Mithrun doesn't look happy about having to take on the gargoyles, which is probably as funny as when you have a pet that just huffs for no reason. Mithrun never minds much, but, for some reason, he just really finds these tedious.
But he's used to working through tedium, so, with Sinclair drawing aggro in a DEF vs DEF battle, Mithrun is swinging back around, behind their shields, to strike where their defense is a little lower, spamming AOEs and comboing into his other skills as quickly as he can so he can return to his AOEs as soon as possible.
It's going to take awhile, but, true to Mithrun's word, they really don't have any particular combat tactics. They're just turtling it out with small amounts of damage, and Mithrun being freed up to attack is helping the combat go by a little faster than it would if he were doing this alone (which he usually is). )
