Content Warnings ⬤ WHOOPS cw kidnapping, captivity warnings now. alongside transphobia, child abuse, elements of suicide (suicidal ideation, self-harm, etc.) i also guess there's nsfw now with pretty dark themes for the most recent one so watch your step LMFAO (re: dubcon)

[ You've got mail.
...It's been awhile, hasn't it? But neither single one of you can say that this wasn't an unfamiliar sight.
Still, the reunion for dungeon-running is anything but a less than happy one, no? ]

Still, the reunion for dungeon-running is anything but a less than happy one, no? ]
RESULTS: Here!

[ He raises an eyebrow a tiny bit at that rude fork pointing. Threat...? Ah, but he recalls some tangential piece of information. A wealthy family... These are the kinds of gestures used for emphasis, contempt. Reasonable enough.
This is not in any way impeding his enjoyment of the homecooked food, though. He curls a little protectively around his dish, and his stomach rumbles a tiny bit. Defective wiring... ]
no subject
You can't just be like 'I said something' and are now like 'actually I lied'. It doesn't work like that.
[ Ganymede doing this subconsciously, hecking crying. He does notice the other curl protectively around his food, though, and his expression softens. ]
...If you want more, after you're done with that, I can give extra.
no subject
[ He's giving Ganymede as faintly incredulous a look as can be managed around a very dignified mouthful of tomato and cheese. But he does perk up very slightly in unmistakable interest at that offer. ]
How many?
[ That's almost like "yes, please," right. ]
no subject
I really can't believe you. Now that you said things like that, it definitely can't be taken back. Just so you know that your whole thing of 'blah blah you only see things the way you want to' doesn't hold much water anymore because of how absurd it sounds in the face of this.
[ But, well, at least none of them sound or look very dignified either. ]
Um...I have at least four separate plates. So, whatever is reasonable, I guess. I don't want to turn you into a balloon or something. Then again some extra weight would probably be good for you.
no subject
[ But he's preoccupied with his food, very not-foolishly. Though he does give Ganymede's little puffed cheek face a slow stare of consideration. And he calculates... how many more days does he need to complete his tranformation? ]
...Then, all four. His data says that it should not be lethal to go at least seven days without food. But this body performs very poorly after only a day without it.
no subject
Just that whatever logic you're using is. Like right now. Also this has nothing to do with being hollow? What kind of leap did you manage to get there?
[ Unbelievable that he is thinking of transformation in the middle of DINNER. ]
That's because human bodies need a certain amount of meals every day. Here, put this into your inventory.
[ He takes out the four dishes and hands them over. Maybe he should send dishes to the tower too just to make sure or something, later on. ]
no subject
[ Will an aphorism here be sufficient? When he's so persistent in his misunderstanding? Gorre gives him a vexed look over his food. ]
...Yes. It is an inconvenient limitation.
[ He takes those dishes quickly, before Ganymede can retract the boffer, and stores them away... still thinking of his transformation. Sorry, Ganymede. ]
no subject
[ Ganymede isn't going to let him go easy with this one. ]
You should still say thank you, by the way. It really wouldn't kill you to use manners, would it?
[ Maybe he should pinch his cheek or nose for good measure because he's thinking real hard about that!! ]
no subject
A little sulkily: ]
...Thank you.
[ There. He's pretending that derails the debate about other things as well. ]
no subject
...Except it does work, with Ganymede putting in a piece of his food and whipping his head back up at Michel.
He tries to say something but ends up nearly choking on something.
Give him a moment, he got surprised by it, whatever reasoning Michel had there. This is how he dies and we have to retcon everything- no, just kidding. ]
no subject
So... he can simply render this one silent by actually meeting his absurd demands? Depending on what they may be, it could prove an acceptable strategy. ]
If you're going to die, do it somewhere beside the bed.
[ He's planning on sleeping here?? ]
no subject
You couldn't have said something far more charming than that?
[ He is five seconds from throwing a pillow at Michel or faceplanting onto the bed right away from how tired he is. Which one wins out is a question for the ages. ]
no subject
[ Honestly... but surely Ganymede wasn't expecting anything else from him. The last of the food vanishes and Gorre pauses to give his inventory serious consideration.
He thinks of the food. He thinks of Ganymede, still here. He could evict him now. But if he's offering information... ]
If I eat another of these, will this body become ill?
[ Michel left him no data on this and Ganymede appears to be a font of random food facts... ]
no subject
[ Ganymede teases nonetheless; he can't help it. Anyway, at the rest of that, he makes a considering noise. ]
It depends? [ He crawls on over to place a hand on Michel's stomach, over the covers. ] How does it feel here? A human's body will sometimes get hunger pains and it'd feel like you'd need to fill it, and then you're tired on top of everything else. If you overfill, it'd be a different pain.
So, how is it? Do you think you could manage it?
no subject
Yes. His data says that if it were severe enough, he wouldn't be able to move at all. It is not to that extent... [ He is tired, but not that tired... ] Other data said, overfilling it in this condition would be a waste.
[ Which would be annoying, after having gone to the effort of doing this maintenance. Not even useful cruelty. He pushes Ganymede's hand against his stomach again and gives a little grimace. ]
...I distrust it. This body is too troublesome.
[ He supposes he can eat another food after sleep, and then contemplate his remaining resources. This is a minor inconvenience he didn't need. ]
no subject
Well. Welcome, to put it simply? ]
...You did have a good, hearty meal, so it isn't like you should really go to town immediately, anyway. You're supposed to separate them out too.
[ So it's a good thing that he will wait on that. Hehe, he has his hand on Michel's stomach, he could totally wiggle it to see if he's ticklish...maybe. ]
Just remember:
Three square meals a day.
no subject
That's excessive. I have no intention of wasting the time gathering so many materials. He should not run that inefficiently.
[ In the slightly surly tone that suggests he's just realized Michel handed him a sub-par report. He doesn't usually eat three meals a day, does he...?
But his gaze fixes on Ganymede again. With animal cunning? Or simply with — unwitting — animal pathetic pleading? ]
You gave me four. Will you bring more?
no subject
[ Please. Anyway, he is kind of concerned about how this data has been retrieved. This is proof Michel hasn't been eating as much as he should, isn't it?
Especially when they're doing all this physical activity, including their private extracurricular activities. Having sex burns up energy! ]
...I can bring you more, though. If you like one dish over the other, I can also make it specific to your tastes?
[ Wiggles his fingers where they are for tickling purposes too. Whoops! ]
no subject
And, hey, if Ganymede ever wants to interrogate Gorre more about unfortunate data sources... he's always happy to share. But he blinks at Ganymede's offer, considering it very seriously. ]
...The most efficient one.
[ Obviously! He tilts his head slowly for the finger wiggling, as though trying to divine the meaning. ]
You will need to use more force to make me ill.
[ He suspects, anyway? He hardly feels that, as it is. A strange and slightly fluttery sensation. ]
no subject
Ganymede gives him a look at the response. ]
They're all really 'efficient', so...do you want to define what that means, or what?
[ Not impressed, honestly. But, as for the other comment, that sounds like a challenge. One Ganymede is going to take him up on.
He wiggles it some more, before moving his hands to his armpits. He HAS been wondering where Michel happens to be ticklish... ]
How does this feel?
no subject
The most energy in the least effort. [ A pause, before he simplifies this further, with some regret: ] ...Calories.
[ That, surely, won't have any negative consequences for short term or long term energy... anyway. Gorre lifts his arms very slightly and blinks again.
Then, finally, he fidgets a little. ]
Not unwell. Strange. What are you doing...?
no subject
Memo received. ]
Okay. I think that'll work just fine. But, if something tastes better than another thing, just say so.
[ And, oh! A reaction, but sadly, no laughter. ]
I was testing to see if you'd feel differently if I put my fingers here?
[ He wiggles them again. ]
no subject
[ Gorre tilts his head the other way for that wiggle. And then he simply flops back onto the bed, still watching Ganymede in bemusement. He's intending to rest now, wiggling or no wiggling. There's a fascination to not banishing Ganymede, to sleeping right by his side knowing that in all likelihood... Ganymede will choose to do nothing. ]
I do not. Why are you gathering data now?
1/2
[ Ganymede says cheerfully. As if this is normal, because it certainly isn't.
When the other flops back, the blond follows, under the covers for real now, smile bright and big. ]
Well, that's because...
2/2
