[ As soon as mobs start closing the distance, Joonghyuk singles one of the closest disco knives and attacks it with Gan Smash, successfully knocking it down and dealing critical damage (20). After a few more slashes of his sword, he can move to the next enemy, picking the ones that have had their health depleted significiantly—letting enemy monsters roam around and attack them even though they could be killed with a few more hits and getting hurt here or later on is something they really need to avoid in the current circumstances. ]
[ Noir hangs back, firing at range. Joonghyuk has the right idea, and she doubles down on the monsters he's targeting to fell them quickly and cull the numbers. If she sees a Disco Knife about to swing at either one of her teammates, she'll stagger it with a Triple Shot. ]
[The good thing about having quick team mates is that Sinclair can make use of the openings they create much more easily than on his own. He goes for another Heavenly Rage working on wiping out the last and final group of Disco Knives]
[ He knows better than to say something like That was easy or We'll be done soon if that's how it's gonna be—the last thing they need is to be jinxed and have an overpowered monster appear in the next room. ]
[ They're off to a good start. Noir is no longer feeling the cold after that warm up, but the snowfall thickens as they head further in, obscuring their vision, and the howling wind drowns out the monsters' cries. For a while there's only the desolate stretch of tundra. Then suddenly, Mad Grasses spring up around them, having buried themselves in the snowdrift. ]
[ All he has to offer is the fire burning in his eyes... not the only fire skill unlocking at lvl 55. At the very least the lack of useful elemental skills doesn't cool down his determination. ]
Easier said than done, but I'll make do.
[ That Death Bringer he sends towards the group of Mad Grasses might be non-elemental, but at least it crits. ]
[ She doesn't want there to be any injuries from friendly fire when she gets trigger happy using the fiery Vak Doom. Several gunshots ring out, Haru pivots as she fires, melting away both snow and monsters where her shots land. It's maybe a little overkill, but at least the enemies are visible now! ]
[ As much as he'd like to do something, it might mean getting in the line of fire which would be unwise to say the least. ]
It's all Noir's, to be honest.
[ Still, he remains alert for any monsters that might somehow dodge the bullets and come closer—such unfortunate mobs will receive a hit from his Koranshuu. ]
[ Bless you two for letting her go wild. Noir unleashed. She follows up with Rue Wipe for splash damage, and any monsters that aren't felled by bullets meet their end at the edge of Punisher's blade. ]
They didn't stand a chance! ...Did I overdo it a little?
[ Sometimes you gotta let someone else go wild. Punisher never forgot that one time she described cutting down trees as relaxing. ]
It was a bit reckless, but... impressive nonetheless.
[ Not moving until Haru replenishes her SP!! There's an enemy spawn point not too far away with some Cadet Valkyries just waiting to make an entrance. One step too close could trigger that, so it's better to just stay away. ]
[ Sinclair will just charge on ahead then and use brandish to draw attention. He also follows up with Heavenly Rage to knock some of them down. Have at it Punisher, Noir!]
[ It's tempting to try an aoe skill, but going from one monster to another and making their health bars go down one by one is more efficient for his class. Punisher keeps using a mix of Gan Smash, Koppasai and normal attacks until some of the monsters are down. He gets hit a few times in the process, but that's inevitable when he needs to stand close. ]

[And Sinclair goes in with a Rue Break to disarm them and then Heavenly Rage, a multi-target earth attack. Time to start slowing them down]

I think that's it for the first wave.

[ Her SP's low now, take it easy girl. ]

That was amazing, Noir.
[But please take the teas and drink them now]

Thank you, we can keep going.
[ She's feeling refreshed from tea and murder! Not to get too trigger happy though, she'll wait for the tank to draw aggro. ]
