close to however he can make the dish), hands it out, assuming Hien will take.
He nods at the expression of gratitude in turn.
Then, he will depart. ]
