The everpresent afternoon sunset hangs, echoing picturesque across the glass windows apparent at each spot within the large building. In a large room full of tables and what not are heaps of various cuisine settled here or there. Seafood, pastas, drinks, the like; Mediterranean style so if nobody likes that...gomen.

Ganymede has made it clear that he prefers people to be here in order to get themselves together. Sorted, somehow. They're all acting with a sort of independence he seems disinterested in disturbing, but he wants the prospect of potential solutions to be floated along.

If someone has new information they can share, well, it is encouraged. If not, he hopes that they will at least participate in some way.

It now begins.

...I think forming teams would be good too. We can't all do it by ourselves.

[ So, it'd be good to have people who can or don't use the ability. ]

Speaking of not pushing ourselves too hard, you do know about the drawbacks, right?

Using it on someone without a Core unlike ours will kill them. Also, it will hurt us somehow if we do use it too much...

How shall we decide on that? It would probably be wise for us to make sure parties aren't unevenly balanced, but we only have so many healers.

...and I do. [ she'll look down at the floor for a moment. ] It's why I haven't been too eager to use Data Drain, honestly. I only exist in the way that you see me now, so if anything happens to me... Well, I don't think this is information that you want to see tested.

Well, we can make do with our other classes? Since some other supports have healing too.

Oh, that's a good point to make. Unfortunately for me that I'm not one of those, however, I do hit pretty hard.

she's trying to be as delicate about this as she can be considering that she isn't a fan of this herself. ]

There's really no way to know for certain but, as far as we all can know, I'm not as "fortunate" as others to exist in other areas other than where I am presently.

I don't want to give you false hope and insist you're alive when that's not the case. But, I'll hope somehow, that...

[ He shakes his head. ]

Either way, maybe we should set it up so there's at least one Data Drain user in a team?

Is there a list of some sort of who has been identified as being able to Data Drain these monsters? Myself, you, Misteaks...

[ Ganymede doesn't know how to deal with this at all so that is why he figures they should move past this...and that it won't help Uta at all either.

[ it's honestly healthier for everyone involved if that gets tabled for the moment...or eventually accept it as a truth. especially since who knows what the solution for everything is going to be.

[ Did Michel wake up and wander into the meeting just in time to be morbid? Probably.

It's not too late for Ganymede to rethink his goth dating stance. ]

In other words, those with the ability can instantly kill those without.

[ If anyone suggests that he should 'rethink' that sort of thing he might actually throw a fit. ]

Ganymede grimaces, not too happy about it either, but with those monsters hanging around, what choice do they have? And he's sure people will be careful, right?

A voice (his own inner one) tells him otherwise, though. A cynical one. Because accidents can happen. But that is not the time, and he shakes his head. ]

[ Michel looks dead neutral (haha) about the idea himself, exerting his singular talent to show no expression whatsoever. It isn't as if people here had no options for killing each other before.

But he is directing a glance around to see who else is volunteering that they have the ability. ]

Then I hope Zelkova... and others chose with care.

[ Ganymede nods, and then, well, he's coming around to Michel and slipping a hand into one of his.

He doesn't care it's in the middle of the meeting. ]

...I believe in Zelkova. He is good at choosing the right people for this sort of thing and other stuff.

[ As for if he believes in whatever other entity...that's a no. ]

[ Michel glances down in surprise, still for a moment before he curls his fingers around Ganymede's in return to give his hand a little squeeze.

His thoughtful silence stretches for a while. ]

...I'm glad that he chose you. Take care with it.

[ Seconds before the Misteaks disaster.

It's totally fine. Ganymede smiles at him. ]

I will, you can trust me on that.

...But Zelkova didn't choose everyone.

[ There's a pause and a nod, because he had heard certain other conversation, so his comment was not unintentional. ]
