[ And, as promised, Kara is sitting on one of the rooftops in Lumina Cloth, on one of the taller buildings. She's sitting with her knees hugged to her chest, but her gaze is on the sky, watching as it contorts into violet-pink hues with the wind picking up ominously. Once Levi's presence is made clear, though, she turns her head and looks up at him with a soft smile. ]

There you are.

[ She gestures at the space next to her with her head. The smile on her face is not one of delight, or pleasure – there's something melancholy about it. ]

[Leviathan doesn't keep her waiting long. He finds her quickly once he gets up on the rooftops and starts looking around.]

Hey.

[He doesn't appear any different from usual, but there is a familiar look of unease on his face- one that he used to wear constantly but had stopped in recent weeks. It's hard not to be concerned about these skies. Like Kara said, it...definitely seems like Lily must be making a move of some kind, even if the message in his inbox wants him to think otherwise.

He settles down next to her, letting his tail curl around her in a protective manner. Will she let him lean in for a good morning kiss in spite of everything?]

[ Of course she will. She'll even lean in to meet him halfway, and when the kiss has broken, Kara will get in closer. She'll shift so she's leaning on him. ]

Good morning.

[ She'll miss this. She'll miss this a lot. ]

Everything's changed so quickly, hasn't it? Haha...what a strange world. And yet, I've been feeling like there's something more beyond it...something that I've been missing. Do you feel it, too?

[ That flame that's telling her that this isn't home. There's somewhere else she needs to be. ]

As long as I can be with you, though, I'll go anywhere. You've made me so happy, Levi.

[The kiss is nice, and it helps calm his nerves. Kissing Kara has always been good for that, he remembers. Back when he used to be a lot more nervous, they'd be so grounding for him.]

Morning.

[He dutifully holds her weight against him, smiling a little as he pulls out a stack of pancakes for the two of them to share. They have a cute little bear shape to them and are topped with whipped cream and strawberries. They're almost aggressively sweet, as if they're an attempt to combat the growing gloom around them.

He carefully cuts into the pancakes as Kara speaks. Once he's done, he carefully offers her the bite.]

I do. Macha...or Mithrun, as we knew him, he told me I have a family out there somewhere. I think...we were out there too, at one point. Weren't we?

[He can't shake that feeling whenever he looks at her. Whenever he reads their messages. IRL...the place beyond Fragment. It's out there. It has to be.]
