The everpresent afternoon sunset hangs, echoing picturesque across the glass windows apparent at each spot within the large building. In a large room full of tables and what not are heaps of various cuisine settled here or there. Seafood, pastas, drinks, the like; Mediterranean style so if nobody likes that...gomen.

Ganymede has made it clear that he prefers people to be here in order to get themselves together. Sorted, somehow. They're all acting with a sort of independence he seems disinterested in disturbing, but he wants the prospect of potential solutions to be floated along.

If someone has new information they can share, well, it is encouraged. If not, he hopes that they will at least participate in some way.

It now begins.

( That might be all you're getting out of him right now. He's on that couch with his knees drawn up and his hands to his forehead, as if to soothe the pain. )

[ Sinclair jerks forward, kneeling by Mithrun's side. Ah. This was bad]

Zelkova's brother... you mean...?

... I'm still talking to Zelkova. But it would explain why Zelkova seems uncertain about what can be said about DV--Lily.

...If 'H' is the father, and DV seems to have cursed his name, what about Emma Wielant?

[Since this is before Barrett lost his absolute shit he at least grinds out an answer from his teeth where he's knelt on the ground:]

[He shakes his head, gritting his teeth.]

She was j....just a poet. I think... she's a reason he exists, but not... not as much as the Progenitor was--

[A nod, shallow. There'a a deep irritation that crests off him at the amount of discomfort he's under but clearly nothing will come of that.]

Did this all exist before them? With Emma?

[gluttoning]

Don't know. [He swallows hard, hand clenching into his hair.]

( His breaths are just kind of shaky and not great. He doesn't acknowledge the water; he barely acknowledges Sinclair. He is quiet for a few moments, a creature of pain, and it doesn't quite seem to subside.

Muttering, but audible: )

... Why am I telling you this...?

[insinning]

... because it's important. Weren't we glitch hunting, Mithrun?

[Ah. He doesn't like this at all]

You remember what happened to you. Are you willing to let that go?

[tablescraps]

( Not lifting his head, eyes screwed shut, the headache pulsing, radiating, nya ears flat, tail curled around him, )

... You have Oria now. For everything.

[insinning]

... everything?

[ He glances around, and feels his temper spike. Sinclair lets out a slow breath, kneeling down and yanking Mithrun's hands down from his head]

Look at me. I can't believe you're saying that. Oriade is important to me, that's true. But that doesn't make anyone else less important. Or anything else I want, or believe in.

[tablescraps]

( Ah - a sharp sound at the sudden and unwelcome reintroduction of light, but he gets Mithrun's bleary vision on him, at least. )

... I told you to talk to me. I told you to come to me. But you didn't. I came back, and everything changed with you.

You don't trust my opinion at all, do you?

[insinning]

Of course I do. I wouldn't be doing anything of this if it weren't for you.

[ Mithrun's influence. Mithrun's guidance, whether either of them knew it. He holds Mithrun's hands tightly. Harder than usual]

I didn't come to you because I was afraid of being weak. Over-reliant. I wanted to be stronger, for you, for everyone. For me.

[tablescraps]

( Faint surprise crosses his features - it wavers there, with uncharacteristic hesitation.

His gaze drops down to their hands, like he has to see it to comprehend the sensation. His brows furrow. )

... Why does being stronger for me mean going away from me?
