[ On the one hand, going on a date when they're trapped in a game sounds silly—to put it mildly. At the same time, however, Joonghyuk realizes that it might be a good idea to distract Brambles and himself by proxy. There are a few areas great for that.

After coming to ΘBright Fluffy Expedition through the chaos gate, Joonghyuk squeezes the other man's hand and looks around. It looks as peaceful as it was the first time he's been here to check the area out. Carrying a blanket and a basket filled with food he's made earlier as well as drinks, Joonghyuk starts looking for a nice spot for them. ]

It looks like we won't be alone.

[ A black pomeranian has sent a request to join the party! He's rolling close to Brambles' feet, showing off his belly. ]

[dapples]

[ This was a really good idea. Being trapped in a game leaves them with two options, really - dwell on it and be miserable, or try and find some comfort. Even though Brambles doesn't have that usual happy sparkle that Joonghyuk may recognise, this suggestion has certainly brightened him a little, even if it is slight.

When the small black pomeranian makes itself known to Brambles, the brunette chuffs out a small lap and rubs its belly. ]

Awwww! Hello puppy!

[ He picks the dog up with both hands and smooshes it against his own face, giggling when the pooch licks his cheek. ]

Haha, hey! [ Come to think of it ... he holds the dog up to Joonghyuk. ] He kind of looks like you! Don't you think?

[regressive]

[ As much as Joonghyuk misses seeing that spark of his, the situation they found themselves in is hardly something to be happy about. It's tempting to just stay in and brood, but nothing will come out of it in the end. Besides, they deserve to experience some happy moments even while being trapped in a game—at least that's what Joonghyuk would like to think. ]

Does he? [ He frowns while looking at the puppy. ] I can't tell.

[ The puppy barks at Joonghyuk because he's clearly wrong. ]

[dapples]

Yes! That's right, puppy! You tell him!

[ Brambles cuddles the pooch and the dog sticks its tongue out a Joonghyuk. Is this dog blepping? Or being a menace? ]

[regressive]

You're getting along so well already. [ He turns his gaze away, pretending to be sulky. ] Maybe I'm not needed here.

[ The dog is indeed cute and Joonghyuk just can't take it. ]

Maybe there's a puppy that looks just like you, too.

[dapples]

[ His expression softens. He knows that Joonghyuk is playing, but ... ]

I need you now more than I ever could.

[ The doggies are cute. But the situation still is what it is. ]

[regressive]

[ His eyes open wide before Joonghyuk closes them and sighs. ]

You know I'm not leaving without you.

[ The puppy thinks that Joonghyuk is about to reach to him and pet his head, but instead he caresses Brambles' hair gently. ]

You wouldn't even need a leash for me if I were a dog.

[ It's a very gimmicky tactic to distract Brambles from the situation and yet Joonghyuk still hopes that it might work just fine. ]

[dapples]

[ The ruffle of his hair is successful in comforting him. The puppy barks in protest, which makes Brambles giggle. ]

I wouldn't need a leash, hm? Is that a declaration of your loyalty?

[regressive]

[ He didn't accept a ring, so...

Joonghyuk doesn't answer the question—instead he leans in to bite Brambles' ear lightly. ]

You might need a muzzle, though.

[dapples]

[ HE WILL ONE DAY AT THE RIGHT TIME...

He laughs bright and joyous when Joonghyuk nibbles on his ear - it tickles! ]

Heehee! It's true - you are one bitey pooch, aren't you? [ Hair ruffle! ]

[regressive]

[ He'd make a barking sound here, but the actual dog does a great job. He wants more attention from Brambles!! And maybe that other angry guy too. But mostly Brambles!! ]

I guess we can set up our stuff here.

[dapples]

Sounds good to me!

[ Time to resume fussing the dog! Brambles gets ambushed by licks. ]

Ehe! So many kisses! [ Just then, a sheltie with big brown eyes begins to nose at Joonghyuk's hand. The Brambles lookalike has appeared. ]

[regressive]

[ A ghost of a smile appears on Joonghyuk's lips, even though he's a little jealous of the dog. ]

Do you want a snack, Bramb? [ Actually... he's talking to the dog. After acknowledging that he looks just like his boyfriend, he starts scratching the sheltie behind his ears. ] And you too, Bramley?

[dapples]

Huh? [ He turns around when he hears his name mentioned. ] Did you say my name twice?

[regressive]

Bramley, meet Bramb.

[ He wraps his arms around the sheltie carefully to give him a tentative hug. ]

[dapples]

[ It's so cute and fluffy!! ]

Oh! Is this my doppelgänger dog? [ Giggle. ] My "doggelgänger"?

[regressive]

[ That's a good one, just not to Joonghyuk who groans. ]

Bramb... I'm sorry for Bramley. I promise he hadn't had any drinks before we came here.

[dapples]

Hey! [ He sticks his tongue out. ] Punisher is picking on me, Mini-Punisher!

[ Time to get barked at by a small black pomeranian! Barkbarkbark! ]

[regressive]

Mini-Punisher...?

[ What a... suitable name. That being said, Joonghyuk can't help but smile after seeing Brambles tease him back. They should have come here sooner. ]

If you're a good boy, I'll feed you.

[ It's up to you to figure out who is he talking to, Brambles!! ]

[dapples]

[ Oh, he absolutely perks up at that - blushing slightly at “good boy.” ] Wha? Me? [ Wishful thinking!! ]

[regressive]

Oh, that's what you thought?

[ Joonghyuk keeps scratching the dog behind his ears, but with his other hand he reaches for Brambles chin and tips his head up. ]

Are you a good boy, Brambles?

[ NOT IN FRONT OF THE DOGS??? ]

[dapples]

I … I …

[ He blushes furiously - practically radiating heat off his scalding cheeks. Oh no. ]

I’m … a good boy …

[ THE POOR DOGS ]

[regressive]

[ The sheltie whines, but Joonghyuk ignores that for a while. ]

Good boys deserve a snack, right?

[ Whatever this snack is. ]

[dapples]

[ He pokes his tongue out and licks his lips. Intentional? Absolutely. ]

Yeah.

[regressive]

If you had a tail, you'd be wagging it right now, wouldn't you?

[ The mental image alone is enough to make him smile softly. ]

And good boys don't need muzzles.
