The everpresent afternoon sunset hangs, echoing picturesque across the glass windows apparent at each spot within the large building. In a large room full of tables and what not are heaps of various cuisine settled here or there. Seafood, pastas, drinks, the like; Mediterranean style so if nobody likes that...gomen.

Ganymede has made it clear that he prefers people to be here in order to get themselves together. Sorted, somehow. They're all acting with a sort of independence he seems disinterested in disturbing, but he wants the prospect of potential solutions to be floated along.

If someone has new information they can share, well, it is encouraged. If not, he hopes that they will at least participate in some way.

It now begins.

[Up they go into a bridal carry, fairly easy with how small Mithrun is. Barrett whistles for Basque, waiting for the dog to catch on that they're Going Somewhere before looking back down at Mithrun.]

( Is probably being carried by Barrett by now...? Anyway, there's a catboy here who, very late into the conversation, is finally speaking up to call some attention - he seems more animate now than when he was ragdolling across the floor earlier. )

Has anyone had a conversation with a voice recently? ( A beat; he narrows his eyes, frowning. ) He might have introduced himself as Lily, but I think most people know him better as @ dv - the entity behind the level cap armor and the mirrors.

Using it on someone without a Core unlike ours will kill them. Also, it will hurt us somehow if we do use it too much...

[He'll just reach down and take Mithrun's hand and, haul him up. He's actually pretty sturdy despite not being much taller than Mithrun]

... How I've been feeling, I think. But it's been getting better. I still don't know what to do with myself, but... People help, I think. It's a weird feeling.

Basically, we all got a bracelet that absorbs the monsters' data. In this case, that's how it's able to take down those shields.

Seeing as all of us are pretty much just data right now, I'm guessing that's why using it on a player without a core will kill them. But it's just a guess.

[Somewhere in the background, Levi chokes on his drink. He goes on to look very uneasy for the time being. But that's nothing new for him, so it's probably fine.]

( Mithrun's easy and light enough to haul up, but he wobbles forward, not totally supporting his own weight, half hunched and bent-kneed, as if he might melt down into the floor again.

Despite this, he doesn't protest Sinclair pulling him up. )
