The everpresent afternoon sunset hangs, echoing picturesque across the glass windows apparent at each spot within the large building. In a large room full of tables and what not are heaps of various cuisine settled here or there. Seafood, pastas, drinks, the like; Mediterranean style so if nobody likes that...gomen.

Ganymede has made it clear that he prefers people to be here in order to get themselves together. Sorted, somehow. They're all acting with a sort of independence he seems disinterested in disturbing, but he wants the prospect of potential solutions to be floated along.

If someone has new information they can share, well, it is encouraged. If not, he hopes that they will at least participate in some way.

It now begins.

[ Michel falls silent again, chest rising in a silent sigh. But he doesn't voice what part of that logic he's unsatisfied with. It's true, and yet... ]

They're only data. There's no limit on the number of them that could be made. They don't occupy space, they're only...

[ A concept, a template waiting to be stamped. He stares off in thought. ]

Short of overloading the system with so many of them that it can't generate any more, I doubt there's a way to do that.

[ Help he's not a data person and shows. Ganymede sounds so confused that he's definitely lost by a mile and a half. ]

What if there's only one way the 'data' can get in, though? Can't we find a way to overturn that?

Do you mean, disable the write or copy privileges on who or whatever is creating the monsters? I suppose... if we had higher access than them. Which must be admin, at least. Or delete the monster data from the codebase entirely.

...Yeah, that! That's exactly what I meant.

[ It's clear that Ganymede understands none of that. ]

Maybe we can rewrite stuff too.

[ Ganymede... help. Michel reaches up to pinch the wave mark on his cheek very gently. ]

You have no idea what I just said.

[ But it can't hurt to have given him a little focus and direction. ]

...Perhaps. You could try asking Zelkova. He might be able to, even if we can't.

Ganymede flails a little before reaching out to poke at Michel in return. Even if it is a very gentle pinch. ]

[ He's pouting at him, but he looks thoughtful. ]

...As in be able to do all the things you listed out right now?

Yes. Or if he knows of any way to stop the monsters from being created. He may think of the code in different terms than I do.

[ In other circumstances, it would be a fascinating conversation to have. Now, well. He's tired, and his hopes are few.

He tolerates the pinch with the slightest smile of amusement. Yes, he's very mean. He deserved that. ]

I'm not good with coding and all that, so I wouldn't think to ask.

[ He sees that amusement and wants to both kiss as well as pull on his cheeks. He decides to shift so he can plant two kisses on either side of the other male's face. Perfect retaliation. ]

[ But he accepts his reward with a little tilt of his head for each kiss. After a moment of hesitation he leans down to press one of his own to Ganymede's forehead as a promise. ]
