MAC ANU ~ GANYMEDE'S MCMANSION

The everpresent afternoon sunset hangs, echoing picturesque across the glass windows apparent at each spot within the large building. In a large room full of tables and what not are heaps of various cuisine settled here or there. Seafood, pastas, drinks, the like; Mediterranean style so if nobody likes that...gomen.
Ganymede has made it clear that he prefers people to be here in order to get themselves together. Sorted, somehow. They're all acting with a sort of independence he seems disinterested in disturbing, but he wants the prospect of potential solutions to be floated along.
If someone has new information they can share, well, it is encouraged. If not, he hopes that they will at least participate in some way.
It now begins.

(( OOC Note: People will not be attacked by monsters once within the McMansion, including pool area. ))

Really? There aren't that many of us. Hard not to notice repeat faces.
[ He steps aside, taking a better look at all the people around them.
...Still no Yael. His finger taps on his glass impatiently. ]
We should be keeping track at this point. We already don't know who's dead from in-game injuries and who just decided to quit before we got stuck.

[Solo! Player!!]
I guess you could try doing a roll call on the forum.

Not a bad idea. But that's assuming everyone checks the forums.
[ Hmm. ]
I'll figure something out. Don't lone wolf it too hard, okay? Keep a buddy with you.

Next you're gonna be telling me I should be in bed by 8PM.

[ Hector plants his hands on his hips and his frown deepens. His tone is sharp. ]
No one will know what happened to you if you run into trouble out there alone. I don't care how competent you think you are on your own, keep someone with you.
[ As a game, sure. But now that it's starting to align with real life with swords and sorcery, game logic is getting tossed out the window. ]
Besides, you're much too valuable of an asset to lose since you can Data Drain. Don't forget that.

Who do you think's been dealing with all this shit since you went missing?

[ He fixes her with a hard stare as he vaguely gestures to everyone else in this hideous McMansion. ]
And knowing and doing are two different things. People here care about you. Don't do stupid shit.
[ He punctuates what he says with a swig of wine. ]

I know how to take care of myself.

[ Teenagers... Wait, is she a teenager?
Doesn't matter. He knows why parents drink now. More wine. ]
Let other people take care of you, too.
no subject
If they actually try, sure.
I don't know if you've noticed, but everyone's pretty busy with their own shit right now. Myself included.

(In a far off universe, another version of himself sympathizes.) ]
I've noticed.
[ Downs his wine... He needs more. ]
But? Fine. If you say so. [ He throws up his hands. WHATEVER!! ] But if you ever need heals or someone to set a broken bone, I'm here.

[ He reaches to grip Shoka's shoulder and gives her a little reassuring shake. Well, reassuring mostly for him. Who knows if she'll take the gesture well. He's a little to tipsy. ]
I need more wine.
[ He needs more wine. So with a small smile, he turns and leaves. ]

Yeah, sure. Have fun with that.
