MAC ANU ~ GANYMEDE'S MCMANSION

The everpresent afternoon sunset hangs, echoing picturesque across the glass windows apparent at each spot within the large building. In a large room full of tables and what not are heaps of various cuisine settled here or there. Seafood, pastas, drinks, the like; Mediterranean style so if nobody likes that...gomen.
Ganymede has made it clear that he prefers people to be here in order to get themselves together. Sorted, somehow. They're all acting with a sort of independence he seems disinterested in disturbing, but he wants the prospect of potential solutions to be floated along.
If someone has new information they can share, well, it is encouraged. If not, he hopes that they will at least participate in some way.
It now begins.

(( OOC Note: People will not be attacked by monsters once within the McMansion, including pool area. ))

Though, I have nothing to concretely back up such a supposition. I imagine there are also 'areas' that would not be classified to consider as 'dungeons' at all to consider as well, with that in mind. Which we may or may not know of as of yet. I would focus a higher likelihood upon those 'areas', and NPC interactions in particular.
[ Still not anything so concrete to make his comment seem more comforting, but sometimes you work with what you have—digging will in time reveal those answers. Marking off possibilities for potential investigation only makes looking into the subject far easier, whether or not the hypotheticals are correct or not.
Such is the nature of research, which at the heart of it all connects to one singular, but important rule:
The ability to persist in the search of answers, even if it pisses people off. ]

[The main sources of the conflicts are long gone now. He can talk freely]
Or it is Lily itself that can induce that feeling.
no subject
[ For what are obvious reasons. Still, it gives him something to go off on... ]
If Lily can induce that sort of effect, I wouldn't be surprised. We have been experiencing odd changes in a myriad respects just by visiting dungeons. It could be that Lily also sees a need to create that feeling as well.
Those who are young would crave a desire to be protected. [ ...Pause, before he slowly adds: ] Usually, by their elder family members or parents. If there is a vacuum in this regard, I wouldn't be surprised by the desire to create one. Even if artificial.

[ It's a psychological thing, and yet ]
But how does someone younger induce that level of worship?
no subject
[ His gaze briefly slides on over to Matoba as he says this before he brings it back to Sinclair. ]
But they do seem to at least mostly relatively mature than most. Or, as you have said, are inclined to be protective.
...And as for your question, in this case, I imagine by unnatural means.
no subject
It's hard to work that out when we don't have a baseline or know the limit of Lily's powers.
no subject
Unfortunately, that remains the case.
Though, perhaps we can outline potential topics or avenues to pursue, which can lead to ways to ascertain the nature of that AI's capabilities, including more of those possible limits.
Then, we can format them into questions to ask them of particular people or NPCs.
no subject
[Hmmmm ]
I guess...do AIs have the power to completely shape someone?
no subject
[ albedo ]
There is one question. How about for the next ones...
"What is the meaning behind that poem about the Cursed Wave?" "What is the Cursed Wave?" "Who is the twilight dragon and the man who relates to the dragon?

I felt like the only one who would know that is Zelkova. But even Zelkova doesn't know everything.
[AND HE IS FRUSTRATINGLY VAGUE]
Have you spoken to Zelkova before?
no subject
[ He says simply, not seeing the issue here...because he has zero interest in asking him anything himself. Not because he sees Zelkova as uninteresting
but I ain't got time for that.]I haven't, no. I had other ways to spend my time in-game.
[ Which includes not engaging with AI or NPCs for the most part, apparently. ]
no subject
[JUST A FEELING HERE.
Is Albedo...shy]
no subject
He keeps to himself most of the time, actually. ]
...As I understand it, you have shown that you excel in such matters. Though there are others who also engage heavily in such interactions, I see no detriment to extending such encouragement to yourself.
no subject
...I guess so. But I did already ask Zelkova about the poem. He said it was important, but didn't know much more than that, and didn't know the redacted names from the poem.
no subject
Incidentally, Albedo tilts his head. ]
Did you ask how he knew it was important?
no subject
[Maybe Sinclair had assumed, who knows]
no subject
[ Even if Emma Wielant counts as 'important' in his book, there doesn't mean there's another reason too. ]
The same for the Twilight Dragon? He might know something about that.
no subject
[Albedo...]
no subject
...Yes, I would prefer it if you did so.
no subject
[Assume all of Sinclair's public inbox threads with Zelkova are now Albedo's information to know \o/]
