[Sinclair gets up at Oria's prompting, and takes his hand. He can't stop trembling]

[ He hates seeing Sinclair like this, because he can obviously tell how badly he's shaken up. Oria's response to these things was always handle the task at hand first with utmost priority. He can BSOD or whatever later after that's done. He holds onto Sinclair's hand tightly as he leads him to Moon Tree and finally into Sinclair's room. To the bed they go with Oria pulling Sinclair onto it and hugging him from the side. He wants Sinclair to stop shaking... ]

[Oria's arms around him are steadying. He takes a few shaky breaths, and tightens his hold around Oria, trying to steady himself. Once he starts talking, he starts rambling without direction, because if he doesn't, he might start crying. He doesn't want to cry]

The players need to defeat the Wave at all costs. But those infected by Cubia...he was saying once the self was gone, it was gone forever. Anything left behind was just...a copy. There would be nothing to save...

[ He holds Oria a little more tightly. And then there was no choice but to kill them. He thought he could manage it with Mithrun, a twisted version of their revenge pact. Yet...]

[ Oria rubs Sinclair's back soothingly the best he can and quietly breathes out. ]

Don't treat that guy's word as truth until you can see it for yourself. Do what you need to do to find out. We'll see how it goes.

[Sinclair nods, grasping onto those words desperately]

I don't want to believe Cubia was able to leave is able to erase people like that. But the way Michel looked then...

[ Cubia seems like he could do anything he wants here, seeing as to how Oria's losing his memories of the outside world bit by bit. Everything out there feels so distant, so blurry, so... dream-like. It doesn't feel real. ]

[Sinclair nods. Everything was slipping, slowly but surely. All he had was a diary to remind him of what he's lost, but that feels like a fairytale now, too fantastical to be real]

Even if it separates us, I want everyone to lead their lives and have courage that they can change themselves if they want to.
