Magus (0koto) * Magus gathers data on propagation, or the human desire to procreate and preserve their species. Throughout the fight, he expressed anger as to how Fragment did not allow for this function, and wanted to protect the world outside, wherein procreation is possible, from Cubia and his influence. * Magus expressed to me a little over a week prior that he believed Cubia intended to escape to the internet at large and "infect" the world and people outside. * At the crux of his transformation, he attempted to kill Cubia and failed. * His area warped θ Dismal Waning Descent, Cubia's personal Area, into θ Dismal Worst Core. Presumably, he attempted to kill Cubia here. * He transformed into a part-snake entity (akin to a to a lamia or naga) with some insect features, somewhat larger in scale than he was as a human. He wore a mask, which crumbled as thet battle progressed. * He targeted our elemental weaknesses. Once Data Drained, he began to periodically cut the lights, inflict damage and an incurable Bleed condition (the condition stacked) and do increased damage while we were inflicted with Blind and max stacks of Evasion Down. * Throughout the fight, 0koto's base personality, thoughts, and memories began to show; increasingly so, with time, and as we attempted to speak with him and address him and his beliefs, both as 0koto and Magus. * 0koto and Hien appear to have been paramours, which sometimes distracted Magus during the fight. * The fight was attended to by myself, tabibito, Fidchell, and Skeith. Myself and tabibito made it through without severe injuries. Unfortunately, Fidchell and Skeith also made it through without severe injuries. See below for more information. * Skeith took Magus's right eye before his death. He appeared to retain this eyeball after Magus and 0koto's death. The eye still appeared fresh the last I saw it. * When Magus fell, his body reverted to 0koto's real body, affected by the passage of time while apparently in a state of unconsciousness (potentially coma). He was dead. * 0koto's body had no obvious cause of death. His body was not missing the eye Skeith took from Magus. Skeith took the body before it could be inspected.
Skeith (Hien) * Gathers data on human reactions to death. * Attended this battle with some behavior that reflected who he was as Hien. * 0koto and Hien appear to have been paramours, which appears to have influenced Hien's behavior. * Hien utilized his abilities as a Harvest Cleric and abused his administrative powers on 0koto's behalf (disbanding our party, healing 0koto to full, clearing his debuffs, defending him from oncoming attacks, etc). He seemed wishy-washy, however. He sometimes forcibly rejoined our party, healed us, attacked Magus, etc. * As the battle progressed, Hien's personality and appearance began to shift. By the end, he appears to have achieved the crux of his transformation as Skeith. * He took 0koto's body. Presumably, it's Hien's attachment to 0koto that inclined him to retrieve it. He called the body "his." * Skeith appears to retain use of his administrative powers. He erected one of the barriers Hien would utilize to block my attack. If this is the case, fight him with care. An administrator can manipulate the data of the game easily; as observed: duplicating other players, generating or removing items, clearing or adding debuffs, altering current HP/SP values, etc.
Fidchell (Fandaniel) * Fidchell gathers data on human reactions to a presumably inevitable fate. * Already at the crux of his transformation. Covered in feathers. He wanted to kill Magus because he held a grudge against him for attempting to target Cubia. * Difficult to speak to; more than usual. His babbling is maniacal, incoherent, and vacillates with the moment. The consistencies in his ideas are: that Phases are doomed to fail, but carrying out the Waves and gathering data is in itself an expression of service toward Cubia; that Cubia will bring his chosen happiness; that Cubia will recreate him and those other few worthy eternally as a reward for their service and faith, out of love; that Cubia loves him. Obviously, these are all false. * Unique abilities: Can summon an AoE Darkness-aspected mist that deals damage over time; can inflict a debuff that causes an individual to take half the damage they inflict on others; can inflict Stun. I get the sense he can do more, but he only demonstrated these, in addition to the usual Shadow Warlock abilities, which he's incompetent at wielding.
