[ Haru's come to add her notes to the board when she runs into him putting up his own. Seeing Winter and Uta's names makes her heart sink... but her first concern is Sinclair. ]

Will you tell me what happened, Emil-kun?

[insinning]

Haru...

[He glances over at her and nods. No secrets here]

I was going to the battle, like everyone else when I got a message from Winter. He asked me to meet him at the unnamed Root Town and...stabbed me. I think he thought if I was too injured, I wouldn't put myself in danger. [He glances down at his hands]

He was...changing before that though. Little things I kept noticing but...

[rebelles]

You came anyway. That was reckless of you.

[ Shaking her head at both of them, Sinclair and Winter. She gestures to the chairs so they can sit and talk. She feels exhausted, he must feel even worse. ]

We'll save him from Gorre. When Winter comes back, you can give him a good talking to.

[insinning]

I know, but...I couldn't leave things alone.

[Sinclair sinks into the chair gratefully, glad to be off his feet. His HP bar isn't ticking down, but everything still hurts...]

...I already yelled at him. I wonder if he'll still be receptive to it afterwards.

You're fortunate you turned out fine!

[ Scolding him lightly, but she's also grateful for him because Sinclair saved her from some very bad decisions. She sinks into a chair, too. ]

If he's being stubborn, I'll scold him for you.

[insinning]

[Sinclair ducks his head; somehow being scolded feels nice. It makes his heart feel lighter]

Mm. That would help. I think a lot of people scolding him would help.

[ Winter will have a lot to answer to when he's back. ]

He never struck me as a cruel person. Why do you think Lily chose him?

[insinning]

... because he isn't cruel. He's always been kind and maybe too blunt for his own good.

[ Roundabout actions simply don't make sense]

He must be in pain from what he's being forced to do. We'll help him remember who he really is.
