Oh – no. I heard it. I'm just...I'm just really surprised, I think. And really happy to know this.

[ He smiles softly. ]

Hien... A lot of us have been worried about you. I don't know if there's much I can do, but I know you like good food. That's why I brought this over.

... When I read my memory log, it mentioned that I would eat anything from inside of garbage cans, collected free samples, went to soup kitchens, or stole food because I was homeless. So... I like food.

And it means a little more that you made it with me in mind.

[ He stays quiet for a moment. ]

Of course I did it with you in mind. I always have.

[ Straight and to the point. He gives Hien (?) a little shrug, then: ]

I think food is better shared with people who will enjoy it with you.

... In a way, I suppose that's true.

[ Hien is quiet as if trying to recall a memory that's been banished from his mind. He's not very fruitful, but he feels that he can understand the feeling. ]

If someone is happy about the food you make for them, it's a good feeling.
